Hotel G Yangon ★★★★
"The room wasn't big, but it was very clean. The surrounding area is great with Japanese restaurants and Lanzhou pulled noodle shops nearby, which is very convenient. It's also very close to the Great Pagoda. The staff were very welcoming and greeted me warmly."
Hotel Grand United - Chinatown ★★★
"The hotel is very conveniently located. They serve breakfast. There's a restaurant on the 9th floor where you need to arrive at 7 a.m. for breakfast. I overslept, and it was delivered to my room at 7:15 a.m. 😀. There are several nearby streets with cafes and currency exchange shops around 21st Street. SIM cards are sold (just tables with goods on the street) and they issue them quickly and inexpensively. You can book bus tickets and exchange money at the hotel (the rate is slightly lower than at the currency exchange shops nearby). I stayed for one day, then extended it for another. I liked it. Next time I'm in Yangon, I'll probably stay here again. There's a yellow pages directory in the room, but the Wi-Fi works well. The only downside is that you have to wait a few minutes for the hot water to come on, and there's some kind of insect repellent hanging in the shower that apparently has a very unpleasant odor. That's a minor detail, but the main thing is that it's quiet, clean, and conveniently located."
PARKROYAL Yangon ★★★★★
"LOCATION Excellent location. In the immediate vicinity of the central train station. A 15-minute walk from Sule, with all its bus lines. A good starting point for exploring the city on foot. Shopping centers are in the immediate vicinity. A 30-minute taxi ride from the airport. SERVICE Excellent welcome and service. Excellent attention at every moment, whether from the housekeeping staff, restaurant staff, concierge, or the gym/spa/pool staff. PS: Please note the $200 USD security deposit required for some reservations. This should be anticipated, although it is payable by credit card (check if this option is worth according to your bank's terms and conditions applied for transaction in Myanmar). ENVIRONMENT Quiet and safe neighborhood. Elegant and comfortable hotel. Harmonious and high-quality layout. Impeccable maintenance. ROOM Superior King Bed Room: Perfect for one person, with a desk area and a small sitting area. Bright. Well laid out. Comfortable. Very good quality bedding. Clean, high-quality linens. Spacious and clean bathroom. Hot water with good pressure. Very good Wi-Fi. Conveniently placed electrical outlets. Excellent lighting. Luggage storage available (for one bag). Pleasant city view. Central air conditioning system. It worked perfectly, but I didn't find the adjustments very user-friendly. BREAKFAST Large dining room. Well-spaced buffet area, open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Elegant dining room. I preferred the back of the room for its quietness, privacy, and comfort. Attentive and courteous staff. A well-stocked and varied buffet. Yet, there was a noticeable difference in quality between the buffet, the kitchen staff, and the buffet presentation between weekdays and weekends. Some of the glass-fronted areas in the dining room were not clean at all: cobwebs, long-standing dust, and general grime. This needs improvement, as it's not what you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber. The buffet occupied most of my mornings; however, I'm not sure I would have wanted to pay an additional $20 USD for it if it wasn't already included in the reservation. FACILITIES *The hotel has all the facilities one would expect for a hotel of this standard. In conclusion, I benefited from a very good price offer through Trip.com, which accurately reflected the hotel's value for money. I was truly delighted with my stay and will keep the PARKROYAL on my list of favorites for a future trip."
Green Star Hotel Yangon ★★★
"Overall, a very comfortable stay. The location is great, not far from Chinatown, and the hotel environment is much better than those in the Chinatown area. Definitely recommended, I would stay here again."
Hotel Bond ★★
"Good location"
8 Mile Hotel ★★★
"Not bad !"
Pan Pacific Yangon ★★★★★
"The hygiene was terrible. It felt like the room hadn't been used in a long time, with a strong musty smell. The bedsheets weren't clean, and the breakfast was just mediocre and unappetizing. Plus, the lobby wasn't on the ground floor, which was inconvenient."
Hotel Grand United - 21st Downtown ★★★
"Economical price, decent place."
Hotel Balmi ★★★
"staffs are helpful, able to communicate in english, overall experience is good"

"very nice stay and have the best breakfast"
Lotte Hotel Yangon
"Very new & luxury hotel. Breakfast was nice, and room was amazing. We'd stay here again."
Awei Metta (Yangon)
"Revisiting this hotel, I noticed the facilities have deteriorated. The hot water issue still hasn't been fixed. The central air conditioning controls have been sealed off and replaced with 'No Smoking' signs, and the new wall-mounted AC unit isn't powerful enough to cool the room properly."
Zealax Hotel & Residence
"Excellent hotel in Yangon 😎 everything was top-notch—the rooms, service, and housekeeping 🫶. There's also a wonderful rooftop bar with amazing city views 👍."
The Strand Yangon
"The atmosphere was amazing, truly exuding its historical charm as one of the luxurious hotels in the colonial period, and now tastefully revived as a boutique-esque hotel. Service was great, especially Thinzay and Htet who welcomed me and gave a tour around the room, and explained all services. Ingyin was also amazing in her service helping me with the checkout and trip to the airport. Overall great experience and would recommend for your stay in Yangon."
Summit Parkview Yangon
"Good service and good staff"
Yangon Thanlwin Hotel
"Booked for a colleague. The bathroom was clean, staff were friendly, and requests were promptly addressed. The location is convenient for transportation, and it offers great value for money. Suitable for both business trips and leisure travel."
Sayarsan Hotel Yangon
"So good"
Hotel Lavender
"It's located near the Shwedagon Pagoda, making it ideal for sightseeing. There seems to be a bath, but I wasn't able to use it."
Wyne Hotel
"The hotel reception staff and security staff were very friendly towards customers. The room was also kept clean. The location was convenient for my activities, and the breakfast was very neat and delicious, so I was very satisfied. It was especially nice that they allowed me to eat from 6 in the morning. Reception staff, security staff, other miscellaneous staff, and room cleaning staff all smile at the same time. I had a very comfortable stay for 5 days thanks to the friendly and friendly guidance. I stayed at the Melia Hotel in August 2023, and I think it was a much more satisfying hotel than there."
Millennium Hotel
"Nice and friendly staff at reception desk, spacious room, convenient location, not far China town and various local bars"
Best Western Chinatown Hotel Yangon
"The area around Chinatown is very convenient with plenty of restaurants, shops, and supermarkets. The hotel is old, but it's considered one of the better ones in the area. The price is reasonable, and the breakfast is decent—a buffet. The service is excellent and very welcoming."
Areca Hotel Yangon
"Matching the price"
The Rangoon Hotel
"The hotel is nice. Don't expect super high standards like in China or Europe due to the socioeconomic situation of the country but honestly, I have nothing to complain about. The staff was very kind and spoke English, the view from the top is fantastic, rings are clean and nice. Unfortunately, the breakfast included almost nothing vegan, that's the only downside."
Hotel Sidney
"It was only a short stay, but it was very comfortable and quite near to the airport. I particularly enjoyed the vibes - it looked straight out of a movie! The staff were all helpful, they even packed our breakfast since our flight was early. You can also immersed in the experience of trying traditional tanaka (face cream) at the lobby."
Hotel Grand Galaxy
"Very good and affordable place to stay while you’re in Yangon, breakfast and the location is perfect"
