We chose the Hiberus because we were in between gigs during a very hot summer in Spain and wanted great AC and a pool. Check and check! If you want to actually experience Zaragoza, this might not be the hotel for you. It's a €10-€12 cab ride into the historic part of town. The hotel bar is decent and has fair prices. The restaurant and breakfast buffet are really expensive, and there aren't a whole lot of restaurant options in walking distance. The area itself is sort of a ghost town left over from the 2008 world expo, and you get the sense that this hotel was a cutting edge facility for that time. But, it has not bean updated since. Therefore, if you are from the states you will need to plan to bring a power adapter as there are not usb ports in the rooms (like you would find in a more contemporary hotel), and the WiFi is sketchy.
The staff were kind and exceptionally helpful.
