The hotel is ideally situated in a prime location, making it easy to reach and navigate. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by its stunning beauty and elegant decor. The check-in process was very smooth. They even offer self check-in. After we arrived to our room we received a welcome plate of fruit and yogurt. The room we stayed in was a masterpiece of design, meticulously decorated with a keen eye for detail, and the cleanliness maintained by the staff was impeccable. We thoroughly enjoyed the buffet breakfast, which offered an impressive variety of dishes, including both Western and Chinese cuisines. The area surrounding the hotel boasts breathtaking views of the river, adding to the overall charm of our stay. The only thing missing is a swimming pool. The other amenities are very nice.

The shower was clogged (completely, the water didn't drain), so I tried to use the bath, and there the showerhead didn't work, so we couldn't do the most basic thing of taking a shower in our room. We didn't try to change rooms because we found out after midnight and were too tired to deal with complaining and packing and moving to a different room. However, this is not acceptable. I would expect this thing in a cheap hostel, not in a fancy hotel.

This is my fourth stay in Venice. The hotel front desk lady upgraded me to a 15th floor view room for free. The night view is beautiful. New decoration, luxurious decoration, no odor, clean and bright, good view, quiet, good service. Free fruit plate, free tea and coffee. Rich breakfast. Good reviews👍👍👍👍👍 Will come again.

It's better than expected. The hotel's location, room design and front desk service are all very satisfactory. Zhangjiakou has convenient public transportation. You can take a bus to the beautiful mountains and rivers and Zhangjiakou Fort near the hotel.
