Pikka Floating Market and the Great Luang Por Pan
Wat Pikka, also known as Wat Pan Prasittharam, is located along the Pikka Canal, which borders two provinces: Bang Pakong District in Chachoengsao Province and Bang Bo District in Samut Prakan Province. The temple was initiated by Mr. Choei Khun Jeng and Mr. Sang Mi Sang on May 19, 1932. Initially, it was named 'Wat Pikka' but was later changed to 'Wat Pan Prasittharam' on May 14, 1956. This temple was built as a memorial to Luang Por Pan, inspiring faith among the people. Additionally, there is a small riverside market that stands out for selling community products. This market is a notable tourist attraction with a serene riverside atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly people, making it an ideal spot for short holiday visits. The Pikka Market is not open every day; it operates every Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Long-term parking
Last New Year's long weekend, we had a flight leaving Suvarnabhumi Airport. So we wanted to try parking our car in a long-term parking lot instead of taking a taxi or parking on the building, which costs 250 baht per day.
But the long-term parking lot costs only 140 baht per day. However, it is located near the public transport center, which is far from the passenger terminal. We need to leave about 20-30 minutes in advance to move ourselves and our luggage from the parking lot to the passenger terminal. This is good for some flights when we have a little time, but if we are in a hurry, it is not recommended.
This place can accommodate 1,341 cars, so there will definitely be parking if we drive around looking for it. But for us, we didn't drive around. When we arrived, we found a parking spot easily. The steps are to get a ticket from the entrance booth and keep the ticket with you. Do not keep it in the car. You can return it when you drive the car out and pay for the parking period.
The long-term parking lot, Zone A, has a roof and is quite convenient because the shuttle bus stop is nearby. It is easy to walk to get on the bus. While the long-term parking lot, Zone C, which is next door, does not have a roof. But during long holidays, they like to open for free parking. If we park during the free days, we will get a discount, which is an exemption from parking fees only on the free days.
In a year, Thailand has quite a lot of long holidays. Therefore, the free parking period of long-term parking in Zone C is quite frequent. You can check on the AOT Official page, Suvarnabhumi Airport page, or the ticket promotion page, various travel pages.
In terms of safety, there are officers on duty 24 hours a day. We think it is quite safe.
The shuttle bus is free all the time and the wait is not long. There is space for small or large suitcases on the bus. It looks like an air-conditioned bus. The atmosphere of taking the shuttle bus in the early morning, we will see employees from various positions in the airport getting on the bus and going down to various buildings. It is quite fun. We will also see security guards queuing up to prepare to go to work. We will see groups of flight attendants dragging their bags, preparing to fly.
Next trip, if you have time and are not in a rush, try using the long-term parking lot at Suvarnabhumi Airport.

🍰 When the plane is delayed, the first thing to do is find something to eat. Eating is a big deal. 😋 Walking around and around, I found a colorful restaurant with a cute name: "Kanom Cafe".
🍰 Kanom Cafe has both savory and sweet dishes. Most of them are Thai dishes. The taste is not too strong. It's like they're made for foreigners. But the taste and quality are really delicious. I can't say it's true.
🍰 The shop is located on the 3rd floor of Suvarnabhumi Airport, opposite Starbucks. The shop is bright yellow and very easy to find.
🍰 Recommended menu items: Shrimp fried rice, Chicken Khao Soi, Mushroom pie, Fresh coffee

Thai Food Experience in Mega Bang Na
Through my one and a half years of living in Thailand, I have tried tons of Thai food from street food strolls and from restaurants but this one really stood out the most. I went there with my friends for dinner and every single dish we had that night was really delicious.
If you want to try some good Thai food while you are in Bang Na, definitely a worth place to check out.
It is also located in the big shopping mall, so it would be a worthwhile experience to come out of Bangkok and spend an evening here.

Today we are traveling to Jakarta. So, we took the opportunity to use the privileges of Kasikornbank Platinum credit card that allows cardholders to use the Miracle Lounge at Suvarnabhumi Airport 2 times per year when flying with Thai Airways.
This is a lounge for passengers before boarding the plane. Inside, there are seating areas, a living room with many corners to choose from, a restaurant, serving a variety of food and drinks. This lounge does not specify which airline it belongs to. Those who are members of credit cards, debit cards, priority pass cards, or participating Lounge Key cards can use the services according to the specified privileges without additional charges. Or for general passengers, if you want to use the service, you can pay per time as well.

When you arrive at Suvarnabhumi, check in to First Class or Business Class.
1. The first thing you will receive is Fast Tracking. You can check in to the gate and immigration on the ground floor. You don't have to waste time going up the escalator to the upper floor.
2. The second thing is that you can go to the Lounge to eat and relax before boarding the plane. There are many Lounges (depending on the airline's service).
This time, I went to the Miracle Lounge, which is located opposite Gate D5. If I remember correctly, there are 2 Lounges, divided into First Class and Business Class.
Inside the Miracle Lounge, there are seats for you on both the left and right wings.
I chose a seat around here. There were quite a few people using the service that night. The cleaning lady didn't have time to clean it, so it might be a bit dirty. If you want to recommend, sit on the right wing of the Lounge. It looks quiet, but it's a bit far from the food line. There is a mini bar to get a little tipsy before boarding the plane.
The food line is general. Various fried rice, sausages, scrambled eggs, salad, bread, and general basic food. But what I would recommend is the Pancake. It's soft and delicious. Press it through the pancake machine and it comes out in 1 minute. Let's queue up a bit. Don't forget to spread butter and drizzle syrup. It's so awesome!
