Hotels Near eland in Xiamen

It's not too clean. It can only be said that someone is sick in the hospital. You live here relatively close. There is nothing else that I can recommend.

The apartment location is in good environment, going around with taxi is fair enough, however, the building itself doesn't exist on the map, only the neighbor one does, which made us difficult to find the right building when we first arrived, plus we have no idea that the check in room, is one of the room on the 5th floor, as in the address of the hotel, it just put room 501, 521 Gaolin Road, etc. I recommend to give more details to ease the check-in of the hotel description like, 'when arrive, please contact room 501 on the 5th floor to check in', also, the hotel should pin the exact building location on the map, otherwise, guests may get lost on first arrive like us, whereas people around don't speak English to help too. The apartment itself is clean and in good condition with good space & layout. Facilities are good enough, except, the kitchen is kind of waste because there is no kitchenette at all, they only provide bottle water, glasses/paper cup & electric kettle in the kitchen, in which we expect a hotel apartment should have at least some kitchenette like tableware, cutlery, pot or pan (as they have electric stove) and at least a microwave oven & dishwashing liquid, which partly why we choose to stay in the apartment rather than normal hotel. This is one of the upset issues that we have for this stay. The breakfast comes as McDonald's breakfast coupon consists of one small Berger & a drink, which is fine as McDonald is on the street level of the building itself. Plus thing is that we can request for more bottle water & the disposable towel with no additional cost. Although the disposable towel is not so good to use as towel, they are still acceptable & hygienic, so, if you want more comfort, I suggest, bring your own towel. The washer works well, no dryer, but they provide hanger with drying space where there are windows open. The nearest large shopping center, Wanda Plaza, is nearby, taxi costs only ~CNY10, where you can find lots of restaurants & Walmart, etc. In overall, this property is good & worth of money.

I brought my daughter to Xiamen for piano lessons and found an apartment here near the piano bank. I chose the exclusive bed room. The room is very spacious. There are two 1.8 meters of beds. There is no problem for 3 people. The configuration is very complete, refrigerator and washing machine are available. The facilities are still very new, the apartment opened in 2023, and the sound insulation effect is much better than that of the express hotel. There are also Rainbow Shopping Mall and Wanyuecheng large-scale commercial complex next to it, with convenient transportation. The boss is online 24 hours a day, dealing with the problem in a timely manner, and I am very satisfied with a stay. If you have the opportunity to come to Xiamen again, you will come here again.

Mingfa Hotel is indeed a well-known old five-diamond hotel in Xiamen. Although some facilities in the room have not been updated yet, they are well maintained. Overall feeling: light luxury, clean and charming. In terms of service, we have to mention your lobby reception manager, Mr. Xiao Lu. Just as the rumors say, he is elegant, humorous, and polite. During the conversation, it is obvious that he has rich work experience and cultural background. The concierge brother has eyes and ears in all directions, and he greets me warmly every time he passes by. Mingfa will definitely be the first choice for business trips to Xiamen in the future.

I have been here a few times, the boss is very thoughtful and enthusiastic, and there are questions and answers. I asked a lot of questions, such as where there are places to eat, drink and play nearby Fang, will answer me seriously, I sincerely respect the boss, such a good boss is not much. Not bad, very satisfied with the simple atmosphere of the room, and very satisfied! The reputation of this store is quite good. I use my personal experience to tell everyone that the shopkeeper's service attitude is very good. The room is also very good, the boss also helped me with my luggage, thank the boss for the free pick-up service in the early morning, send a sincere praise! Although I stayed for a few days, I didn't play enough at all. It was fun. The sea at night in Xiamen is very different from the daytime. Thank you boss for coming next time.

The service was very accommodating. The owner is very flexible. He accepted another day booking even if it’s not the correct date due to my flight cancellation before that day. He is always ready to pick up/ brought back to the airport anytime. There is also a convenience shop downstairs and small local restaurants. The only downside was there is no elevator to the rooms, but definitely I will book again if I come back to Xiamen due to potential saving and also the owner’s helpful attitude!

Clean room, polite staff, good breakfast, near the Lucuo metro station, exit 12. Convenience to travel around to tourists attraction by using metro lines and BRT. The staff helped us to book Didi cab to airport. Thanks to the brother. Would recommend to stay.

From reception to the room , the services and room ! Exceptional value ! Slept like a log , the bed was perfect enough pillows to keep my head comfy . Air conditioning that worked perfectly! Lighting on point !
