Hotels in Poly Silver Beach, Yangjiang

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and the environment is still great. The beach right outside is very clean, and there's a large swimming pool downstairs. I stayed in a sea-view room, and the ocean was right there from the balcony. There's even a bathtub on the balcony, so you can enjoy the sea view while soaking. The hotel also provided a children's toothbrush set, which was a nice touch! 👍

I booked the deluxe sea view room for 799, including breakfast, dinner, and afternoon tea. On Saturday, there was an additional 500 charge, but the experience was really disappointing. First, the 'Colorful Summer' event was very lackluster. We arrived at 2 PM and didn't see any clowns. The so-called 'bubble fish parade' was just two staff members carrying fish-shaped bubble machines emitting tiny bubbles and handing out long balloons, with no music or atmosphere whatsoever. Then, the bubble pool was just one bubble machine that stopped after half an hour. It couldn't compare to Sanya at all. Next, let's talk about the afternoon tea. It was a fixed set of sandwiches, small cakes, two fried rolls, and two drinks. Everything was pre-made. When I asked a staff member, they said it was leftovers from breakfast. The nice-looking and delicious cakes displayed prominently required an additional purchase of 38 yuan per slice. If you can't offer quality, then don't offer it at all. This kind of operation is very frustrating. Then there's the seafood buffet dinner, priced at 268 yuan per person, which was included in our package. Once inside, we found there was hardly anything to eat. No roast meats, no lamb chops, no sashimi, no crayfish, and no decent seafood. And everything tasted awful. If you can't afford a good chef, then don't offer a buffet! Is this really worth the price you're charging? The breakfast buffet, available until 10:30 AM, was actually good and worth trying. The kids' club is also very large and has a heated pool, maintained at 26-28 degrees Celsius. However, the East Wing is under renovation, so getting to it from the West Wing involves a long detour outside and then using a different elevator, which is quite inconvenient. Finally, the mosquitoes were terrible. My child was covered in bites all over their face and body. When staying in a sea view room at this hotel, how can you not open the window to enjoy the view? But opening the window lets mosquitoes in, and the electric mosquito repellent was completely useless. The hotel does provide mosquito repellent spray, but it's not placed in the room beforehand; you have to call for it. The cooling balm didn't do much for the bites, and there's a risk of babies ingesting it if they grab it. You also have to return it after use. Additionally, the bar by the sea at night had someone singing, which was quite noisy.

Five-star review! The room is very clean, the bed is soft and comfortable, and the sound insulation is excellent. I had a really peaceful rest at night. The front desk staff are friendly and polite, check-in and check-out are quick and efficient. The location is convenient for travelling, and it offers great value for money. I will choose this place again on my next trip!

The room was spacious and bright, exactly like the pictures online. It was exceptionally clean. The location is great, with many delicious food options nearby. In the evenings, there were fireworks by the sea, and the night view was also beautiful. There's a night market street downstairs, but the selection isn't huge. I'd recommend going to Dajiaowan for more food choices; it's a very short drive from the hotel to the night market there. The hotel service was excellent, and the front desk staff were very welcoming.

Booked this hotel in advance for my vacation here. It's really easy to find, and the surroundings are great. The staff are so warm and attentive, and the room they arranged was spotless with fantastic natural light. All the toiletries and amenities you could need are provided, and the facilities are comprehensive. Excellent value for money! Highly recommended!

The hotel boasts plenty of common areas, thoughtfully designed and well-appointed. On hot days, when you don't feel like venturing out, it's a great place to keep the kids entertained. The guest rooms are spacious, and we especially loved the large balcony with a view. There's ample storage space, which was perfect for keeping our luggage and personal belongings organized, preventing any clutter. Very satisfied!

Large glass sliding doors to hear the sea.. Beautiful view!!. Large bath. 2 basins. Large cupboard. Large mirror in bathroom and in corridor. 4 chairs. Even a bunk at feet end of bed. Many surfaces to put down things. Wonderful mattress - not too soft but can move up and down... Not a solid inner as most hotels... Very quiet - after CNY, but didn't hear voices at all - only the sea... I would say it should be a 5-star hotel! See hotel got many rewards 2022 and 2023. Draw back: Hot water for bath not clearly indicating, only had to turn it a little bit... No bath mat (towel). Bath outlet leaking on floor. No balcony chairs. Reception staff of evening and morning not very friendly. They did not even thank me for my compliment nor for the draw backs. @

Let me give an objective review. First, the location is great and easy to find. It's a standalone building within a residential complex, and navigation gets you there quickly. There's both ground and underground parking downstairs with clear signage. There are many apartment-style hotels in this complex, and this one's front desk has a nice, fresh, and modern decor. We came during the off-season, and the front desk staff kindly upgraded us to a higher floor with excellent sea views. I've stayed in the Poly area before, and while the sea view there was even better, the facilities simply can't compare to here. The facilities here are very complete and new; even the hairdryer in the room looks brand new. The bedding and sheets are very dry, comfortable, and soft. My child exclaimed how comfortable it was as soon as they lay down. The high-floor view is fantastic; you can see the ocean right from the bed. There were also fireworks by the sea in the evening, and closing the door made it very quiet. Overall, it's a very good value-for-money hotel.

Very satisfied with the hotel booked for this trip, the hotel is very close to the attraction Shili Yintan, and it is not far from several other sea areas. The front desk service was very good, the check-in process was fast, and later it was reflected that there was noise upstairs and it was solved quickly~ The accommodation environment was also unexpected, the bed was very soft, as a person who had a need for bedding, this price can be exchanged for such a comfortable experience is simply super Worth it. Facilities: Very new. It's clear that while hotels are close to the sea, facilities are prone to aging, but this one is very well maintained. Cleanliness: Generally good. There was some hair left by other guests in the bathroom mat and hairdryer drawer. Otherwise, everything was fine. Hopefully, they'll pay attention to the cleanliness of the corners. Environment: Very close to the sea. The panoramic sea view room I booked had a view of the coastline. It's a bit far from the commercial area, so takeout options are limited. However, this shouldn't be a big problem for those driving, as there are many restaurants within a kilometer or two. I highly recommend Qiu Jie and Xincheng restaurants nearby. Service: Excellent service. We booked two rooms and were arranged to be adjacent, which was very convenient for group travel. The staff member with employee number 04 was also very nice. Since it was during a typhoon and we were worried about dining out and getting back, she gave us one free breakfast after we bought two extra breakfasts. She also noted our late check-out. Thumbs up! 👍🏻 I chose this hotel because it's part of the Marriott group, and it's great value for money with excellent management. I recommend it to those driving. It would be even better if the nearby commercial area became more developed and public transportation was readily available.
