The hotel boasts an excellent location, being a long-established local establishment next to temples and markets. The travel agency recommended by the hotel is reliable, and Luxor's office is also located within the hotel grounds. The chartered vehicles are easily identifiable by their company logo. The drivers are polite but still expect tips. (Tour prices are reasonable and don't overcharge.) The hotel restaurant is delicious. Overall, it's a decent hotel from Luxor. Cons: The rooms are small; the hot water is inconsistent; the towels smell of smoke, but this is common in Egyptian hotels.

This resort was AMAZING! 5/5! What a true gem. The hotel staff are incredible and upgraded my room to a Nile view. The management really know how to treat you and make you feel special. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and the pool was the perfect place to unwind after a long hot day in the Egyptian sun. Not to mention the amazing sunsets! Highly recommend this hotel

There was a computer issue so check in took longer than usual. Only stayed one night. The room was great. Very clean. Breakfast buffet was really good too. Location is great. Not a far walk to Luxor temple, the bazaar and restaurants. A great mini mart across the street with actual prices on items. The prices were better than buying at small shops. The guy at the front desk Mustafa was really amazing. He was so kind and helpful. I'd stay at Temple Hotel again.

Let's start with the positives: The environment is excellent, right by the Nile River. The swimming pool is large, with two sections offering spacious surroundings. It's very close to the city center, just a 1 km carriage ride away. Most rooms seem to offer direct or partial views of the Nile. We initially had a triple room, then switched to a junior suite with two balconies. The staff were very genuine and keen to make us feel welcome. The transportation department in the lobby was very responsible. The hotel restaurant staff even remembered us and frequently greeted us. The hotel restaurant has ample space, so it never feels crowded. We ate at the Italian restaurant twice and were able to order some Chinese dishes from the adjacent bar, which was a nice touch. The ambiance was great, the prices fair, and the food delicious. The hot water in the room was plentiful, making for a comfortable shower. Now for the drawbacks: The room facilities are noticeably outdated and in urgent need of an upgrade. Upon check-in, it was a bit off-putting, but I gradually understood after adjusting my mindset. I completely forgot about the soaring prices. I noticed a row of white buildings at the hotel that were almost renovated, which should be nice in the future. When checking out, the front desk asked for my feedback, and I told them exactly this. Overall, Luxor tourism is recovering, and I hope more investment comes in.

I must say that the hotel is really clean and warm, and you can sit down and make breakfast for us even if you haven't had breakfast yet. Although the location is a bit remote, the whole courtyard is really warm and clean, and the staff are very polite and professional. There are boys sweeping the floor every day, and they will stop when they see guests passing by, and continue after they pass by. It is really a thoughtful hotel.

The water around the room was relatively clean and I didn't particularly care about it personally. Since it is located on the west bank side, it is recommended to stay on the east bank side if you are sightseeing in the east bank main, but I think it is good here if you are sightseeing on the west bank side ◎ The local ferry terminal is nearby, and you can walk less than 2 km from the ferry terminal on the east river bank side to the Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple. The view from the restaurant on the rooftop is great and you can see it forever. The food is delicious too! Above all, the staff were very kind and I liked it very much ☺️

The location is fantastic, directly facing the Nile. You get a direct view of the feluccas on the river and the hot air balloons on the opposite bank. Local drivers and carriage drivers all know this spot, and it's not far from the pier or Luxor Temple. The hotel is a bit old, and the facilities are also dated, but everything is functional and doesn't detract from the experience – it actually suits the ancient charm of the area. The hotel service is decent, though check-in can be slow, often taking over half an hour. The room size is comparable to a budget hotel in China, not a high-end hotel, which might impact your experience. However, the balcony is beautiful. It's lovely to sit there, enjoy the stunning view opposite, and have a drink. Breakfast is just average, nothing special.

The Steigenberger Nile Palace Luxor Hotel & Spa, while showing its age, still hints at its past grandeur. The rooms are incredibly spacious and very comfortable, with good amenities – even the TV is a Japanese LG brand. The laundry service is reasonably priced, which is a big plus for long-term travelers. Breakfast offers a decent variety, enough to meet daily needs. The hotel's location is convenient, within walking distance of Luxor Temple, making it easy for sightseeing and getting around. Overall, it offers good value for money.

Steigenberger Resort Luxor | My Honest Review 🌴 My stay at the Steigenberger Resort Luxor was, overall, very pleasant and offered great value for money. The hotel's general ambiance is excellent; the public areas are well-maintained, and the garden, pool, and the atmosphere by the Nile are all very comfortable. For a five-star hotel in Luxor, I believe its overall facilities and environment are quite competitive. The room was comfortable and clean. Although some of the facilities show their age, they are still well-maintained. The hotel's location is also quite convenient, saving time when visiting attractions like Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple. I also tried the hotel's Lebanese restaurant. The dishes were generally good, but one shrimp dish was quite disappointing. The texture of the shrimp was noticeably tough and dry after grilling, with almost no juice. It didn't live up to the standard I'd expect from a five-star hotel restaurant at that price point. I don't have an issue with using frozen shrimp per se, but the key is that the final quality didn't match the price. I reported this issue to the restaurant manager at the time, but the subsequent resolution wasn't entirely satisfactory. Given that the restaurant is not cheap and positions itself as a five-star hotel restaurant, I believe guests are willing to pay more for the ambiance and service, but they should also receive ingredient quality and culinary expertise that match the price. However, I must give special praise to the waiter, Abdallah. His service attitude throughout the meal was excellent – enthusiastic, polite, and very patient. Even after we reported the issue with the dish, he maintained his excellent service, which prevented the overall dining experience from becoming terrible because of that one dish. His service truly deserves commendation. 👏 Putting aside the minor hiccup at the restaurant, the hotel's stay experience itself was very good. With its pleasant environment, comprehensive facilities, and great value for money, it remains a hotel I would highly recommend in Luxor. I hope the hotel will pay more attention to the quality of its dining and the details of customer complaint handling in the future, and also acknowledge employees like Abdallah who diligently serve guests. This would make the overall experience even more complete. 🌅

My girlfriend and I stayed here together. The hotel was very clean and the staff were all incredibly friendly. The location is also excellent; you can walk to Luxor Temple at night. What's more, the Nile River is right in front of the hotel, and watching the sunset over the Nile from the hotel garden was absolutely beautiful. Among all the hotels I stayed at in Egypt, this one had the best breakfast, which I was very happy about. Highly recommended!
