Great hotel and the service is really good from the start. Most of the staff can speak English and they put a lot of effort to ensure that my stay was comfortable so thank you. Breakfast was great the staff were very attentive and the manager greeted all the guest and checked if they had a nice stay. I would of liked to have a welcome drink like a bottle of water just at reception but that’s the only negative.

I booked this hotel last minute and was provided a high floor room with a view. Great location and service. However, the room itself is outdated. The beds were still spring beds and not very comfortable. For a 5 star hotel, i expected more but to be honest, I compared it to some other options and this one was great value for the price in Xiamen.

Excellent location with wonderful views of Gulangyu Island. Check-in was extremely slow - with a queue developing, despite it being past midnight - they also required a large deposit (double the room rate!) which we felt was excessive. Breakfast was so-so, quite a lot of choice but generally not particularly good quality - was bored of the selection by the third morning. Lots of parking which was very convenient. To be aware, there are no USB ports in the room and cannot borrow a charging block, so be sure to bring/buy your own. In-room dining menu had a wide selection and good quality. Rooms were clean and well-kept. We were brought a small gift for Christmas, which was very kind. Overall, the location and views make up for any minor ******* - would highly recommend for a city break in Xiamen.

Super five-star praise. When I came to Gulangyu Island, I wanted to experience a different hotel, so I chose Lin's Mansion. It was perfect! The butler has a pick-up service at the port, otherwise it would be too tiring to drag the luggage. The hotel was renovated from Lin's old house. It is in the style of the Republic of China, low-key and luxurious. The balcony faces the garden, which reminds me of many romantic dramas of the Republic of China. And only hotel guests can enter here. It is relatively quiet and not as noisy as other places in Gulangyu Island. The service is also very good. I felt there were many mosquitoes at night, so the front desk immediately brought toilet water and an electric mosquito swatter. By the way, there is also a free cheongsam photo-taking service here. The cheongsam is a free set. It is very clean and will be sent to dry cleaning after every customer uses it. The style is also beautiful. It's a pity that I only stayed for one day. I will stay here next time I come to Gulangyu Island.

At first I was very impressed upon arrival, nice view with stylish design. However the nightmare was coming in the evening, my room temperature showed 28 degrees. I reported to front desk and they said some customers reported cold, hence they switched off the air conditioning and turned on the heater. We were sweating the whole night….2nd night almost same although no heater but air conditioning still switched off only fan was working…..I complained again on the 3rd day cause my room temperature showed 30 degrees and at the end air conditioning kept remaining and we could have a good sleep finally. I travelled a lot and never facing such situation at any hotel before. I was very surprised about such arrangements as the weather was not that cold during my stay.

優點：地點靠近貓街，下樓二三分鐘就到，吃飯方便，離沙坡尾步行12分鐘左右，到廈大南門的白城沙灘步行20多分鐘，去廈大訪客中心入口步行十分鐘左右，去南普陀寺步行不到十分鐘！其他景點打車10-20元，公交車也很多。 缺點：假期人多，酒店在交通管制範圍內，想要打車的話得步行到附近的社區居委會那，步行五六分鐘拿着行李箱不方便。而且從十點開始到晚上十點基本都很堵車！ 酒店是老酒店，設施能看出來舊，淋浴間地漏得拿起來；坐便器壓水也不太靈敏，床單和被罩感覺沒洗透很陳舊，服務還可以。 廈門人很熱情，各飯館超市服務員景點的人服務態度都很好，讓旅遊很愉悦，唯一例外的就是樓下對面的妙香扁食（廈門連鎖品牌），早上去他家吃飯，服務員好像欠她錢一樣的態度，我們三口人點了三碗湯麪二屜餃子，麪餐盒單獨收費，吃餃子的小碟小的衹能裝一塊紅方那麼小，我老公就拿了二個小菜碟，結果像祥林嫂一樣嘟嘟囔囔一直指責我們，開門迎客，我們不是買氣去的，簡直不要太氣人了！ 貓街裏的那家水果店很不錯，出酒店右拐直道頭那家四果湯最好，何記沙茶麪很好，老闆也很好。

Great location. Really good views from 53rd floor overlooking the water and the island. The apartment had 4 bedrooms, one which had no windows. For a family the layout was not really user friendly with how things were split up. The living room was not really cosy. There were no bedside lamps with only stark lighting in the bedrooms, no homey feeling. No real towels on offer only paper like towels to use. The kitchen is not really user-friendly. The whole place needs some TLC to make it more inviting. Good location with the mall and restaurants just nearby.

Disposable face and bath towels are delivered every day. I first reserved a day, and then decisively booked the entire Xiamen hotel. The fee was renewed after five days of travel. This is the greatest recognition for them. Of course, those who are not short of money can compare with Conrad next to B. Standard rooms of 30 square meters per night start at 2,800... The same scenery but different prices. This is why I love high-quality B&Bs. I must give this one a try. I thought about changing the room the next day. The result was better in the morning 3⃣️ Poor sound insulation (but understandable, after all, hotels in this area are almost like this), but our room is located on the top of Xinhuadu Shopping Mall. There are many children in the store on the first floor of the mall chasing and playing at ten o'clock in the evening. It's really noisy (Fortunately, I slept late, It was quiet after 12 o'clock.
