Hotels in Xiamen

"Came to Xiamen for a concert and booked a hotel near the airport. They let me check in early at 9 AM! The front desk staff even upgraded my room for free when they saw I was alone. The room was great and very clean! Ugh, but I had to go downstairs to pick up my takeout."

"The hotel name sounds grand, but the entrance is a bit small. Once you step inside, it's quite spacious. The front desk staff and security were all very helpful and even upgraded us to a king-size room for free. The breakfast was plentiful, with milk, soy milk, juice, hot and cold dishes, and fruit... even sweet potatoes and corn. The best part is it's super close to the pedestrian street."

"Near airport so no complaints. Took a DiDi cos it's damn affordable. Bus is even more affordable but have to walk slightly further. Either free pickup or drop off only. I choose drop off cos I had a early morning flight. Anyway there was a sign saying no drop offs after 8am. Dunno why. I reached early and the corridor was like a battlefield, linens all over the floor. At least it showed they really changed the linens in every room. My room has this frosted window pane and another clear transparent pane on top just outside the toilet. There were no curtains at the window but there is one nearer the bed so I suggest not walking naked from the bed to the toilet. Receptionist/?boss/driver is the same man. I'm not too sure if I should complain that he was without a smile throughout my check-in process. Oh and no elevator, for those carrying luggage. The reception is on the 2nd floor. But lots of nice food in the vicinity!"

"The room was quite spacious, and I slept very comfortably. The bathroom was spotless. They offer daily housekeeping, which was great, and the cleaning staff were very polite. The front desk staff were also very warm and helpful; they answered all our questions patiently. It was easy to dry laundry here because there's plenty of sunshine. Plus, it's very close to the attractions."

"The hotel's environment and service are excellent. They provide hand soap and laundry detergent, and the transportation is incredibly convenient. Metro Line 1 goes directly to Jimei Railway Station, and the subway entrance is right across the street. Breakfast is included, too. It would be perfect if the breakfast selection were a bit more diverse."

"Pros: The location is great, very close to Zhongshan Road and the Botanical Garden, making transportation convenient. The front desk staff are very enthusiastic and will recommend local delicacies and attractions. Cons: The guesthouse itself is quite a maze, feeling a bit like shared housing with rooms packed in very densely. There are rooms on both the left and right sides, making it hard to even find your own room. Plus, the rooms aren't soundproof. When someone checked in next door in the middle of the night, I could hear their conversations very clearly. The room's decor is also just average."

"The front desk service was excellent — the staff were very helpful, kind, and friendly. They really made our stay more pleasant and assisted us whenever we needed help. However, the facilities need improvement. There was some smoke smell, and water leakage from the ceiling, so we had to place a bucket in the room. Despite these issues, the overall experience was good mainly because of the outstanding service from the front desk team."

"The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of BinBei. Great restaurants and night life around. Very convenient location. The staff was very friendly and spoke very good English. Check in and out was easy. The only negative point of the experience was the room itself. We reserved as Superior King room, for 514元 (714元 with breakfast for two). The King Room only had a Queen bed. The wallpaper was peeling, the carpets felt old and a little dirty. And the electrical outlets were VERY inconvenient. Only one outlet on the whole bedside wall and it was pretty far away from the bed. So I gave that one to my girlfriend for her phone and I had to plug my phone in on the other side of the room on the desk. I know it’s an old hotel but it’s time to update and renovate the rooms. For the price we paid, the room felt like a bit of a disappointment. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and the hotel itself is beautiful and in a great location. Just the room left a little to be desired. It was nice to experience such an iconic Xiamen institution but for us, in the future, we’ll stay somewhere else."

"Eason's service at the hotel was excellent. The hotel's location is superb. The service was incredibly warm and attentive, and the environment and hygiene were absolutely fantastic. They enthusiastically helped us plan our travel routes and were very patient. With Christmas approaching, the hotel was decorated so warmly, really giving off a lovely festive vibe that filled us with joy."

"If anyone sees multiple good reviews from me, don't suspect I'm a shill. It's not strange at all that I've chosen to stay here twice when visiting Xiamen! The hotel offers great value for money, a good location, and the breakfast really suits my taste – absolutely no cutting corners."
