a break down on the flixtrain due to bad weather has left us stranded in Bielefeld. So the location was very good as it is directly beside the Bahnhof. Price got jacked up due to last minute booking, otherwise 89€ for a good night sleep is still worth it. Was very surprised that the room was newly built and furnished. Super clean and still smell of fresh paint. Bed was a bit too stiff but the duvet and pillow was perfect. Could provide a few more amenities, like toothbrush and such, but I guess its okay.
Had a lovely stay, the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. We requested a room close to the elevator and they gave us a spacious one just as we asked.
The location is fantastic, especially if you're visiting during the Christmas market season; everything is within walking distance.
The only downsides were the weak internet connection, so it’s better to have your own data plan if you rely on being online, and bed sheets are only changed upon request.
Overall, still a pleasant experience and would recommend for the location, helpful staff and lovely spacious rooms!
This hotel is good value for money and located right at the highway exit to Troisdorf. Is was a quiet night and effortless check-out.
Where it lacks are the basic amenities, like a bar and a restaurant, with guests having to resort to vending machines for the most basic end-of-day necessites.
Also, the rooms and corridors could use a fresh coat of paint and the entire hotel would benefit from an overall refurbishment.
The room was predictably small. When I first arrived, the white door wasn't opening, and I wasn't sure how to get in! 😂 Turns out, the door right next to it just pushed open.
The breakfast was nothing special either, just cereal, milk, bread, and various cheeses.
The location is quite convenient for the train station, making transfers easy.
I think for Chinese travelers, this would generally be considered a very ordinary hotel. In China, hotels nowadays usually have pretty good decor and a modern feel, whereas European hotels are generally smaller and older.
Good hotel, everything was clean and nice. Bed was very comfortable for me. Staff was great. Only thing that bothered me was that the breakfast was amazing on the first morning of my stay, but then a bit disappointing after - a staple like bacon was missing, there was no fried eggs, and I highly preferred the potato croquettes over the potato wedges.
I couldn't store my luggage before check-in. The corridor was always dark and scary. The shower room was clean, although it was difficult to use due to poor drainage. Breakfast was substantial.
It is a great location for a business trip, quiet, clean, and comfortable. I recommend it as the best stay for a solo stay. It was convenient because it had cooking utensils and an induction stove so I could have a simple meal.
Similar to my previous review, the main issue was with the housekeeping staff, which is why the service score dropped. On the last day during check-out, the front desk manager even asked me about my experience. I told her that was the main problem, and she said they take it very seriously and would investigate and make improvements. Overall, I'm satisfied!

KKuantwVery close to the station. For late check-in, you need to contact the hotel in advance to get the access code and key. The room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The hot water was okay, but it would be better if it were a bit hotter. It was really good value for money with the discount! Perfect for a layover.
MMutongtadieAbout 1 kilometer from Cologne Cathedral, the view is also fantastic. It's located right on the Rhine River, and walking along the river offers beautiful scenery. There are tons of dining options nearby, an absolute feast for the eyes.
GGuest UserExcellent room, service, breakfast and location. Go ahead, fabulous choice in accommodation. Cannot believe how spacious this hotel was compared to the Marriott hotels I stayed in previously.
__WeChat228080****The hotel I stayed in during my time in Cologne was generally a decent, practical choice, with no major flaws, but also a few surprises. The location was convenient, about a five-minute walk from the nearby bus stop. Tourist attractions like Cologne Cathedral and the Old Town are easily accessible by public transportation or taxi. Small supermarkets and small eateries are nearby, making daily groceries and meals convenient. The room was of moderate size, spacious enough for a single occupancy but a bit cramped for a double. The furniture and furnishings showed some signs of use, but were generally clean and tidy, and the bedding was perfectly soft, ensuring a pleasant sleep. The bathroom had a nice, dry/wet area with a reliable hot water supply. The toiletries were basic, but those with skincare needs are advised to bring their own. Regarding service, the front desk staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful. Check-in and check-out were both prompt and helpful. They patiently answered questions about directions to attractions, but they didn't proactively offer any extra touches (such as local recommendations or extended luggage storage). Breakfast is a simple buffet with basic items like bread, ham, eggs, coffee, and juice. The taste is quite satisfactory and can satisfy your hunger, but those who seek a richer meal may find it a bit monotonous. Overall, if you are looking for convenient travel in Cologne and a good value accommodation, this hotel meets basic needs and is suitable for travelers who value practicality over luxury.
NncsduThe hotel was okay overall. I checked in quite late at night, and there was no staff present for manual check-in, so I had to use the self-service machine. It was very slow, and the machine even had issues. The room was tidy and clean, but there was no bottled water, toothbrush, or toothpaste. The front desk was unstaffed, so the service was a bit lacking.
TThasupakorn RokrungrojNice room, have locker for keeping lugaage, smooth check-in with deposit €30 per day, great location, good breakfast. The bedsheets and blanket were not changed during my 4-day stay.
GGuest UserVery conveniently situated next to the train station and the main street. Rooms are clean and practical, breakfast is pretty good. We stayed with our 2 year old, which came for free. We had to bring our own travel cot but the room was specious enough to put the cot.
BBenjamin FreemanI've been here a few times now and it's the only hotel I'll stay at, it's very very nice the staff are great very welcoming. The room was nice and cosy bed super comfortable.
GGuest UserThe maid and the young guy at the reception are so kind with their great service mind but the rest are un-helpful. We book the family room but our building (4) has no lift. We have to carry our big bag down the stair.
