The hotel is new and the restaurant is excellent. There is a shuttle bus from the hotel every half hour. There is a self-service ticket check-in machine in the lobby, which is quite user-friendly. The scenery is pleasant and the feeling is pleasant. There is a Hertz car rental station in the lobby, but the prices are better online. Car pickup and drop-off are at the hotel.

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and both times it's been great. The room isn't large, but it has everything you need; the facilities are complete, and the bed is big and comfortable. The weather in Quito is lovely right now, and Carolina Park isn't far from the hotel.

The staff were very pleasant n helpful especially the Front Office n in the Restaurant. Breakfast was excellent. We also had dinner there and had top quality food. You can’t ask for a better location. Our room was outstanding, spacious with a lovely balcony. Thank you to all the staff had made our stay a memorable one.

Excellent apartments 10 minutes walk from the Carolina Park and shopping malls. The apartments are equipped with everything necessary. The owner is always in touch and is ready to help with any questions

Absolute five-star praise, 15 minutes from the airport, 40 minutes from the city, the hotel will pick up and drop off the plane for free. The hotel is located in the suburbs and the surrounding environment is excellent. The garden in the hotel is a bird watching holy place with more than 30 kinds of rare birds. Hotel facilities are good, service is good, suitable for business travel, meetings.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Absolutely Outstanding Stay at Hotel Villa Lafayette! My stay at Hotel Villa Lafayette was nothing short of exceptional. It’s by far the cleanest hotel in all of Ecuador—absolutely spotless in every corner. The entire property is beautifully maintained, quiet, and filled with elegant touches that make it feel both luxurious and welcoming. The staff were outstanding—warm, attentive, and truly professional. They offered excellent local recommendations and always treated me with kindness and care. The location is ideal—tucked in a peaceful part of La Mariscal, just a short walk from Plaza Foch and some of Quito’s best restaurants and shops. My room was quiet, stylish, and very comfortable, with a serene garden view that made me feel instantly relaxed. Breakfast each morning was fresh, generous, and thoughtfully prepared. The entire experience felt safe, polished, and perfectly cared for. If you’re looking for elegance, cleanliness, and world-class service, Hotel Villa Lafayette is simply the best choice in Ecuador. I would return in a heartbeat!

The service and care I received from Old town suites Quito is the best that I ever received for all the hotels I have stayed. My flight arrived at Quito in the early morning around 6:40am, I got to the hotel around 7:40am, hotel front desk employee Francisco took my luggages, provided me power cord to charge my phone, and even gave me a delicious breakfast. I felt I have been welcomed into my new home in Quito. The hotel provided milk, yogurt, bread, juice, cheese, eggs, ham, vegetables and fruits for making breakfast yourself or you can tell them ahead of time and they can prepare breakfast for you. I have had amazing experience in this hotel. The hotel location is great and you can walk to old town attractions. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Quito.

I stayed at ibis Hotel Quito for a three nights and really enjoyed my time there. The hotel is clean, modern, and in a super convenient location — close to restaurants, shops, and easy access to main attractions around the city. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions or give local tips. My room was comfortable and had everything I needed — comfy bed, good Wi-Fi, and hot shower (which I really appreciated after a long day out!). Breakfast was tasty with plenty of options, and the coffee was great too. The hotel also felt very safe, which made my stay even more relaxing. Overall, it was a great experience — simple, comfortable, and excellent value for money. I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m in Quito

The reason I booked this hotel was because of the superb reviews. I can confirm the accuracy of those reviews. This is a fabulous place to stay. The staff are great. The facilities are exceptional. The restaurant is wonderful and has such a variety of delicious food. The health pool has crystal clear water. My room was much larger than what I'm used to over the last five weeks of traveling. It is easy to get the concierge to book excursions. There are airline check-in machines in the foyer. This is easily the best hotel I have stayed in over the past five weeks and comes with my highest recommendation.

Outstanding
Good location - able to do birdwatching in the morning and afternoon from the hotel (we saw a toucan, hummingbirds, tanagers, flycatchers, and egrets). Did a separate birdwatching tour which was amazing. The hotel is a short taxi to the town and cable car for the waterfalls (which is recommended). The breakfast was tasty, the restaurant for dinner was great with a beautiful view too. Marco was the best! He gave good advice for our daily itinerary that made sure we got the most out of our time in Mindo. We’re very happy with our stay and choice of hotel.

Breakfast was tasty and with a beautiful view. Our room was one of the nicest rooms that’s we’ve stayed in while travelling South America. It was the comfiest bed and the room had a well-designed interior. The staff are friendly and welcoming. At night it’s recommended to get taxis to where you need to go while in the day it’s fine to walk around this unesco world heritage site area. 100% recommend to stay here for a few nights if you have time.

That said, the view from the upper floors is fantastic and definitely a highlight of the stay. Additionally, the breakfast was quite good, with a decent variety and tasty options. Overall, the experience was pleasant, but upgrading the facilities and decor would significantly improve the stay.
