Extremely close to MixC, just a 3-minute walk, so dining is super convenient. There's also a trendy seafood restaurant right next to the hotel that's pretty good. Atour's quality control is consistently excellent, and the rooms are clean. I particularly liked that they don't use enclosed wardrobes but open racks, and they're positioned directly in front of the air conditioner, which makes drying clothes incredibly fast.

【Overall Impression】This hotel has a 'Nanyang' (Southeast Asian) flair with local snacks and drinks. The toiletries are Byredo and include lotion (there's a store on the first basement floor of MixC). I remember them being La Bottega previously? The hotel boasts a gym, outdoor pool, Nanyang-themed craft activities, photo spots, a lobby bar, happy hour, and more – quite a rich selection of amenities. MixC is right next door, perfect for shopping, catching a movie, or letting the kids burn off some energy, making it a great option for a staycation. If your budget allows, I’d generally recommend it. 【Service】The service remains excellent overall. 1. The front desk staff was very kind and upgraded us to a higher floor room with a better view. 2. Whether it was the front desk, lobby bar, lounge, 101 restaurant, gym (24-hour access with room card), or the pool (perfect temperature, though it's outdoors)… everyone we encountered was incredibly observant – they’d press the elevator for you in advance, offer directions, or ask if you needed help if you had a lot of things in your hands. It’s impressive that the entire team maintained this quality during the busy summer period. 3. What surprised me most was that when I booked, the Nanyang craft class was fully booked. I was a bit disappointed, but the staff provided us with the materials so we could do it ourselves in the room, even though we couldn't do it on-site. Their problem-solving attitude and approach really impressed me. 4. They promptly refilled items that ran out at breakfast, which was a vast improvement compared to some previous experiences where things felt a bit stingy. 【Ambiance】1. It's very photogenic and well-designed; you could spend a long time taking photos without even leaving the hotel. So, individuality and unique design are quite important. 2. Once the curtains in the room are drawn, it gets perfectly dark, which is great for sleeping. 【Dining】1. Perhaps due to cost control, the items in the room's minibar have changed (it used to have Basao tea, was that a limited-time offering?). The offerings at the lobby bar and happy hour have also become fewer and simpler, but the quality is still decent… 2. The breakfast at 101 restaurant felt less appealing than before… The Shacha noodle soup base tasted like laksa, and the noodle texture was off. What was clearly mini wontons was called 'bianshi', and the peanut soup only had the raw ingredients but the taste and texture weren't quite right. The mianxian糊 (vermicelli paste) texture was also off, which made me not even want to try the salty rice. And while the oyster omelet and 'manjian gao' (pancakes) tasted okay, they weren't actually what they were supposed to be… (Fortunately, there are alternatives like Shacha noodle shops, snack bars, and street food stalls nearby)… If I hadn't eaten out before, these 'specialty snacks' at breakfast would have been very misleading… 3. To be fair, the Western-style offerings were all good – bread, desserts, etc. 4. There were small bugs in the restaurant; I encountered one right after sitting down, and then another flew into my mini wontons when I went to get them later… 【Other】1. I hope the breakfast specialty snacks can be improved. 2. I wish the dishes and their names would match (some dish names on the labels lagged behind after changes. It felt a bit awkward seeing someone holding 'curry puffs' and telling their child it was 'wuxiang' (five-spice fritters); the chicken popcorn at happy hour was labeled as something else, though it was corrected later). 3. My friend arrived at breakfast first, and I joined later. I was questioned a bit upon entry, and then followed to my friend’s table before they left, which made me feel untrusted… Had someone tried to sneak in for free breakfast before? 4. On Ctrip, a 5 is 'exceeded expectations,' 4.5 is 'satisfied,' and 4 is 'quite satisfied.' I feel that anything 4.25 or above is pretty good… Unfortunately, everyone is so competitive these days, and I understand the difficulties faced by those in the industry. I gave a score I thought was quite good before, only to find out it caused trouble for others… Now, if there are no major issues, I just give a supportive 5 stars…

Metro entrance is just along the carpark of hotel. Hotel location is kinda in the middle of Xiamen island. Thanks hotel for the free upgrade to bigger room. Every thing is good except the strong cigarette smell that filled the hotel including the room despite I was staying on no smoking level. The hotel air is rather stagnant feel or cigarette smell and staff explained that hotel is still using the old school type of central air con system so when someone smokes the smell would be sent all over the hotel. It’s hard to escape. Hotel allows to recv parcel for guests but need guest to find the parcel themselves which can be a hassle when the collection corner is piled with too many parcels. A short strand of hair found at the washing basin (see pic 4).

I had a truly fantastic stay this time! The hotel was spotlessly clean and tidy, and the room was spacious and comfortable. Both the beds and the bathroom were incredibly well-maintained, which made me feel completely at ease. What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service from the hotel staff. From check-in to check-out, everyone was consistently warm, friendly, and smiling, making me feel right at home. They were attentive, thoughtful, and always happy to help, which made the entire stay even more enjoyable. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was warm and inviting, and even the public areas were kept immaculate. I'd highly recommend this hotel, whether you're traveling for business or leisure. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

I almost never leave reviews, but I really have to say something this time. If you're lucky enough to encounter Xiao Lu (presumably the front desk manager) during your check-in, then you're truly fortunate. There are no gimmicks, she treats people with genuine sincerity, always thinking from the guest's perspective, and continuously provides heartwarming little surprises along the way. These surprises aren't the usual room upgrades or complimentary breakfasts, which are standard benefits. Instead, they come from the heart, genuinely helping you solve problems, and that kind of thoughtfulness cannot be bought with money. Thank you, Xiao Lu! Also, @hotel management, having such a dedicated employee is a valuable asset to the hotel.

I was happy with this hotel from the moment I arrived. The doorman, whose name I didn't catch, proactively opened the car door and helped with my luggage. Seeing I had a child with me, he even took all my bags to the lobby while I checked in. Lin Jiankai at the front desk handled my check-in, patiently answering all my questions. I requested a quiet room and ended up on the top floor. The room was a good distance from the executive lounge, so it was very quiet, yet still conveniently located for easy access to the lounge. My visit to Xiamen for the May Day holiday was primarily due to the hotel's excellent transportation links. It was a 30-minute taxi ride to the Botanical Garden (due to holiday traffic), and less than 10 minutes by taxi to SM and MixC malls. The hotel itself is connected to Panji Center, which offers a variety of dining options and a cinema. As soon as we checked in, we went to Tongren Siji Coconut Chicken, which was only about 50 meters from the front desk – so convenient and delicious! When I got to the room, I initially thought it might not be very bright based on the online photos, but it was actually very well-lit. You could also request staff to open the windows. I didn't take photos when I first entered, and later the room got a bit messy, so I didn't bother. A few details about the room really stood out: a shoe shine kit and cloth, and by the bathtub, there were disposable tub liners, a loofah, and bath salts. These little touches are a huge plus for me, as many hotels only provide these upon request. The next day, the cleaning lady even left a pack of Heart to Heart facial tissues by the sink, which I think speaks to the quality of the hotel's amenities. Again, many five-star hotels have tissues that fall apart easily. Now, for the executive lounge: The afternoon tea offers three types of pastries and fruit. While not extensive in variety, the quality of the pastries is superb and very tasty. As someone with high standards for desserts, I give Panji Hilton's desserts a five-star rating. Happy Hour, starting at 6:00 PM, is even more impressive, with at least seven or eight hot dishes. On the first night, there was black garlic duck soup, and on the second night, morel mushroom chicken soup, along with roasted lamb. The evening desserts were different from the afternoon selection, and again, they were absolutely delicious! Also, there's a lovely staff member in the lounge, Ms. Cao Mengying, who is incredibly professional. Not only did she provide meticulous service in the lounge, but since I was staying on that floor, she would always greet me whenever I left or returned, making me feel truly at home. The hotel's smart features are also up-to-date, with an electric toilet in the room and robots that can deliver meals. Regarding service, I had an unexpected injury at the hotel. Trip.com's customer service followed up promptly and with concern, and the hotel also handled it very efficiently. They even called the next day to check on my wound and left a box of cheese sticks in the fridge for me. For other requests, like mineral water, Kung Fu tea sets, and bed rails, the hotel provided everything I needed. Thumbs up! Due to work, I'll be coming to Xiamen often in the future, and I will definitely choose Panji Hilton again next time!

Came here with my bestie, and the hotel even upgraded our room! We really lucked out with the timing. It's super convenient to get around by subway, direct to Zhongshan Road. Line 1 also goes to Xuecun, and there's a bus stop right outside the hotel. So convenient!

The room was a bit old-fashioned, but still felt quite new overall. The service attitude was good, and the room size was quite spacious. The surrounding area offers convenient transportation and easy shopping. My overall experience was pretty good.
