The front desk was friendly and there were many reviews saying that luggage was stored, but it was self check-in, so luggage storage was not possible. We've stayed at this hotel before, several years ago. A different experience this time. Breakfast not included, and very expensive. Bar and restaurant advertised but closed. There is a minibar in the room, are the items free? Or is there a charge? I have no idea. The hotel has 7 dedicated parking bays for guests. You can't book them and during our stay I only saw some available as we were leaving on Sunday morning. There is some street parking available at 1chf for maximum of 2 hours. The room would have been just roomy enough except we are traveling with our son who slept on the very uncomfortable sofa bed which, when extended, meant we were all edging past each other. The shower entry was so narrow that my wide-shouldered son had to go in sideways. Luckily, we're all quite slender. The room itself is looking very run down and the kettle leaked. Also, not enough lighting: if you want to read, you need to position yourself directly under a light. On the plus side, the location is convenient for trams, close to the centre, there is a Co-op downstairs and a bakery across the road.
