We stayed at this hotel for more than 10 days. When I extended my stay for one more night, I was told that I needed to change rooms and that the staff would call me with the details. I waited all day, but no one contacted me. In the evening, my key card suddenly stopped working, and I couldn’t get into my room. It was only after 8:30 p.m. that I was finally told I had to change rooms. The room change itself was not the problem. The lack of communication and poor handling of the situation caused a lot of unnecessary inconvenience. This experience also left me wondering whether guests who book through a third-party platform are treated differently. I hope that was not the case, but after staying for more than 10 days, I expected much better service.

Balmi Hotel is located in the heart of the city, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the room was reasonably clean, offering a comfortable stay. However, I did encounter an issue that needs attention. I spotted two small cockroaches during my stay. While this did not ruin my experience, it needs to improve pest control measures. Addressing this would greatly enhance the overall quality of the stay. Despite this, Balmi has a lot to offer and could easily be a top choice for travelers once this issue is resolved.

I ordered lunch, but the food took far too long to arrive. To make matters worse, customers who arrived after us were served before we were. They were even seated right in front of us, which made the situation even more frustrating. Because of this experience, I don't think I will come here for lunch again. Other than that, the service was excellent.

The room size is average, and the housekeeping service is decent. The location is quite convenient, very close to popular attractions, and within walking distance. The service is good, but they only speak the local language and English, so communication in Chinese is not possible.

I was able to walk effortlessly to the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda, the historic Sule Pagoda, and several beautiful parks in the vicinity. This prime location not only saved me time and transportation costs but also allowed me to immerse myself in the local atmosphere and discover hidden gems along the way. The convenience of having such major attractions within walking distance truly enhanced my cultural experience. The service here is nothing short of exceptional. Every single staff member went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. From the concierge who provided invaluable local insights to the housekeeping team who maintained impeccable standards of cleanliness, the attention to detail and genuine care for guests was evident in every interaction. Their professionalism, friendliness, and willingness to assist with any request made me feel truly valued as a guest. Safety and security were never a concern during my stay. The hotel maintains excellent security measures, and I felt completely at ease throughout my visit. Whether returning late in the evening or leaving early in the morning, the well-lit surroundings and attentive security staff provided complete peace of mind. In conclusion, Hotel G Yangon offers an outstanding combination of top-notch facilities, prime location, delectable nearby dining, impeccable service, and a secure environment. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, this hotel provides everything you need for a memorable stay in Myanmar's vibrant largest city. After reading George Orwell's 'Burmese Days,' I had a spontaneous idea to visit Myanmar for a few days. Then I found out that The Strand Hotel, one of Asia's three heritage hotels, the 'Pearl of Southeast Asia,' and the oldest hotel in Southeast Asia, had reopened! It was perfect in my eyes: 1. **Reasonable price**; 2. **Great location** (right by the Yangon River, next to the Rosewood Hotel, and just a 10-minute walk from the Sule Pagoda in the city center); 3. **Rich history and countless literary references**; 4. **Its experience of closing due to civil war**; 5. **Excellent drinks and delicious food** (even the late-night snacks were good); 6. **Proficient English speakers among the front desk, restaurant, and bar staff**; 7. **Exceptional service**.

Front Dress was very helpful and gentlemen who at the door very friendly overall a great stay is great location. I’ll definitely recommend this to anyone.

I had a really pleasant experience staying at PARKROYAL Yangon. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would be happy to stay there again. For the price, it's perfectly fine. If all you need is a place to sleep, you can confidently book it. It's quite minimalistic. There's breakfast, but I missed it because it started at 7:00 AM, and when I went down, the restaurant was still empty.

Hands down the best hotel in Yangon! It's new, stylish, and just a pleasure to stay at. The rooms are gorgeous, and the beds are incredibly comfortable (you'll sleep like you're on a cloud). Service is 10/10. Breakfast is 500/10! They serve good coffee, and you can even order Eggs Benedict with salmon (which is a big deal for Myanmar), and it's included in the breakfast. The location is right in the city center, next to Sule Pagoda. If I ever come back to Yangon, it'll only be to this hotel! It's rare for me to enjoy a stay this much, but I was truly impressed here.
