"I book this hotel last minutes as Xiamen Airlines doesn’t provide free hotel for Asia to Asia sector customer. This hotel is very close to Xiamen International Airport, just 5 minutes drive away. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful, they also provide free pick up and drop off services to the airport. The room is big and spaces. Near by hotel also have lot of foods from early morning to over mid night. I have my yummy beef noodle at midnight…."

"Hotel may be a bit dated, but location was superb and excellent! Right in the midst of Zhongshan Road, surrounded by eateries and shopping. Staff was efficient, and the best surprise was that they allowed us a late checkout at 2pm because our flight was at 5.30pm. Truly appreciative of this gesture. Breakast is simple. But there are lots of affordable and nice food in the vicinity, so not an issue."

"This isn't my first stay here; whether for business or personal trips to Xiamen, I almost always choose the Kempinski. The location is convenient, both within the city and for getting around. What I find best is how incredibly smooth the check-in process is at the front desk – there's practically never any waiting. For both travel and business trips, a seamless check-in right after arriving at the airport is the perfect start to a great experience. Beyond the silky-smooth check-in, let's talk about the stay itself. The hotel offers both firm and soft beds, catering to more guests, which I appreciate. The pool is fantastic; if you want to get a proper swim in, it fully delivers. The breakfast, facilities, and everything else truly meet the hotel's positioning. I believe everyone has certain expectations for different hotel standards when booking, so I won't belabor the point (the same goes for breakfast). Essentially, anything you'd expect, they have, and it's all complete. Finally, a word about the staff: friendly, appropriate, and prompt. I think these points alone are reason enough to choose this place. Oh, I almost forgot to mention, the view from the window is also satisfying! ✌️"

The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, making it highly recommended for business travelers. The hygiene is impeccable, and the service is exceptionally friendly. Facilities are top-notch, and the room is very spacious."

"The location is fantastic, right by Yuandang Lake, making it incredibly convenient to get around. The front desk even upgraded me to a room on the 7th floor with a great view. Honestly, I wasn't originally planning on staying here because I was worried that, being an older hotel, the facilities might be outdated and uncomfortable. But my friends in Xiamen strongly recommended it. The room was clean and tidy, although the bathroom was a bit old-fashioned with a bathtub. However, it had a rain shower head with good water pressure. The toilet also showed its age, but for a hotel in this price range, it really exceeded my expectations. The biggest surprise was the Napoleon pastry at their cafe. It was crispy, nutty, not too sweet, and not greasy. I actually think it's better than the one at Lady M in Shanghai. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Xiamen."

"The staff were very friendly and kind. One memorable moment was when I bumped into a reception staff member at the laundry area. She noticed that I was having trouble operating the washing machine. Even though I could tell she had already ended her shift, she still took the time to help me. She really didn’t have to, and I’m very grateful for her kindness. However, there were a couple of issues during my stay. On the first day, I could smell cigarette smoke in my room, which was quite unpleasant. In addition, the room heater didn’t seem to work properly. Even after switching it to heating mode, it continued to blow cold air instead of warm air. Overall, the staff’s hospitality was excellent, but I hope the hotel can improve on room maintenance and cleanliness to make the stay more comfortable."

"We arrived a bit early for check-in, but the front desk staff was very accommodating and processed our request. They even helped us switch rooms when the initial one wasn't suitable, which we really appreciated. The room was spacious, and the bedding was incredibly soft. We had a fantastic view of Gulangyu Island right across the water. All five of us loved it and are already looking forward to our next stay! I forgot to take pictures of the room, only of the view across the water."

"It was a great experinece being in Xiamen and at this hotel. Location is super good. Only 10mins walk away from the metro and the bus stop. The hotel itself is at the food street and there is also a nearby mall for shopers. Even though the hotel is old but they maintain the service and cleanliness. Laundry is provided at the lobby and it was good. Overall we are satisfied with this hotel."

"The Sheraton hotel offers an elegant and tranquil environment, and the front desk service is attentive and thoughtful, making the whole process from check-in to check-out very smooth. The room was tidy and clean, the bedding was soft and comfortable, the facilities were convenient, and the breakfast was rich and delicious. Plus, it's easy to get around the area. Definitely recommended!"
