Hotel near Qianshan Hot Spring Area,Xianning 75.6% of visitors choose this area
MMolin 2025.08.11
This was my first visit to Country Garden Xianning, and I truly felt it's the best hotel in the area. Yet, the official photos make it look quite old and dated, which always led us to travel further to Chibi for hot springs. In actuality, both the hotel's ambiance and the room conditions far exceeded our expectations. The restaurant environment was lovely, and the breakfast was hearty. They really should consider updating their promotional images! We were upgraded to a room with a spacious bay window. We asked a staff member for an extra duvet, and the kids absolutely loved playing on it! The Water World is located just across the road from the hotel, with a convenient shuttle service. While the hot springs remain the main draw, they've also added a wave pool and a bubble pool. The large slide is unfortunately out of commission, but for those not keen on thrilling rides, there's still plenty to enjoy. The wave pool's waves were genuinely some of the largest I've encountered in any hotel-affiliated water park – far surpassing those at a certain family hotel newly opened in Wuhan, which charges double the price! The complimentary use of single and double swim rings is also a thoughtful touch. Finally, I must voice my disappointment regarding the kids' activities. The male staff member in charge showed extremely poor crowd control, leading to an utterly chaotic setup. They seriously need to learn from more competent peers in the industry. For starters, the activity content itself was poorly chosen. Knowing it was a weekend and would be busy, they should have anticipated the crowd and opted for simpler, quicker, and easier-to-manage crafts – something like making a lacquer fan or a TCM sachet, which a group could finish in 5-10 minutes. Instead, they went with the most complicated activity, causing everyone to pile into the room and complain. To top it off, the early start was only announced at the last minute. To make matters worse, they completely disregarded their own rules. Many guests complained that reservations were not honored, and people without reservations were also allowed to join. Even if we overlook the multiple booking groups, the main issue was that anyone who simply ignored the rules could just grab materials and start participating immediately. So, for an activity clearly intended for children, you'd see a family of three: the little boy making two items, his mom making one, and his dad occupying a seat as well. I've been to numerous family hotels where, during off-peak dining hours, they utilize banquet halls for activities, ensuring ample seating for parents to accompany their children at the same table. In situations with limited seating, children typically sit at the activity table while parents use small stools beside them. The priority is always to allow as many children as possible to participate simultaneously, and materials are only distributed to seated kids. I've genuinely never witnessed such disorganization where materials are handed out first, leading to a scramble for seats. What I found most incomprehensible was this: since many parents were waiting, they had their children playing in an adjacent area. One parent controversially took all the toys, preventing other kids from playing, which naturally sparked a heated argument with other parents. The dispute lasted quite a while and escalated. I even had to interject, 'It's getting pretty intense; aren't you going to send someone to de-escalate?' The male staff member simply replied that he was too swamped with people today and wasn't going to get involved. I countered, 'By the time you're free, they might actually be physically fighting!' After a moment's thought, he made a call and summoned another staff member, but offered no guidance or handover. Consequently, the female staff member, completely unaware of the situation, ended up trying to placate a different guest who was complaining about the activity schedule. Meanwhile, the original two parents continued their shouting match for a while longer. 😂 Frankly, if they can't even monitor or control the situation, they are entirely unfit to manage kids' activities. These activities really turned into a major negative point.

Great location and near the train station Jingzhou. I would like to thank the staff Miss Sunny Ye for helping to speed up my check out as my deposit was in cash, and I was rushing for a train. The room service is excellent as well. Shopping mall across the road, plenty of food options and some activities for families. Room ventilation is fantastic.

Hotel located opposite the dock and next to Wanda Plaza which saved us the trouble to get a taxi to move around. We took the cruise from Chongqing, needed to stay 1 night and returned to Chongqing by high speed rail the next day. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Got us a 9 seater vehicle to send us to the railway station. The river view bedroom is spacious. Hotel common area has been renovated, lift lobby marble was polished and corridors with new carpets. Bedroom curtains and armchairs are dark brown velvet which i think are old design, replace it with lighter shade of beige will makes it look more modern. The bathroom floor needs polishing & grouting.

EE0666**** 2025.12.02
The hotel boasts a pleasant environment, situated next to Xiangyang Nanhu Park and adjacent to the city wall. The entire hotel is a three-story building, with Chinese-style landscaping between floors, creating a comfortable atmosphere. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, including Xiangyang specialties like beef noodles, brown sugar cakes, and yellow rice wine. The room facilities are new, but one complaint is that the motion-sensor light in the room malfunctioned late at night. Even when the person was lying still and silent, the light would turn on intermittently, which was quite annoying. I raised this issue with the front desk upon check-out, and the hotel staff were very helpful, offering a small gift as an apology.

We kicked off our Chinese New Year family trip to Wuhan on the first day of the ***** New Year, and it was our first time staying at the Shangri-La Hotel. Overall, it exceeded our expectations. Since we were two adults and two children, we opted for a Horizon Club Executive King Room. We had requested an extra bed beforehand, and the hotel staff promptly provided it free of charge. In the evening, the 20th floor offered a 'Colorful Happy Hour,' which was a much-needed break from our packed itinerary. The stay was truly excellent. Compared to the breakfast on the 20th floor, the breakfast on the first floor had a wider variety of options. The fourth floor also has a swimming pool, gym facilities, and a sauna. A special thank you to the cleaning lady on the 20th floor for her diligent work during the Spring Festival – it's much appreciated! Our Wuhan trip was very satisfying, and we hope the hotel can provide more 'treasure-level' travel guides in the future. We'll definitely consider staying at other Shangri-La hotels in different cities for our upcoming trips.

I booked the Tingtao, which is close to the Donghu Tingtao scenic area. There are several popular restaurants right at the entrance, and it's also very close to the Hubei Provincial Museum, within walking distance. Tingtao is part of a convention center, possibly a new development, and the amenities are excellent. I requested a bathtub and they thoughtfully provided bath bags, along with toiletries from Herborist. Compared to Yi Suo, it completely lacks the landscaping and scenery; it doesn't look like a garden hotel at all. I even wondered if I had come to the wrong place. However, the environment at Yi Suo is truly beautiful. I was thoroughly impressed when I walked past it in the morning. What left the deepest impression was the clear water, tall and neatly arranged trees, especially various types of firs. It's exquisite and uncrowded, definitely worth a visit. During my walk, I discovered several large double-petal hibiscus trees, which were incredibly beautiful. It allowed me to appreciate the beauty of the fragrant herbs of ancient Chu in Hubei. A pleasant surprise!

I rarely leave reviews, but I just had to praise their warmth and excellent service. It was truly great, so attentive! Before booking, I was worried the hotel might be too old, but once inside, their brand service was evident, and everything about the hotel was superb. The breakfast was plentiful and nowhere near as bad as some negative reviews claimed – though perhaps our standards are just lower. If I ever come back to Wuhan, I'd definitely book here again.

The hotel consistently delivers the high standards expected from an IHG property. The front desk service was excellent, and the room was quiet with comfortable amenities. I especially enjoyed the shower and a good night's sleep. What truly sets this hotel apart is its location; just across the street is the Yangtze River, making for a very pleasant walk along the riverbank in the mornings and evenings.

XXiaokuadiqiuHygiene: Very clean, simple decoration, large area of stone, and wooden cabinets are very interesting. Facilities & Environment: The room is not very big, but you can see clean glass, which can be said to be true in the details. In the off-season, there are not many guests, so you can walk around~ The lobby is very beautiful, and there are many places to take pictures! Service: Butler service, anyway, some star-rated hotels are like this. The better points are some experiences I saw when booking the hotel (the teaching of the Taoist master, we learned a few styles of Eight-Section Brocade). The hotel will actively confirm with you whether to participate or not, which is very good! Breakfast: Maybe because of the off-season, when I arrived, I had already interviewed the dishes such as pickles in advance. After a while, there were steamed grains and cereals on the table, and freshly cooked noodles with mixed sauces. Anyway, it felt very good!

BBelitskay TravelA good hotel with excellent service! The staff doesn't speak English, but they are very welcoming and friendly. They helped us with all our questions using a translator. There's a laundry room and a gym on the 16th floor. The only disappointing thing was the cleaning. The rooms are new, but quite dirty. The floor is sticky, and there was ash in the toilet as soon as we checked in, and it wasn't cleaned during our entire stay.

GGuest UserLocated on the 56th floor of Ping An Tower, the hotel offers a dedicated express elevator. The front desk staff were very welcoming and kindly offered free luggage storage. They even called me in advance to explain the best subway exit to use. When I checked out, they gave me a small horse souvenir and a warm drink. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices; I particularly enjoyed the Re Gan Mian (hot dry noodles), Hu Mi Jiu (rice wine soup), and sakura cake. The room was spacious with a great view of the Yangtze River Bridge, and I could even enjoy the light show at night.

GGuest UserThe 270-degree river view from the room was fantastic. We brought our child for a weekend getaway, and the one-night stay included dinner at the executive lounge and breakfast. Downstairs, you have Li Huangpi Road and Hankou River Beach, making it incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and entertainment. It was very easy to bathe the child in winter; I contacted the front desk to let them know we had a child, and they prepared a kids' toiletries set, a step stool, small slippers, and a small bathrobe.

Both check-in and check-out were handled very professionally, thanks to Leo's service. The washing machine also had a dryer function, and the bedding was clean and comfortable. We were even able to get a late check-out. Plus, the surrounding area has convenient transportation. I'll definitely come back next time!

GGuest UserI chose this hotel for my trip, and it's very close to the high-speed train station. The air conditioning/heating in both the lobby and the rooms worked great. The service was excellent, and most importantly, it offered great value for money. The room had all the necessary toiletries, and with a floor-to-ceiling window, it was very quiet. Service responses were prompt. Overall, I'm very satisfied, five stars! I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time.

MM522631****Staying at this hotel was deeply moved by the details. The bedding was really comfortable, and the fatigue of business trips was all dissipated at the moment of lying down. The constant temperature shower in the bathroom is too understanding to hit workers, so you don't have to repeatedly adjust the water temperature, and wash away your fatigue comfortably. The cleaning aunt cleaned it very carefully, the tabletop floor was spotless, and even the water stains on the sink were cleaned. The greetings at the front desk were warm and not deliberate, and the mineral water was intimately handed over when checking out. There is no fancy stunt, but the comfort and intimateness are the ultimate, this is what travel accommodation should look like, I really recommend it to every traveler.

JJchen1This hotel is extremely convenient, being very close to the airport, which made our travel much easier. At the beginning of our stay there were a few issues and we had to change rooms twice, but the customer service was excellent throughout. The staff were patient, responsive, and genuinely helpful in resolving everything quickly. The amenities were a big plus the gym was well-equipped, and the free laundry service was very convenient. Breakfast was also a highlight, with a very good buffet offering plenty of options. Overall, despite the initial hiccups, the great service and facilities made this a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Would happily stay again.

EEthan Matthew HuntI came from Canada due to my business trip, this is absolutely A Hidden Gem That Outshines Even the Hilton Below! I had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Wuhan Hanyang Beike Hotel—this place is a masterpiece of modern hospitality. If you’re looking for luxury without breaking the bank, look no further. Let’s start with the view: from my room, I had a breathtaking panorama of the Yangtze River, with a front-row seat to Wuhan’s cyberpunk-style skyline. The glowing bridges—including the Yingwuzhou Yangtze River Bridge, Yangsigang Bridge, and Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge—light up the night like something out of a sci-fi movie. To top it off, you can even spot the historic Yellow Crane Tower, blending the ancient with the ultramodern in a way that’s visually stunning and emotionally moving. The interior design of the hotel is unbelievably sleek and luxurious—we’re talking five-star finishes, modern lighting, spotless wood flooring, elegant furniture, and a spa-like bathroom that feels straight out of a high-end design magazine. It’s the kind of place that makes you stop and say, “Wow,” the moment you walk in. I’ve stayed at the Hilton, located just downstairs, and while it’s fine, Beike Hotel blows it out of the water in terms of value, design, and overall experience. You’re getting a top-tier, modern boutique stay at a fraction of the cost. The staff, especially the warm and professional Ms. Liu, were incredibly helpful, attentive, and kind—service was impeccable. If you’re a traveler who appreciates unique experiences, luxury on a budget, and a fusion of futuristic style with rich cultural heritage, this is THE hotel to book in Wuhan. I can’t recommend it enough. I will definitely return, and when I do, I won’t even consider staying anywhere else.
