Xiamen is fortunate to choose to live in Tongyu Wharf during the New Year. It is very convenient to go to the island and Gulangyu by boat. The front desk service is also very good, very warm! Our experience was fantastic! As soon as we drove up, a bellhop jogged over to open the door, immediately helped with our luggage, and directed us to parking. When checking in, the front desk agent, Sophia, noticed I had a child and proactively upgraded our room and brought over kids' toiletries. After checking out, I realized I'd forgotten a book, and when I called, they found it right away. Their perfectly balanced enthusiasm made us feel incredibly welcome. The bedding was high-thread-count and super comfortable, making for a very refreshing sleep. The double vanity, separate walk-in closet, and extra-large bathtub all exuded comfort. As for breakfast, it was incredibly rich and varied; everything you could want was there. We had a great time eating with the kids.

Although it's a bit far out, it's still very convenient; the Haicang district is beautifully developed with lovely scenery, and shared electric scooters are readily available on the map. The hotel's environment and hygiene are super clean, the rooms are spacious and tidy, and the bedding is soft and comfortable. The location is excellent for getting around, and the front desk service is warm and attentive. Overall, the check-in experience was exceptionally good, and the value for money is outstanding—highly recommended!

The pier is about 500 meters from the entrance, and it's just a fifteen-minute boat ride to Xiamen No. 1 Pier, making it easy to go anywhere. A concierge even proactively helped us with directions to the pier; he was really enthusiastic 👍. The ferry ticket to Gulangyu Island was only 35 RMB, and the hotel breakfast was decent too. Regarding the upgrade to a deluxe sea-view room (subject to availability on the day): I booked a superior sea-view room, and the front desk upgraded us to a deluxe sea-view family room. For the mini-bar, you need to proactively contact the front desk for refills. Also, for the cute little souvenir doll included in the package, you need to ask the front desk for it. It's a really adorable doll 🥰

The hotel also has a laundry room with washing and drying and a gym with treadmills which are very good. Breakfast is a buffet that combines Chinese and Western cuisine, as well as freshly cooked noodles and stewed wontons, which is so rich! This is the most satisfying hotel I have ever stayed in, highly recommended👍
