Hotels Near Whale and Dolphin Pavilion, Third Institute of Oceanography in Xiamen

Opposite Xiamen University, the environment is quiet and there are many restaurants nearby. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the intersection, cross the road and take bus 87 at the Xiamen University West Village bus station opposite. It can go directly to Xiamen and Guangzhou Cruise Terminal, so I renewed my reservation for one night.

這家民宿就在沙坡尾有一個大大的鳳梨標誌旁邊的小巷裡，順着坡兒上去，看到標註上一段台階就到了。雖然處在熱鬧的沙坡尾，但很安靜，除了隔壁開關門的聲音。房間大小，乾淨還是比較滿意，尤其是衞生間和浴室是分開的，提供了浴液洗髮水洗手液護手霜拖鞋和一次性牙刷，還有毛巾浴巾（不是一次性）。挺大的電視就是個擺設，不但連基本的電視看不了，連投屏都不支持，找前台的小姑娘弄了半天也沒弄好。退房後，小夥子幫忙把行李拎下了台階。

The hotel is in a good location and has a parking lot, which is very convenient. It feels a bit quiet in a busy city. It feels very quiet when you come in from the alley. It may be a bit difficult to climb the hill with children or the elderly. It is quite convenient to drive. The room is a little small, but it is acceptable at this price in the city. The service is quite enthusiastic

This experience in Zengcuo'an's homestay is beyond imagination! The location of the homestay is excellent, close to the sea, and you can feel the caress of the sea breeze and the low sound of the waves within a few minutes' walk. The botanical garden next to it adds a touch of fresh greenery, as if you are in a natural oxygen bar. Entering the room, the clean and tidy environment makes people feel happy. Every corner is spotless, the bed is soft and comfortable, making people sleep well all night. The sanitary facilities are very complete, the shower water temperature is just right, the toilet is clean and odorless, the toiletries are all available, and the quality is excellent. The staff at the hotel are also very warm and friendly, always smiling, and the service is thoughtful and intimate, making people feel warm. Here, you can enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of accommodation and convenient access to the surrounding attractions. Whether it is watching the sunrise by the sea in the morning or strolling in the botanical garden in the afternoon, it is very pleasant. If you are also looking for a place to relax, this homestay in Zengcuo'an is definitely the best choice!

My elderly mom and I visited Xiamen for a 5D4N private trip. Booked Millennium Harbourview Hotel again on the 3rd and 4th day stay due to the superb and convenient location. When we reached the hotel around 4 pm, we were greeted by a hotel staff wearing a black coat. He helped us to push our luggage bags from the main entrance until our room. We really appreciate his kindness. From the hotel, turn right and walk along the road until you cross the traffic light and reach the end, turn right again until you reach Heping Wharf to onboard the ship for Lujiang night tour. 20 mins walk. There's 2 sessions available, 7.30 pm & 8 pm. It cost RMB109 perpax. The night tour took around 1 hour to finish. The sky in Xiamen started to get bright at 5 am. If you can wake up early, this is the best time to go out and walk around the hotel surrounding area. It's cool and windy. It's a good time to take photos as only a few people and cars are on the street. It's very peaceful and safe to walk along the road. We didn't see any cat, dog, or birds on the street. A 30 mins walk to Haibin Park to see the sea and Gulangyu Island. You may also rent a bicycle that is available at the roadside in front of the hotel. There's many local food roadside stalls available in front of the hospital beside the hotel. We requested the hotel staff to arrange a taxi to send us to airport T3 during checkout. The whole process took around 7 mins, from checkout until we board the taxi. We really appreciate the front door staff dressed in red uniform to call for the taxi and helped us to upload our luggage bags in the car. The journey to the airport took around 30 mins and cost us RMB50. I hope the hotel management can consider changing the room mattress as it's too old. The pillow is too flat. Good for sleep but not for resting. The room is very clean, but the wooden headboard frame was sticky when i lay my head on it. The bathroom rain shower head needs a fix as cold water dripping down when i'm using the handheld showerhead.

As soon as the elevator door opens, a majestic scene comes into view. The environment is extremely elegantly arranged, the color matching is perfect, and it has a great sense of design. It is worthy of being a designer hotel! The public area facilities are rich and diverse, with seating areas, coffee areas and laundry areas. For a lazy person like me, the laundry area is undoubtedly my favorite, and what’s even more surprising is that it also has a drying function. Everything in the house is voice controlled. The voice assistant Xiao Wei is more obedient than his girlfriend. Xiao Wei can turn on and off lights, air conditioners, curtains, TVs and other equipment. The waiters were warm and considerate, and the guy at the front desk also provided me with travel tips. The cleaning lady greeted me with a smile. At that moment, my mood suddenly became particularly beautiful. Also, I was a little worried about the smell of a newly opened hotel. After I moved in, I realized that my worries were unnecessary. There are tea scent machines in designated areas around the hotel to remove the smell, and the whole room was filled with a light scent of tea. I slept very comfortably here, super comfortable. All the furniture is full of design, and this travel experience is perfect. I highly recommend everyone to come and experience it, the price/performance ratio is super high!

The room is very clean and tidy, and the layout is very warm. The lady at the front desk is also very enthusiastic. She helped us upgrade the room. The service is very thoughtful and meals are delivered to the room. The location is also very good, close to the seaside attractions, it is worth recommending!

I recently stayed at the New East China Hotel during a transit through Xiamen and found it to be a solid choice for a short stay. The rooms are basic but clean, which met my needs perfectly. Check-in was very quick and efficient, which was appreciated after a long flight. Despite the hotel’s proximity to the airport, I was pleasantly surprised that there was no noise at all, making for a restful night. The convenience of the hotel’s pick-up and drop-off service to and from the airport was a major plus, adding to the stress-free experience. If you want to venture into town or visit Walking Street, it’s easy to get a Didi from the hotel. Given its convenience and overall good service, I’ll definitely consider staying here again the next time I need to transit through Xiamen.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Rooms are comfortable an clean. The restaurant serves a good breakfast with a wide variety of choices. I was a little disappointed when my wife couldn't get a massage due to being pregnant,no alternatives offered,like a hand,shoulder or neck massage. After the staff were notified of this beforehand and they didn't think to mention it then.
