Welcome to Mallorca, Spain—the ultimate Mediterranean getaway! From emerald-green cliffside beaches to fairytale mountain towns and mystical underground caves, we're sharing the top 5 must-visit spots in Mallorca, along with our highly recommended itinerary. 🌴✨ 📍 1. Catedral de Mallorca (Palma Cathedral) Features: Mallorca's iconic Gothic cathedral standing majestically right by the sea! Highlights: The rainbow-colored sunlight streaming through the massive stained glass windows, and snapping the shot of a lifetime at Parc de la Mar, the lake park right in front of the cathedral. 📸 📍 2. Cala Pi & Cala Llombards Features: Emerald cliffside beaches (Calas) nestled in southeastern Mallorca. Highlights: A secret sea hidden between sheer cliffs! The view from above is absolutely spectacular, and snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters is an absolute must. 🤿 📍 3. Valldemossa & Deià Features: Tranquil villages tucked away in the Tramuntana mountains, beloved by composer Chopin and countless artists. Highlights: Strolling through charming alleyways lined with stone walls and overflowing flower pots! Kick back and relax with a slice of almond cake and a cup of coffee on a quaint cafe terrace. ☕🌸 📍 4. Sóller & Port de Sóller Features: A town filled with the sweet scent of oranges and a romantic harbor accessed by a vintage wooden tram. Highlights: A picture-perfect journey riding the iconic orange wooden tram through lush orange groves all the way down to the picturesque coastal port. 🍊🚋 📍 5. Cuevas del Drach & Porto Cristo Features: Home to one of the world's largest underground lakes and a peaceful eastern port town. Highlights: Experiencing a live classical music concert on an underground lake surrounded by mystical stalactites, followed by a delicious seafood paella at the nearby Porto Cristo harbor, just a 3-minute drive away. 🎻🥘 🗓️ Recommended 3-Night, 4-Day Itinerary Summary Day 1: Downtown Palma (Catedral de Mallorca & Old Town) Day 2: Eastern Exploration (Cuevas del Drach ➡️ Porto Cristo ➡️ Cala Llombards or Cala Pi) Day 3: Northwestern Mountain Towns (Valldemossa ➡️ Deià ➡️ Sóller Wooden Tram & Port de Sóller) Day 4: R&R at a central rural farmhouse & last-minute shopping before departure 💡 Editor's Tip 1️⃣ Transportation: Renting a car is highly recommended to freely explore the island's hidden beaches and charming small towns. 🚗 2️⃣ Agroturismo (Farmhouse) Experience: Skip the city hotel for at least one night and stay at a traditional rural farmhouse! Surround yourself with olive groves and grazing sheep to truly experience the romance of the Mediterranean countryside. 🐑🌿 3️⃣ Essentials: Since many beaches are pebbly or rocky, water shoes, a beach towel, and sun protection (sunglasses and sunscreen) are absolute must-haves.

Cuevas del Drach (Drach Caves) in Palma de Mallorca is an absolute "magical fusion of light, music, and nature". Located near Porto Cristo, the Drach Caves consist of four massive interconnected caves. Stretching over 1.2 kilometers long and reaching depths of up to 25 meters, it is one of Europe's most famous stalactite caves and boasts one of the largest underground lakes in the world—Lake Martel. When the music and lights resonate through these ancient subterranean rocks, you'll truly understand what the "Echo of the Earth" means. ✨ The Highlight: Lake Martel Underground Concert Experience This is the very soul of the Drach Caves. As you venture deeper into the caverns, the light slowly fades, revealing a colossal natural amphitheater right before your eyes. Step-by-step breakdown: 1. Seating and Vibe (approx. 40 minutes into the cave): Following a mysterious winding path to Lake Martel, you'll find rows of wooden benches lined up along the water's edge. The staff will quietly guide everyone to their seats. With only a faint ambient glow remaining, the air buzzes with anticipation. 2. Lights Out and Music On (approx. 10-15 minutes): The concert itself lasts about 15 minutes. Once the crowd settles, the final overhead lights are cut, plunging the cavern into total darkness. Out of nowhere, the soothing melodies of a cello and piano drift across the glassy surface of the lake. 3. The Dance of Light and Shadow (Boats and Music): As your eyes adjust to the pitch black, you'll spot a few small wooden boats slowly gliding in from a distance. Bathed in soft, twinkling lights, the live musicians on board perform timeless classical masterpieces by greats like Chopin and Offenbach. 4. Visual Climax and Resonance: Swelling with the music, the stalactites clinging to the cave ceiling are illuminated by soft, shifting hues of purple, blue, and orange. The dancing lights reflect off the serene water, harmonizing perfectly with the enchanting tunes to create an otherworldly resonance within this ten-thousand-year-old cavern. 5. The Finale: Once the performance wraps up, the boats gently float away into the distance, and the main lights slowly come back on. 6. Optional: Underground Boat Ride (Post-Concert): After the show, you can queue up to hop on a small rowboat. A boatman will paddle you across a short stretch of Lake Martel, letting you experience firsthand what it's like to sail on a prehistoric underground lake. 🚗 Getting There From Palma de Mallorca: · By Car: Take the Ma-15 highway. The trip is about 65 kilometers and takes roughly 1 hour. There's a massive free parking lot right outside the caves. · By Bus: Catch the T3 bus (heading towards Porto Cristo) from Plaça d'Espanya (TIB Intermodal Station) in Palma. The bus drops you off right near the entrance of the Drach Caves, and the ride takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. 💡 Handy Tips · Book Your Time Slot in Advance: The Drach Caves are incredibly popular and use a timed-entry reservation system. It is highly recommended to book your tickets on the official website at least 1-2 days ahead of time. Make sure you show up for your specific time slot, or your ticket will be void. · Cave Temperature: The caves maintain a steady temperature of around 17-18°C (62-64°F) year-round. It's noticeably cooler than the summer heat outside, so bringing a light jacket is a smart move. · Wear Non-Slip Shoes: The humidity inside makes the paths pretty slick. A good pair of non-slip sneakers is highly recommended. · Photography Rules: To keep the underground theater vibe magical and respect the performers, flash photography and video recording are strictly prohibited during the concert. You can usually snap photos of the scenery, but please be sure to respect the on-site atmosphere.

Chopin said, "I have found my dream Mediterranean." And he never left again. 🛫 Day 1: Palma Cathedral and Old Town 🌅 Arrive in Palma by plane from Barcelona or Madrid early morning (about 1-1.5 hours). Take a taxi straight from the airport to Palma Cathedral (La Seu), a Gothic-style ocean version, with renovations by Gaudí. The cathedral’s rose window is called the "Gothic Eye." At noon, sunlight streams through, casting colorful beams across the hall, like God descending. Next door is the Almudaina Palace, the summer residence of the Kings of Mallorca. 🍽️ At noon, dive into the Olivar Market in the old town, start with fresh oysters and sparkling wine, and share a paella for two. In the afternoon, stroll the cobblestone alleys of the old town, visit the Arab Baths—the only remaining Islamic relic—and enjoy coffee at Plaza Mayor while watching street performers. 🌃 At dusk, head to Bellver Castle, the only circular castle in Europe, perched on a hilltop. Watch the sunset over Palma Bay as the whole city is bathed in golden light. 🌊 Day 2: Northwest Coast - The Most Beautiful Driving Route 🌞 Rent a car in the morning and drive north along the Ma-10 road, one of Europe’s most beautiful coastal roads. First stop: Sóller, where a century-old wooden tram clatters from the port to the town. Valldemossa is the winter village of Chopin and George Sand; his piano remains in the monastery garden. 🍽️ For lunch, dine at C’an Costa next to Chopin’s former home—roast suckling pig and local sweet wine are must-tries. 🌊 In the afternoon, arrive at Formentor, the northwesternmost seaside town on the map. Climb the cliffs to see Sa Foradada, the "Pierced Rock." At sunset, the sun shines through the rock hole, and sailboats draw golden lines on the sea. 🚤 Day 3: Southeast Coast - Jelly Sea and Trendy Beaches 🌞 Head to Colònia de Sant Jordi in the morning, Mallorca’s most rustic seaside town. Take a boat to explore "Turkish Blue" (Caló des Moro), where the jelly-like sea is unrealistically blue. Nearby, "Witch Beach" (Cala Macarella) is surrounded by pine forests with clear water and fine sand. 🍽️ For lunch, enjoy a seafood barbecue on S’Amarador Beach (grilled squid, large shrimp, sardines), sitting on a beach mat with toes buried in the sand. 🌊 In the afternoon, visit Cala Figuera, a cliffside village. The Drach Caves (Coves del Drac) house the world’s largest underground lake, where classical concerts echo underground. Take a small boat through the caves, looking up at stalactites hanging like frozen waterfalls. ⛰️ Day 4: Tramuntana - Ridge Hiking and Farewell 🌞 Hike the Tramuntana Mountains (a World Heritage site) in the morning, starting from Escorca. The ridge trail has snowy peaks on one side and the deep blue Mediterranean on the other. Along the way, see ancient terraces, stone farmhouses, and hear the bells of grazing sheep. 🍽️ Have lunch in Fornalutx, known as Mallorca’s most beautiful village. Stone houses are covered with wisteria, and you can eat Mallorca bread with olive oil and tomato sauce under the old banyan tree in the square. 🌊 In the afternoon, visit the natural salt flats (Salines de Llevant), where salt piles look like snow mountains. At sunset, the salt ponds reflect the sky like a pink-purple magic mirror. Pack the blue, gold, and white of Mallorca into your memory and take it on the plane. ⛺ Must-Do Highlights · Palma Cathedral: Gaudí renovation + Gothic Eye rose window · Ma-10 Road: Most beautiful northwest coastal drive · Valldemossa: Chopin’s winter piano retreat · Caló des Moro: Turkish Blue jelly sea · Drach Caves: Underground lake classical concerts · Tramuntana Hiking: Snowy peaks on one side, sea on the other 🏨 Accommodation: Stay in Palma Old Town (convenient for food and drink) / Northwest Coast (stunning scenery) / Southeast Coast 🚇 Transportation: Flights to Palma from major Spanish cities (1-1.5 hours); strongly recommend renting a car to enjoy the coastal roads; boats can be rented for island beaches 🍽️ Must-Eats: Roast suckling pig, Spanish paella, fresh oysters, sweet wine, Mallorca bread 💡 Tips: Best time is May-June or September-October to avoid crowds in July-August; sunscreen + sunglasses + wide-brimmed hat are Mediterranean essentials; mountain goats cross slower than cars on mountain roads; some beaches require advance booking in July-August 🌟 In Mallorca, the Mediterranean blue is endless. Chopin found his dream, and you find yours. After Mallorca, all other seas feel just okay. Next time, come back when the apricot blossoms fill the valleys~👋

My husband and I visited the hotel for a week of relaxation. The hotel itself is beautiful, impeccably clean, and all the staff we met were exceptionally friendly. Our room was situated at the lower end of the resort, but the frequent buggies made getting around easy and convenient, a necessity given the hotel's hillside layout. The beach was stunning, with crystal-clear water ideal for swimming and snorkeling. While loungers cost €15.50 for two, you can opt to just lay on the sand if you prefer. The food was outstanding, offering a variety of options—among the best all-inclusive experiences we've ever had. Drinks were great, featuring branded options with excellent presentation, and we loved thoughtful touches like ice creams and cocktails being served around the pool. Although it’s a family-oriented hotel with many toddlers and babies, which was quite noticeable during mealtimes, it didn’t significantly affect us as a couple. Overall, it’s a fantastic hotel!

The caves are truly stunning and incredible. However, the entry process could be better organized as the groups are too large. They should also consider having entrances reserved exclusively for adults. The musical show was amazing!

Located near the Caves of Drach, this hotel is an excellent option for tranquility in Mallorca. However, if you're seeking the beach (not our case), it's about a 10-minute walk away. The standout feature is its exceptional staff—every single person deserves a 12 out of 10. Breakfast gets a solid 9; the pastries are delicious, as are the other options like fruit and cold cuts, though coffee and juice are machine-based. Dinner scores a 7.5; the buffet is decent without being remarkable, except for the risotto on the last night, which was fantastic. The sleeping experience earns a 10, thanks to super comfortable beds and a noise-free environment. Rooms are spacious, though a slightly larger bathroom would have been appreciated. This hotel is ideal and highly recommended for those seeking peace and wanting to explore the island, but less so for staying close to the beach.

Lovely hotel, everything was clean overall. No complaints about the premises except for our room. We paid extra for a Junior Suite upgrade and stayed in Room E510. To put it simply, the room was disgraceful and far from 4-star quality. It was infested with ants coming in from the door, even after the area was fumigated outside during our stay. There were spider droppings on the dusty skirting boards, chipped furniture, a water-damaged bottom of the open wardrobe, and marked walls. The sofa bed was so unclean that we wouldn’t even consider using it. During our 11-day stay, the bed sheets were not changed but just turned over and ironed. We noticed this due to certain mascara marks on the linen and pillowcases remaining untouched. While the hotel itself was nice, Room E510 fell far below expectations. This is a completely honest review.

I attended a Pilates retreat at this resort with 51 other guests, and I found it absolutely perfect for such an event. The staff were incredibly helpful, attentive, and friendly throughout our stay. This was my second visit to the resort, and I’m already planning to come back next year. The hotel provides plenty of activities, and the entertainment is of a high standard. The food is fresh and amazing, and the spa is absolutely beautiful. My experience here has been excellent, and I highly recommend it.

We chose a junior suite with a sea view since we were traveling with our eleven-year-old grandson. Excellent decision! The sunrise over the sea was breathtaking! The property is incredibly well-equipped, offering plenty for adults, teens, and kids alike. Evenings were enjoyable with lively activities in the large square with tables. There are three pools, one of which is dedicated purely to relaxation and offers a sea view. The restaurant was efficient with no waiting lines, featuring diverse menus daily, including ethnic and themed options. Everything was truly impressive. The spaces were clean and well-maintained. The ALPITOUR entertainment team was outstanding—always around but never intrusive. Shuttle service provided convenient access to the two beaches on either side of Punta Reina. While Cala Mandia wasn’t particularly appealing to us, the other beach, Cala S’Estany d’en Mas, or Cala Romantica, was more accessible via a path from the resort. The sea was stunning! Make sure to bring a snorkel mask to enjoy the fish around the rocks.

We are currently vacationing at Blau Punta, a place we've returned to for three years now. After just two days here, we are absolutely amazed by the entertainment team. Today, they put on a Disney-themed show that was truly spectacular. The professionalism, the interaction with kids on stage, and the stunning costumes were all outstanding. We've never seen shows of this quality, even at 5-star hotels in Turkey with guest performers. It's a real joy to know such a team is taking care of us and our kids. We're thrilled to be back at our favorite hotel this year.

Charming resort... everyone is very kind and attentive, from the restaurants to the bars, not to mention the animation team, truly fantastic—I’ve never encountered such an amazing group. The evening shows are fantastic for the whole family, and in the afternoons, there are always team games! For those who want to enjoy the sea like we did, there are beautiful coves easily accessible on foot; otherwise, the resort's extraordinary pools are a great option. My son Alessio already said he wants to come back!

We have visited this hotel many times and love everything about it: the stunning location, the clean rooms, the delicious food, and, not to forget, the consistently friendly staff—whether at the reception, in service, cleaning, or maintenance. Most of the staff have worked here for many years, which is not always a given. The hotel has undergone some renovations recently, and we really liked the tasteful updates. The air conditioning in the rooms and spaces is excellent. We are already looking forward to our next holiday at Hotel Club S'Illot.

Mallorca is a much larger island than you might expect. If you book your accommodations in a single location or without considering your travel route, you will end up spending more than three hours a day traveling back and forth in your car. Here are three recommended locations for the most efficient accommodations based on your travel style, along with connecting itineraries. 1. Recommended Accommodation Locations by Region in Mallorca Palma City Center (Palma de Mallorca) — [First Visit / Public Transport / Gourmet & Shopping Hub] Features: It is a 15-minute drive from the airport and is densely packed with Palma Cathedral, the Old Town, famous restaurants, and brand shops. You can stay out late at night, and it is convenient for using connecting tours. Disadvantages: Hotels in the city center often have limited parking spaces or high daily parking fees. If using a rental car, it is essential to check if your accommodation has a private parking lot. Sóller or Port de Sóller — [Relaxation / Charming Small Town / Rest Hub] Features: A quaint, fairytale-like village in the western mountainous region. It is the perfect place to relax and watch the sunset at the restaurants lining the beach, with wooden trams passing by. Disadvantage: The western mountain roads are narrow and winding, which can be challenging for novice drivers when driving at night. Portenza or Southeastern Beach (Port de Pollença / Cala d'Or) — [Beach Snorkeling / Rental Car Only] Features: Close to famous cliff beaches (Calas) such as Cala Moro and Cala Lombards, and features many resort-style accommodations with relatively easy parking. Disadvantage: It takes some time to travel to downtown Palma or the airport. 2. Practical Tips for Driving & Parking Rental Cars Vehicle Selection: Since the alleys and mountain roads in small towns (Valldemossa, Deia) are very narrow, small hatchbacks or compact SUVs are much more convenient for passing and parking. Parking in the Blue Line (Zona ORA): You must pay for a parking ticket using a self-service payment machine or the dedicated app (mobiAPParc) and place it on the inside of the vehicle's windshield. If you are charged a fee due to exceeding the time limit, press the 'Cancel' button on the payment machine and insert the fee (approximately 6 euros) to have it cancelled immediately. 3. Recommended 3-Night, 4-Day Itinerary Day 1 (Palma City Center) Visit Palma Cathedral (Catedral de Mallorca) ➔ Stroll through the alleys of the Old Town ➔ Watch the sunset at the lake area in front of the cathedral [Accommodation: Palma City Center] Day 2 (Western Charm Small Town) Valldemossa Village ➔ Deía Viewpoint ➔ Arrive in Sóller city center, take the wooden tram to Port de Sóller and have seafood paella for lunch [Accommodation: Palma City Center or Sóller] Day 3 (Southeast Emerald Beaches) Arrive at Caló des Moro or Cala Piquera before 9:30 AM for snorkeling ➔ Transfer to Ses Salines for lunch [Accommodation: Palma City Center or Southeast] Day 4 (Northern Drive & Return) Cap de Formentor Viewpoint ➔ Souvenir shopping in city center, then airport Move #MallorcaAccommodationLocation #MallorcaTravel #SpainMallorca #MallorcaAccommodation #MallorcaRentalCar #PalmaCathedral #Sóller #Calamoro #Valldemossa #SpainTravel #EuropeanResort

A very beautiful complex reflective of Rafael Nadal's image. The museum is very well designed. It was a great experience for me as a former tennis player. I was lucky enough to meet Rafael Nadal and even take a photo with him.

Currently on holiday and staying at this hotel. We are having a wonderful time; the food is fantastic and the hotel is amazing. Special thanks to Stephan and Diange, two remarkable staff members who make everything effortless. They are very attentive, go above and beyond, and nothing is too much trouble for them. The hotel is truly fortunate to have them on their team.

There's a small shop and a couple of restaurants right next door, but the property itself is situated in a peaceful area above the town. It’s only a 10-15 minute walk to the main port area, filled with bars, restaurants, and a lovely town beach. Conveniently, there are a couple of bus stops nearby—one of which gets you in 10 minutes to the beautiful beaches of Cala Anguilla (our favorite), Cala Mendia, and Cala Romantica. The location is also very close to the caves, which are definitely worth visiting. Though we didn’t rent a car, there was ample street parking available. The pool area offers plenty of loungers and cabanas, and the pool itself is of a good size and impeccably clean. The bar area was reasonably priced, with €2.50 for a small beer, €4 for a larger beer or a glass of wine, and cocktails priced under €10. Our room, which overlooked the pool, was spacious and offered a comfortable bed with plenty of storage space. However, we had a minor complaint: the bathroom design wasn’t ideal. Like many modern hotels, it lacked a fully enclosed bathroom. The sink was out in the room, while the shower and toilet were in partitioned areas without proper closing doors. Additionally, the toilet was awkwardly close to the shower screen, requiring you to sit at an angle. Breakfast was good, offering a variety of sweet and savory dishes, freshly cooked eggs, and a better-than-average coffee machine. Lastly, the staff were all friendly and helpful. We’d gladly stay here again.

For a first experience, it was very pleasant—the hotel's welcome, the activities, and especially the entertainers, the dining options, as well as the complex overall. The entire staff was very attentive. I recommend this place without any hesitation.

We booked this beachfront hotel at an excellent price thanks to a special offer. The staff was extremely kind, the breakfast was excellent, and dinner was good. The cleanliness was satisfactory. The bed was a bit firm. The bar on the seventh floor with a panoramic view was also very nice. Pool loungers were available for an additional fee.

Perfect for families. There’s a great variety of everything. Also enjoyable for adults. Lovely pools. Good food. Nice beaches. Lots of variety. At the beach, there are also various activities available. The dining hall is quite loud, but you have the option to sit outside.

Once again, a fantastic experience. Delicious food, clean and cozy rooms, friendly and helpful staff, along with excellent entertainment throughout the day and evening. The animation team was amazing. This was our third time here, and we will definitely be happy to return.

We’ve just returned from a one-week stay at HM Mar Blau and had a fantastic time. We opted for self-catering and didn’t eat at the hotel, using it mainly as a base, so our feedback is focused on the apartment and hotel itself. However, one afternoon we did enjoy using the pool and had a delightful jug of sangria from the bar. Despite initial concerns from reading some previous reviews, we found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. The room was cleaned daily, and fresh towels were provided when left on the floor. The apartment was modern, clean, and spacious, with an extremely comfortable bed—I think I’ve slept better this past week than I have in ages! We had a lovely balcony with a pool view, perfect for unwinding in the evenings with a glass or two of wine. During the day, we enjoyed strolling and exploring nearby areas. The hotel’s location suited us perfectly, as nearby resorts like Cala Bona and S’Illot were close and pleasant for walking to. We also ventured to Cala Morlanda to watch cliff jumping and then to Porto Cristo for an afternoon—a longer walk but made easy thanks to designated paths and pavements. For those not keen on walking, there are plenty of places nearby to rent bikes, and cycling seemed popular among visitors. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel. It boasts a great location, with numerous bars and restaurants nearby, and we found the hotel itself excellent with no complaints at all.

Needed a proper break from the classroom, so I booked a quick flight from Cork to Palma. I ended up staying on the east coast in Canyamel at a cliffside hotel. Since I deal with teenagers all day, the fact that this place was strictly adults-only was a massive selling point. Here’s the practical breakdown if you’re planning a trip: · *Getting there & around:** Flew Ryanair to Palma. You’ll definitely need to rent a car at the airport; Canyamel is about a 1-hour drive across the island and public transport here is a bit of a pain. Parking at the hotel was handy enough. · *The Location & Vibe:** It’s built right on the cliff. You can walk down to Canyamel beach in about 5 minutes, which is clean and wasn't too packed. There’s a nice coastal walking path nearby, and the Artà caves are just a 15-minute walk away—tickets are around €15, which is fair enough for an hour's tour. · *The Room & Facilities:** Very comfortable, no-nonsense decor but high quality. You get a proper view of the sea from the bed. They have a saltwater infinity pool which was decent, and they offer free yoga classes on the terrace. · *Food & Value:** Breakfast is included and it’s very good—a mix of a buffet and cooked-to-order options. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant once; the food was grand, but honestly, it’s overpriced for what it is. You're much better off driving 10 minutes inland to Artà town. It’s got a lovely historic centre with great independent shops, a local market, and much cheaper, authentic tapas spots. · *Verdict:** Not a budget holiday, but for a quiet, hassle-free spot to switch off for a few days, it’s worth the money.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Punta Reina, especially the zen pool, the dining options, the evening events, and the fantastic animators (like Matt). Above all, the easy access to the Romantica beach was an absolute delight. The only downside was the construction work near our room that woke us up at 7 a.m. If we come back, we’ll definitely opt for a room with a direct sea view.

Finished a wonderful vacation at this hotel today. If I had to point out a flaw, the elevator service could be improved. Aside from that, everything was perfect—spotless cleanliness, a location just steps from the sea, a varied and high-quality buffet, and courteous staff. I left with the desire to come back.

I was pleasantly surprised by several aspects of this hotel during our stay in the Formentera block. The room was a decent size, and its small balcony offered a charming view of a peaceful garden. Knowing in advance that this was more of a budget hotel, I didn’t expect the food or drinks to be exceptional, but I found them more than satisfactory. The main restaurant featured different themes each evening, such as American, Mexican, Thai, and Indian cuisine. The dessert offerings, including sorbet and ice cream, were delightful, although there could be a queue for these sometimes. There were self-serve beer and soft drink stations near the pool, a snack bar offering standard options like burgers, and an ice cream machine alongside hot beverages. However, we didn’t find the entertainment to be appealing, which wasn’t a major issue for us since we often retired early due to our child. Still, be prepared for overpriced evening activities like trampolines (€8), zorbs (€10), and arcade machines (many of which are broken or simply take your money). The hotel is located in a quiet area but conveniently has a bus stop right outside, which we used daily to explore places like Cal a Dor and Porto Cristo with its caves. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for the value it offers—particularly considering the gorgeous nearby beaches—but I’d rate it closer to a 3-star than 4-star establishment.

We had an absolutely stunning week at Blau Punta Reina and will definitely return! 🥰 The hotel boasts an exceptional location with three beautiful coves nearby: Cala Romàntica (just 3 minutes away), Cala Mendia (about 10 minutes), and Cala Anguila (around 15 minutes). Turquoise waters, amazing scenery... truly a slice of paradise! 🌊💙 We opted for the All-Inclusive package, and there was something delightful for every taste—breakfast, lunch, snack, or dinner. Special mention to the fruits, which were simply outstanding! 🍉🍍🍓 Our room was gorgeous, offering a breathtaking sea view. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was cleaned daily with fresh linens and towels provided. Plenty of towels were available, and the air conditioning was a much-appreciated touch. As far as the hotel’s cleanliness is concerned, everything was flawless! 👌 The cocktails were excellent as well. We only went on one excursion during our stay since we wanted to enjoy the coves and hotel pools—a pirate-themed Robinson boat trip 🏴‍☠️. What an experience! We swam with various fish, took a break at Formentor beach with its crystal-clear blue waters, and even had lunch onboard where we enjoyed delicious paella 🤤! Huge thanks to Paco, Antonio, and the entire crew who kept the energy high from beginning to end—a fantastic day out! 🎉 The hotel also offers a range of well-organized activities at reasonable prices, ensuring a stress-free vacation, which is just what we were looking for. As for transportation, taxis are available on request directly from the hotel. There’s also a shuttle, a bus, and a small train that go to places like Cala Mendia, Cala Anguila, or Porto Cristo. The only downside of our stay was with the small train. We had a bad experience with the driver who refused to let us board, even though there were plenty of seats and we arrived on time. He asked us to come back after his 12:30 break and then offered us a spot when we were leaving. When we inquired about how to purchase tickets from him directly, he laughed at us. Quite disappointing, as this service could’ve been really convenient. Lastly, a heartfelt shoutout to Redouane, our bartender ❤️! His friendliness, quick service, kindness, and warm smile made him unforgettable. He truly helped make our stay even more wonderful—we’ll miss him! To sum up: a stunning hotel, exceptional surroundings, beautiful coves, diverse food options, a first-rate room, impeccable cleanliness, and a friendly team. We absolutely loved our stay at Blau Punta Reina and will definitely return! ❤️🇪🇸

We just returned to the UK after a 10-day stay here, meeting friends from France to celebrate their 20th Wedding Anniversary. Our trip was with Thomas Cook, including transfers handled by Transunion. If you're booking separately, Transunion was excellent, and we'll definitely consider them again. The food was very enjoyable—while some reviews mention it being repetitive, we found plenty of options, including fish and gluten-free choices. They even provided warm gluten-free baguettes on request. You can have ice cream all day if you like, and there's a Mr Whippy machine in the dining hall serving delicious yogurt ice cream. The rooms are maintained very well and kept clean. It's less suitable for families or anyone with difficulty navigating steps, as these are unavoidable to access the pool and restaurant. However, the steps are easy on the legs—not tiring like some stone steps. There's an appealing water feature running down to the bottom, complete with a resident terrapin, "Fred." For €10 refundable deposits, you can get pool towels, a TV remote, and a kettle, while swapping towels costs €3 each time. Safe keys don't need a deposit. The all-inclusive deals come with good-quality local drinks. For trips, research beforehand. We paid €55 for a trip to the Caves of Drach, which included shopping at a simulated pearl shop in Porto Cristo. Alternatively, the 428 bus service to Porto Cristo lets you walk to the caves, with entry costing just €19! There's also a path beside the pool leading to an amazing spot with crystal-clear waters and a sandy seabed, ideal for swimming. This was our first visit to Mallorca, and we'll definitely be back—likely to this very hotel!
