Excellent location with wonderful views of Gulangyu Island. Check-in was extremely slow - with a queue developing, despite it being past midnight - they also required a large deposit (double the room rate!) which we felt was excessive. Breakfast was so-so, quite a lot of choice but generally not particularly good quality - was bored of the selection by the third morning. Lots of parking which was very convenient. To be aware, there are no USB ports in the room and cannot borrow a charging block, so be sure to bring/buy your own. In-room dining menu had a wide selection and good quality. Rooms were clean and well-kept. We were brought a small gift for Christmas, which was very kind. Overall, the location and views make up for any minor ******* - would highly recommend for a city break in Xiamen.

I booked this hotel last minute and was provided a high floor room with a view. Great location and service. However, the room itself is outdated. The beds were still spring beds and not very comfortable. For a 5 star hotel, i expected more but to be honest, I compared it to some other options and this one was great value for the price in Xiamen.

The location of the inn is evenly distanced from various attractions and restaurants. It is an accommodation where you can get to where you want to go without having to walk too much. If you need service, the hotel staff will handle it immediately, which is great! Moreover, the price of accommodation in the inn is not too expensive. It is an inn with a high CP value. I will give it a priority next time I come to Gulangyu Island!

Very good location along Xiamen predestrian street. However, the ibis hotel is in midst of renovation with dirty carpet. The exterior of the Hotel is no good. The WIFI must need local phone number to access which is ridiculous as most foreigner does not have local number and no way to buy local SIM card. Break fast is for local with limited dishes.

The B&B renovated from an old villa on Gulangyu Island, I decided with my best friend’s family to be well-adjusted. There are indoor and outdoor tea rooms and cafes. The proprietress and the staff are very enthusiastic. Of course, the old villa has the structure of an old villa, and the wooden stairs are relatively narrow, and it is easy for young people to get their shoes stuck when they go up and down. In addition, the bathroom in this room does not have wet and dry separation. After taking a shower at night, it will be a disaster. The roll paper is completely wet between the sides of the bathtub. I almost slipped and called for floor mop service. Tell us to drag it and put it outside the door😂

The room is large, but the facilities are relatively simple, and the disposable items equipped with more than 1,000 rooms are very ordinary. The mattress was lumpy and felt crushed. The service needs to be improved. Compared with the services of other boutique homestays, the attitude of this store is slightly indifferent. First, the location of the homestay is on the mountain, and no one came down to pick it up. Second, the afternoon tea provided by the homestay is until four o'clock, and the customer service is told whether it can be given as a gift at 4:15, and they say no. Breakfast is at 10:05, and the kitchen is being cleaned.

Location of hotel good very closed to chungsan pedestrian road, many foods can find here. And closed to Metro too. Just walk 20 mnt can go to gulangyi ferry port

Living alone, I chose one of their cheapest room types, no windows, and a fresh air system. To tell the truth, this price is really high. First of all, the decoration style is very clean and simple, and the room is equipped with a fresh air system. There is smoking in the room, the air in the room is absolutely ok, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the space for use is large enough, and there is a smart toilet. By the way, they also have a coffee shop. I came to Xiamen on a business trip. The existence of this coffee shop is very suitable for me. I usually use it for office work, I sincerely recommend it, and continue next time.

The balcony room is very good, with good ventilation and lighting. There is an elevator in Building 8. The hygiene is very good and the linen is clean and soft. The pick-up and drop-off service from the pier is great. It leaves on the hour and runs once an hour. There are different routes back and forth. You can even go to places that you can't walk by by car. The big trees in the large yard as soon as you enter the hotel are all decades old, including mango trees, jackfruit trees, phoenix trees, cockscomb trees... It would be very pleasant to cook tea by the fire under the trees without the crowds outside. There is a beach at the back door of the hotel, and sand digging tools can be picked up at the front desk. A few hundred meters outside the gate is Shuzhuang Garden, very close. Let’s talk about areas for improvement. The breakfast noodle soup was tasteless and too bland. It was far inferior to the noodle we had in the Xiamen hotel. I hope some seasonings can be added, such as meat sauce, Laoganma, coriander, etc.
