A very nice hotel, lovely room, decent breakfast, comfortable lounge and friendly staff. However, the beach is a sad sight, dirty, covered with debris, no shops, restaurants, bars, no atmosphere whatsoever. boring and dull. city side is a huge factory. not the kind of place to enjoy the seaside. definitely not a ”golden” beach.

The hotel is located right on the beach. Very beautiful. Hotel is a bit dated. Rooms were nice but older furniture and carpets. There was only one electricity plug next to bed and it didn’t work. When we checked in and went to the room, the room keys wouldn’t work, so we had to go back down to the front desk, and they just assigned us to the room next door. The worst part was that the room was extremely warm, 28 Celsius! I called the front desk and they sent a maintenance worker to “look” at it. But the AC was broken. Instead of putting us in a different room with a working AC, the hotel brought a swamp cooler to our room. The swamp cooler was extremely loud, but it did cool the room down for the night. But the next day, the room was hot and we checked out early because we simply were not enjoying ourselves. We also wanted to order room service, but the hotel didn’t have the items in the menu available that we wanted :(. I ordered a hamburger, but it was gross. There are many nice hotels to stay at in Yantai. The Sheraton used to be one of them…

Sea view twin room, the room is very large, the sea view is really comfortable! We came together with the elderly and children and liked the spacious place. You can watch the sunrise in the morning, although the sunrise is on the side of the picture frame, a bit oblique. The sea view is good. Very close to the coast, there is a large parking lot for free parking, I think it is acceptable to take two steps, after all, the price is half cheaper than the next door. Due to the off-season, I didn't feel the sound insulation problem. But the shower has a saying, the location is small, the hot water is gone, and it is not enough to wash the child. B&B hygiene is OK. Don't expect too much. The carpet tents don't look very clean and the bedding is OK. It's cold. It's more intimate to have electric blankets and thick quilts. There are toys for children to play with. We also left the toys for sand digging when we left. It is also more troublesome to take the plane away. We are the city farthest from the sea. This time, we felt the fun of catching the sea at close range in the hotel. There is also a pot inside, you can simply cook. Overall very pleasant!
