Choosing this guesthouse in Wuzhen was absolutely the right decision! The view of the Jiangnan water town scenery right outside our window was fantastic. The room was spotless, neatly arranged, and thoughtfully equipped with a mosquito net, so we didn't have to worry about bugs at all. We had such a comfortable and peaceful stay. We'll definitely choose this place again next time we visit.

My girlfriend always wanted to go to Hangzhou, so after a lot of deliberation, we decided to book flights. When my girlfriend and I pick a hotel for our trips, we're pretty picky. Bad soundproofing? Pass. Not clean enough? Pass. For me, as a guy, anywhere is fine – it's just a place to sleep. But considering my girlfriend's safety, finding a hotel that's both clean and affordable is quite a challenge. We considered guesthouses and big-brand hotels, but the prices near West Lake totally put me off. Finding an affordable hotel with comfortable rooms seemed almost impossible. After a lot of searching, my girlfriend and I finally found this hotel. I read a lot of reviews for various hotels, with many complaining about this and that. But this one had tons of good reviews and very few bad ones. I just hoped we wouldn't encounter any issues during our stay. The best part, especially for those flying into Hangzhou, is that this hotel offers a paid airport pick-up service, and it even covers highway tolls. The price was lower than any I found online, which was a major reason for choosing it. After checking in and getting to our room, I did notice a smoky smell. I immediately contacted the front desk, and I have to say, their service was incredibly efficient. Less than two minutes after my call, a young man from the front desk came up to our room. He kept apologizing, explaining that the hotel is non-smoking throughout and that our feedback suggested the previous guest might have smoked, and the smell hadn't dissipated quickly enough. Hearing our feedback, they immediately offered us a new room. For my girlfriend and me, hearing that completely changed our mood; any small issues with the hotel suddenly didn't seem like a big deal anymore. The bed in the new room was also very clean. Although we brought our own sheets and duvet covers to put on, the hotel's bedding was still very clean – just as I expected from the reviews. We happily settled into the room, dropped off our luggage, and went out to experience the local food and culture. Back at the hotel, they also have a washing machine and a gym. The gym only had treadmills, so I even went to the front desk to ask why. The lady at the front desk explained that because children might stay at the hotel, placing dumbbells or similar equipment could lead to injuries for the kids. I instantly understood. It really goes to show that you have to patiently and carefully search for good hotels, and you only truly know after experiencing them.

The rooms are built into the mountain, and the water supply and everything else are quite good. The hotel provides electric mosquito coils, and once plugged in, there are no mosquitoes. What's worth mentioning is their excellent ecological environment. We stumbled upon squirrel monkeys while wandering around. We initially thought they were let out at specific times, but it turns out they are free-roaming within the hotel grounds. They keep a respectful distance from people but aren't afraid. The staff in other areas also have a great relationship with the animals; even though they're just cattle and horses, everyone coexists harmoniously. The only thing is that the age requirement for the advanced jungle outdoor activities is too high. Could it be lowered a bit?

The Marco Polo brand speaks for itself; we frequently stayed at Marco Polo hotels during business trips to Shenzhen, as they were our preferred corporate hotels, and we always had a comfortable stay. This Marco Polo is no exception. Although it's a bit older, the facilities and amenities are still great, and even the shampoo and shower gel are branded. My only complaint is about the front desk service. We arrived quite late on the night of check-in, and there were two male staff members on duty. We couldn't get any of our requests fulfilled. We wanted to change rooms because we were traveling with elderly people and children. If the hotel is fully booked, just say so directly and politely. Instead, one of the male front desk agents took over from the one checking me in and repeatedly emphasized that I booked a promotional rate room, and therefore couldn't change or cancel it. He said ”you booked a special rate room” several times. What's with the disdain for guests who book special rates? Do guests who book special rates deserve to be treated differently? If so, then don't offer such packages. I even mentioned that our company has a corporate agreement with the hotel and that I'm a frequent guest, but he just dismissed it, saying it was irrelevant. It left a really bad taste in my mouth. While the hotel itself is good, I have to give a bad rating to the service provided by your male front desk staff.

A new hotel that is very clean and conveniently located. Services is acceptable, and the hotel is within walking distance (about 10 minutes) to Airport Terminal 4. Positive point: Housekeeping is proactive and impressive. Even without being requested, the hotel immediately provided extra blankets, towels, toothbrush, and slippers when they noticed more than two guests checking into one room. Areas for improvement: There are no self-service laundry facilities (washing machines, dryer). The corridor is carpeted, which makes it difficult to push luggage with wheels. Breakfast starts only at 7:00 AM. For early departures, the hotel provides a simple takeaway set (2 slices of bread, 1 tetra-pack milk, and 1 pcs of fruit). Food/parcel delivery is not sent to the room by robot; counter informed that.their policy is guests must go to a designated collection area (near to counter )to pick up their orders. We stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton for a self-driving trip during the National Day holiday. Parking was convenient and free, the service was warm, and the accommodations were comfortable. We were extremely satisfied. The hotel is very close to historical and cultural attractions like Quzhou Ancient City Wall, Shuijingmen Scenic Area, Kong Family Temple of the Southern Branch, and Quzhou Museum. We went exploring in the evening, and the ancient city was bustling with activity – it was fantastic!

This time I came to Long to play, I really chose this hotel! The location is particularly good, it is convenient to go shopping and eat. It is very close to RT-Mart and Oriental Commercial Building. It is also very convenient to go to Longyou Grottoes and Minjuyuan. It is super worry-free to travel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with thoughtful details, and the balcony design prioritizes privacy. The hotel opened in August 2021 and is located right next to Nanhu Lake, with two small card-access gates that lead directly to the Nanhu walking trail. The service at the hotel is exceptional; every staff member you encounter greets you with a smile and is ready to assist with any questions.

The hotel is very clean. Right outside on the main road, there are plenty of open-air barbecue stalls. They stay open until 4:00 AM, so you never have to worry about getting hungry. The airport transfer can be booked in advance, which is super convenient.
