Hotels Near Hong Kong Plaza in Xiamen

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I mistakenly booked a room with no windows. Despite the lack of a window, I had a surprisingly good night's sleep. The room itself was super clean and a good size, so that was a plus. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay, which made the experience much more enjoyable. The price wasn't too bad either, considering the quality of the room and service. One minor downside is that the hotel's location is a bit misleading. It's actually nearby but not directly at the shopping street, need over ten mins walk. Although not a problem, worth to note if you’re looking at the name of the hotel and assuming it’ll be right in the shopping street. All in all, I had a positive experience, and I would consider booking a room here again in the future.

First time staying in this hotel. Receptionist was swift in checkin in process. Clean room and toilet. Toiletries and one time use-pack were all new and stocked up. Would highly recommend. Super B services. Felt better than many other 4-5 stars hotels. Did laundry, they would assist us in drying our clothes when we weren’t around. fold and bag our clothes into the laundry bag once done. Im thankful for this extra service.

The location of the villa is easy to find. It is just right and close to attractions, the seaside and the airport. The room is also very good. It also provides free cheongsam photography. There is a cafe next to it. The service is also very good. The guy has a very good personality and is very enthusiastic to help everyone with their luggage. Thank you for your hard work. You are also welcome to visit Jinan, Shandong Province when you have time. I will definitely come back if I have a chance to visit Xiamen next time.

This hotel was perfect, great location, near pedestrian Street, with so many shops and local restaurants, everything in this hotel was very clean, with having professional, happy, and caring staff, specially Xiao Lin and his manager, they went out of their way to make sure guests are happy. I highly recommend this hotel to all travelers going to Xiamen.

I brought my kids to Xiamen. The front desk guys and girls were very nice. The sanitation was very clean. The room was quite big. The bathroom was clearly divided. The air conditioner was already on when I entered the room, which was very considerate. There was also a clothesline in the bathroom, which was very considerate. The location was good, and it was very convenient to take a car or walk. The order included a breakfast, and the front desk guy gave the kids an extra one. Thank you very much. The breakfast was self-service. Although it was simple, it was not bad. The kids were very happy here. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Recommended by a friend, the room is indeed very clean and tidy. The location is good and it is convenient to go anywhere. There are many snack bars nearby. I will still choose it next time I come!

The location is very good, and the signage of the hotel is relatively obvious. However, the soundproofing of the room is not very good. When someone walks or talks, you can clearly hear it in the room. After leaving the hotel, there is Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street at the door. At night, there are many people, and the street is full of food and drink shops. The pedestrian street at this end of the hotel is already at the end. If you go forward to the other end, you can take a sightseeing bus or bus. Going further, you can go to the pier through the underground passage and take a boat to Gulangyu Island. It is best to buy a ticket in advance, otherwise you will have to take the night boat.

Great location. A little noisy as the room was facing the back road and the toilet windows cannot be closed. Escalators didn't work all the time. Wifi works for foreigner as there's an alternative way to login with the room number. We did not want housekeeping so they left water outside our door everyday.

My elderly mom and I visited Xiamen for a 5D4N private trip. Booked Millennium Harbourview Hotel again on the 3rd and 4th day stay due to the superb and convenient location. When we reached the hotel around 4 pm, we were greeted by a hotel staff wearing a black coat. He helped us to push our luggage bags from the main entrance until our room. We really appreciate his kindness. From the hotel, turn right and walk along the road until you cross the traffic light and reach the end, turn right again until you reach Heping Wharf to onboard the ship for Lujiang night tour. 20 mins walk. There's 2 sessions available, 7.30 pm & 8 pm. It cost RMB109 perpax. The night tour took around 1 hour to finish. The sky in Xiamen started to get bright at 5 am. If you can wake up early, this is the best time to go out and walk around the hotel surrounding area. It's cool and windy. It's a good time to take photos as only a few people and cars are on the street. It's very peaceful and safe to walk along the road. We didn't see any cat, dog, or birds on the street. A 30 mins walk to Haibin Park to see the sea and Gulangyu Island. You may also rent a bicycle that is available at the roadside in front of the hotel. There's many local food roadside stalls available in front of the hospital beside the hotel. We requested the hotel staff to arrange a taxi to send us to airport T3 during checkout. The whole process took around 7 mins, from checkout until we board the taxi. We really appreciate the front door staff dressed in red uniform to call for the taxi and helped us to upload our luggage bags in the car. The journey to the airport took around 30 mins and cost us RMB50. I hope the hotel management can consider changing the room mattress as it's too old. The pillow is too flat. Good for sleep but not for resting. The room is very clean, but the wooden headboard frame was sticky when i lay my head on it. The bathroom rain shower head needs a fix as cold water dripping down when i'm using the handheld showerhead.
