Hotels near Guangdong Institute of Technology (Dinghu Campus) in Zhaoqing

Booked two rooms. Apparently our two single-beds room is bigger and came with a refrigerator. Our queen bed room’s washroom is way smaller and did not have a refrigerator. But overall experience is good.

-- Hotel advantages: 1. The hotel is very new, the decoration is modern and fashionable, the hardware facilities are also very complete, and it is very comfortable to live in! 2. Our room type is: Tongmeng City View Child-Mother Room, which contains a 1.8-meter large bed + a 1.2-meter small bed. The style of the room is warm and cute, full of childlike fun, with a small tent and a small wooden horse. There is a bathtub that provides a duck family with toys (a big yellow mother duck and two ducklings), which can be placed in the bathtub to play. The two kids spray water on each other and have a lot of fun! 3. The hotel is strategically located: close to Qixingyan Scenic Area; directly connected to Xinghu International Plaza (large comprehensive shopping mall), and there is another shopping mall next door; downstairs is Qixingyan Archway, Musical Fountain, Archway Park, Xinghu Cruise Ship Terminal, Bauhinia Xidi Cultural and Creative Street, Food Street, Children's Paradise, etc. It is very close to any gate of Qixingyan Scenic Area by driving or taking a taxi from the hotel. Staying here can easily kill 2 days! 4. The viewing platform on the 7th and 8th floors is so surprising! On the 7th floor, you can sit and drink tea and enjoy the view, and then go up to the 8th floor, which is a very wide terrace. From here you can directly see the front and side of the musical fountain, and have a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery of Qixingyan! 5. The hotel's buffet breakfast is rich in variety, high quality and value for money! 6. I was given a fruit plate as a gift, and I have to praise it. The fruit is very fresh and sweet, and it’s really delicious! 7. The outdoor swimming pool on the fourth floor is very beautiful and can be seen from the window as soon as you come out of the room. It is very pleasing to the eye! -- Areas for improvement: The swimming pool on the 1st and 4th floors. After exiting the hotel door, I didn't see any instructions. I was at a loss as to how to enter the swimming pool. It's really just a matter of simply putting a sign there: Please enter the pool from the gym on the right. The lack of such a reminder caused trouble to the guests. --Other information that can be shared: 1. Regarding how to visit Qixingyan Scenic Area, I personally recommend taking a wetland park cruise, because this project includes multiple itineraries of boating + visiting 3 islands, and the content is relatively rich. And you can watch and feed up close: flamingos, red-crowned cranes, swans and many other birds and animals. This is much more interesting than simply looking at mountains and rivers!

Very good hotel, I stay here every time I come here. This time I was upgraded to a big room, which is so comfortable. The service is also very good, the price is not expensive, the breakfast is also delicious, the hotel can also entertain guests in many rooms and halls, the surrounding commercial area is prosperous, there are also many delicious foods, and the archway square is just across the tunnel at the door. I especially thank the front desk lady Xiaoyan, who is gentle and amiable, and we are almost friends. She also gave me a small toiletries set, thank you!

Very good location, carpark space was perfect right to the lobby entrance. Rooms were excellent with lake view, it's clean and tidy with sufficient amenities. Breakfast was typical local Chinese style, we're ok but needed some improvement for foreigners and outer province visitors. Overall the city roadworks were perfect, roadsigns were clear and easy to track.

The hotel is located near Zhaoqing's famous scenic spot, making it very convenient for traveling and eating. There is a coffee machine in the lobby, providing free coffee and tea. I booked 4 rooms and arranged them on the same floor for me. The rooms were very new and had no peculiar smell. The double bed room faces north, on the side of the road, overlooking Qixing Lake. The room is smaller and darker than the double bed room. The bathroom is also smaller than the twin room, and the space in the shower room is relatively small, making it difficult to turn around. The intelligent design in the room makes Xiaodu more convenient. There is its own parking lot downstairs. Parking must be on the sidewalk. The entrance to the parking lot is next to the lobby.

I am very satisfied with my stay at Xinghu Hotel in Zhaoqing. The location is in the downtown area, opposite Qixingyan Archway Square. You can see Qixingyan Scenic Area from the guest room, and you can see the musical fountain at night. The front desk service is excellent and fast, and the handsome guy is of high quality. The guest rooms are large in space, functional and of high quality. Walk-in closet, bathroom with dry and wet separation, bathtub with TV. The housekeeping service does a great job. Breakfast is served in the revolving restaurant on the 29th floor, which is suitable for both dining and viewing. The buffet in the evening was very rich, and the hairy crabs were a surprise. The Chinese restaurant has good food and good service. Highly recommended.

A very nice hotel. The lobby is spacious and bright. It is equipped with tea. There are also some small facilities, such as rubber bands for dental floss to tie your hair. Although they are inconspicuous, they are very practical. The front desk staff has a very good attitude and makes people feel at home. The room is clean and tidy, with complete facilities. It is equipped with free charging cables, free drinks, etc. The breakfast buffet on the fourth floor has a good environment and the food is okay. A great stay experience, I will come again if I have the chance.

2023.05.09 Stayed in Room 5107 of ”Baoli Hotel” in Duanzhou District, Zhaoqing City for two nights. The hotel has free parking, washing machine service, and a place to dry clothes. The decoration and configuration are the same as those of traditional hotels. There are carpets in the corridors and indoors, and the bathroom is separated from wet and dry areas. The room is large enough and hygienic. It is equipped with central air conditioning, sofa, wardrobe, etc. It's relatively quiet at night, so for food shopping, you need to walk a few steps and look across the road. There is a teahouse with a night market next to it, and morning tea is available only at 8 a.m. There is no other breakfast supply nearby. This stay experience was overall good and cost-effective.

The space is really big and the floor height is great! ! Facilities: Very complete. Disposable supplies are replaced every day. The TV can be projected onto the screen, which is really a plus! ! Hygiene: Very good, the sofa and everything are new~ Service: The service attitude is very good and messages are responded to in a timely manner~ Overall this is a very nice hotel, the rooms are spacious and bright, and the beds are comfortable. The staff's enthusiastic service makes you feel warm. There is also a CDC supermarket and many snack and milk tea shops downstairs of the hotel, so you don’t have to worry about what to eat!

Wonderful! My 2 nights vacation at Sheraton Zhaoqing Dinghu was outstanding! I upgraded my room once I arrived to the deluxe suite with was worthwhile! Emma and Dior were kind enough to come get me from the train station because the taxi drivers were difficult to communicate with and I was not sure where to go for DiDi pickups. Emma took very good care of me and made me feel extremely comfortable. She made my vacation so much better and I’m extremely grateful! The room was absolutely gorgeous and I was extremely comfortable! The staff was kind and friendly while the food was delicious! I had a lovely 2 nights vacation! I’m looking forward to visiting in the future!
