Ryde travel guide and discussion

Japan City|A Comfortable and Reliable Japanese Dining Experience During Your Trip During this trip, I wanted to find a relaxed and comfortable place for dinner, and I happened to discover Japan City nearby. Upon entering, the overall ambiance of the restaurant exceeded my expectations. While it doesn't boast stunning decor or creative dishes like some high-end restaurants, it is simple, clean, and comfortable—perfect for sitting down to a reliable meal during your travels. 🍣 Food Experience A wide variety of dishes to choose from, suitable for everyone: · Salmon Sashimi: Quite fresh, with slices of appropriate thickness. · Aburi Sushi: Fragrant, natural flavor, not overly seasoned. · Tempura: Crispy and freshly fried, not greasy. · Unagi Don: Slightly sweet, with a decent thickness of eel. I also tried their Tiramisu for dessert. It was excellent! Not overly sweet, just right, with a soft texture that was very pleasant—perfectly rounding off the meal. If you enjoy desserts that aren't too sweet, I recommend trying this Tiramisu. Overall, the food is "reliable and satisfying," with no unpleasant surprises. 🪑 Environment and Service The restaurant's decor is simple and warm, with soft lighting and well-spaced seating. The staff were friendly and attentive, covering all the necessary details. After a tiring day of travel, dining here was a very relaxing experience. 💰 Price Not exactly cheap, but comparable to similar Japanese restaurants—worth the value. The lunch sets are more economical, so budget-conscious travelers might consider those. Japan City Address Level 2, Corner of Devlin St & Blaxland Rd, Ryde NSW 2112. (Floor 2, Top Ryde City Shopping Centre) Average Cost: $20–40 AUD per person Specialties: Japanese cuisine, desserts, and tableware for sale Transportation: Driving is the most convenient option: Top Ryde City has plenty of parking spaces, with the first 3 hours free. You can take the elevator directly to the second floor to reach the restaurant. Public transport is also easily accessible: Multiple bus routes (e.g., 500X, 501, 518) stop at the mall entrance, and it's a 1–2 minute walk from there. Train: You can transfer to a bus from Meadowbank Station, the nearest train station. It takes about 10 minutes by bus to reach Top Ryde City. 📌 Summary Japan City may not have extravagant highlights, but the overall experience is stable and comfortable, making it a reliable choice when you want to avoid risks during your trip. If you're looking for a quiet environment, fresh ingredients, and a satisfying meal, consider adding this place to your itinerary.

Walking along the streets of Meadowbank in Sydney, you'll be captivated by the scenery along the way. Despite being divided by busy roads, the city retains its unique charm. Crossing Victoria Road, you'll find a tranquil residential area. Most of the buildings here are multi-story residences, with green plants on every balcony, providing residents with a small haven for relaxation and entertainment. Walking through such a community, you can feel a warm and harmonious atmosphere of life. Continuing forward, you'll reach a beautiful park. The park features a wooden pavilion surrounded by lush trees, with a large bridge over a river in the distance. Sitting in the pavilion, a gentle breeze brings a touch of coolness. Children chase and play on the grass, while the elderly chat leisurely under the shade of trees, creating a peaceful and beautiful scene. This river is not only a boundary for the city but also a great place for residents to relax and enjoy themselves.

~ Guzman y Gomez 🌯 · ———————————————————————— Last time we checked in at Studio 8 Residences, it was already 10:00, 90% of restaurants are closed, there is not even a convenience store nearby🥹 Luckily, we entered Top Ryde City Shopping Centre, Guzman Mexican fast food is not closed yet, so we decided to eat this, still half an hour to eat🤪 It’s not the first time we’ve eaten at Guzman, because there is one near our house, but we often order takeout. This is the one we think is quite affordable, and tastes good portions of Mexican rolls🫔 · ———————————————————————— ▶️ Burrito 🌯 AUD$12.7 ▫️ You can see the roll is really quite large, as a meal will be just right, I eat alone is quite full 😋 ▫️ There is plenty of ingredients inside, with rice, black beans, cheese, meat (choose meat) and other ingredients, the meat is really a lot, meat accounts for 5-6 percent🍗 ▫️ The skin is quite thin, every bite is all the lining ▫️The burrito is wrapped in tin foil, which keeps the roll warm and is quite convenient to eat ▶️ Bowl 🍚 AUD$12.7 ▫️ Instead we think it is not so affordable, we are the first time to eat Bowl, it turns out the portion is quite small, boyfriend not enough to eat😂 ▫️ Actually the ingredients should be the same as Burrito? But we all think that the portion and sauce of the rolls are superior to the Mexican rolls🤔 ▫️ Because the Bowl is packed in a paper box, it will not be warm soon, my boyfriend ate half of the bite for me to eat a bit cold 🤧 ▶️ Taco AUD$3 ▫️ It's a mini Mexican pizza, the pizza crust is crispy ▫️There are quite a lot of ingredients such as vegetables and cheese🥙 ▫️The taste is different from the burrito and rice, I don't like it that much, the spice taste is a bit hard to describe🤨 ▫️ Portion can only be used as a snack ▶️ Add-on Set 🍟 AUD$6 (French Fries & Drink) ▫️The fries are great, they taste a bit like Five Guys ▫️ The portion of fries is quite large, we both ate just right 🙌🏻 ▶️ Soft ice cream AUD$1 · ———————————————————————— Rating: (🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕 Highest) Cleanliness: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗 Deliciousness: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌘 Transportation degree: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕 Value for money: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗 Service attitude: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕 Overall: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌘 · —————————————— Price: AUD$16 per person Address: R3001/Cnr Blaxland Rd & Devlin St, Ryde NSW 2112, Australia · —————————————— #area #hourshotel #roomopening #hotel #hongkongtravel #hongkongcouples #couplesdaily #couplesgoodplaces #datinggoodplaces #genderrelationship #photophoto #kkhotels #overseastravel #hkcouple #hkhotel #hotelstage #agoda #trivago #hotel #hotels #couplesdatinggoals #couplesgoals #hotelier #Valentine's Day Good Place

~ 🇦🇺 Studio 8 Residences · ———————————— Adult hotel? Blow-room hotel? 🫣 Actually, it's not true, but this hotel regulations can only stay above 18, maybe to ensure the safety of guests? Because we stayed to see that there will be kitchen, terrace facilities, for children will have a certain danger🧐 We think this hotel is better than expected, the room type did not know there is a terrace, that quite a surprise. 🌟 There is also a table and chairs on the terrace outside, so you can sit on the terrace and watch the sunrise and sunset🌄 · —————————————— Features include: No package this time🙈 · —————————————— Good ✅: ▪️ The front desk of the hotel lobby will be relatively small, but the coffee shop next to the front desk is quite large, there are several tables to sit down like a cup of coffee to check ☕️ ▪️After check in, the hotel will give each person a cup of welcome coffee, you can drink it after getting up/check out the next day🙈 ▪️ Go up to the room, once you enter the hotel-style residence, there will be a feeling of home. Although it's not very big, this hotel will have everything you have at home🏠 ▪️Clean bedding, no dirt on the surface. There are 2 pillows provided on the bed, but there is still one available in the closet. However, there is a problem with the bed sheets in this hotel, which we have stayed in several hotels before, that is, the bed sheets are separated into two layers, and the quilt inside can easily come out 🛏️ ▪️There is a bedside lamp at the head of the bed, which is actually quite bright, but there is a lampshade not so blinding, but sleeping off it will be easier to fall asleep💡 ▪️ Next to the refrigerator is a large double door closet that can hold a lot of clothes, but remember to bring extra hangers if you stay for a long time. There are not many hangers in the wardrobe, so I can only hang a few sets of clothes👕 ▪️Actually, we appreciate the open kitchen, because the kitchen is rather large, the work table is large, cutting food does not wash to live 🍖 There are many cabinets in the kitchen, there are 5-6 wall cabinets in the large kitchen, and there are also cabinets for cutlery, which can store a lot of kitchen utensils 🍳 for a long time ▪️ We were surprised because the kitchen is a refrigerator with snow to things, a household refrigerator! 😂 Actually, there is an ice tray to ice some ice cream, and the bottom layer is really cold 🥹 ▪️The hotel offers smart tv function, has a regular TV, and also has access to the Internet, but! You can't play porn or Youtube videos, you can only watch videos like Netflix📺 ▪️ The toilet is smaller, but can do dry and wet separation, and the bathroom can be just enough to stand 2 people. We will feel a little crowded standing, but it won't hit 🙌🏻 ▪️The shampoo and shower gel provided at the hotel are Refill style, but the surface looks quite clean. Although the bottle says all 3 have the same taste, but each one tastes different. 😂 ▪️The towels in the bathroom are clean, we checked the books are very white, no stains🧺 ▪️The hotel room has a terrace, the terrace is quite large, can put 2 chairs and a round table. The point is the view is a word "beautiful", because there are no high-rise buildings nearby, you can look at the panoramic view🥰 ▪️The hotel's location will be remote, but the transportation is quite convenient, you can take the subway and then change the bus, walk a few minutes to get 🚇 There is a large shopping mall near the hotel, there are many restaurants (there are 2 food courts, large supermarkets (at least 3) and other shops, we walked for several hours did not finish, of course we had half an hour to eat 😝 Needs improvement ❎: ▫️ There are 2 Australian three-pronged sockets on one side of the bed, no sockets on the other side, and no USB sockets are provided, so remember to bring 🔋 before going ▫️ The work space is relatively small, just an ordinary desk 📚 ▫️ The hotel does not provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, bathrobes and disposable slippers, you have to buy them all🩴 · —————————————— Rating: (🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕 Highest) Cleanliness: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕 Traffic degree: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗 Value for money: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌖 Service attitude: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕 Overall: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌖 Return rate: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕 · —————————————— Price: Trip.com AUD$150 (tax included)/per night Room type: Deluxe Queen Studio Address: 8 Tucker St, Ryde NSW 2112, Australia Note: 🌟Must be 2 people over 18 years old · —————————————— #area #hourshotel #roomopening #hotel #hongkonghotel #hongkongtravel #hongkongcouples #couplesdaily #couplesgoodplaces #datinggoods #genderrelationships #photophoto #KK to hotels #hkcouple #hkhotel #hotelstage #agoda #trivago #hotels #hotels #couplesdatinggoals #couplesgoals #hotelier #Valentine's Day Good Place

#January Destinations 2026 Sydney | Satisfy Six Taste Buds at Once 📍ENZE Bakery – Ryde Address: 115 Blaxland Road, Ryde NSW 2112 (Ground floor – outside next to Blaxland Rd bus stops, Top Ryde City Shopping Centre) Phone: 0434088073 I tried ENZE's cake for a relative's birthday before and thought it was delicious, so I went back to buy some this time. This shop offers many different flavors of mandarin cake, which is heaven for dessert lovers like me who have "choice paralysis". This time I tried 6 flavors: · Blueberry lemon: Sweet and refreshing, it brightens your mood from the first bite. · Strawberry matcha: The sweetness of strawberry and the slight bitterness of matcha intertwine, creating a unique layered flavor. · Jasmine mandarin: The first bite of this cake reveals a strong jasmine aroma, elegant and prominent. For some, the floral notes might overpower the citrus fruitiness, but for me, that's precisely its charm. · Strawberry: A timeless classic, simple yet deeply satisfying. · Rose and Lychee: The romance of rose and the sweetness of lychee—a taste of summer in every bite. · Mango: Rich and smooth, bursting with tropical sunshine. Exquisitely presented and delicious, perfect for celebrations. Sharing it with everyone, every bite is a delightful surprise; laughter and sweetness intertwine—these are some of life's most beautiful moments. #ENZEBakery #Ryde #delicatecakes #dessertsharing #BlueberryLemon #StrawberryMatcha #RoseAndLychee #foodblog

Must-Visit Spot: Farina Pizzeria Top Ryde Location: The Piazza, Shop 3040, Ground Level, 109 Blaxland Rd, Ryde NSW 2112 Hours: Open daily, generally noon till late Why you’ll like it: The spot is smack in the central Piazza (easy walk from Top Ryde Shopping Centre), super accessible, and has a laid-back atmosphere—ideal if you want something that’s “good location and acceptable with tasty” as I found out. The pizzas are legit: fresh dough, solid toppings, and absolutely worth a stop when you’re in Ryde. Veggies and meat-eaters both sorted. Getting Around Ryde: Public transit is reliable, or there’s plenty of parking at Top Ryde Shopping Centre. If you’re doing multiple spots around Ryde, local buses (like the 518 or 515) run regularly. Food Notes: Besides pizza, Farina Pizzeria also has pastas and sides if you want to mix up your order. Try the margherita or anything with prosciutto, trust me! Quick Ryde Tips: No visa hassle for domestic travelers in Australia. Bring a debit card, cash is rarely needed. #HawaiiFlightEvent Top Ryde Baker’s House Shop 1013, Top Ryde City Shopping Centre, NSW 2112, Australia The taste that comes to mind when you’re hungry while shopping at Top Ryde City! If you want to eat a crispy baguette and a cilantro-flavored banh mi sandwich, this is a must-visit 🥖 I had lemongrass chicken banh mi, The meat was seasoned just right, and the vegetables were crunchy, so the texture was perfect! It has the same Vietnamese flavor, but it’s adjusted to my taste, so I didn’t feel any resistance at all The price is affordable, and it’s full of fillings, so it’s the best value for money If you take it out and eat it on a nearby park bench, you’ll feel like you’re on vacation ☀️ When you crave banh mi in Sydney, this is the place to go! #HawaiiFlightEvent Top Ryde Baker’s House Shop 1013, Top Ryde City Shopping Centre, NSW 2112, Australia If you’re looking for a really delicious Banh Mi in Top Ryde, this is the place to go! The baguette is crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, and the fresh vegetables, meat, and cilantro are the best combination 🥖✨ I had the BBQ pork Banh Mi, and the meat was moist and the sauce wasn’t too strong, so it was perfect. You can add jalapenos to make it spicy, so you can customize it to your taste! The portions are generous and the price is reasonable, so it’s perfect for lunch. The interior of the store is small but clean, and if you take it out and eat it in the outdoor space of the shopping mall, it’ll make you feel good ☀️ If you want to have a light and delicious meal in Sydney, this is highly recommended! It might even be more delicious than the Banh Mi I had in Korea…

On the banks of Sydney's famous Parramatta River, there's a place called Meadowbank. There's a very romantic spot there that evokes thoughts of love. Its romantic reputation comes from its name: Kissing Point. I imagine couples who visit feel obliged to kiss, so as not to disappoint the name of the location. Walk along Meadowbank towards Kissing Point. In my opinion, all of Australia's charming scenery is enhanced by its blue skies and white clouds. It's this backdrop that makes the green spaces, golden earth, and river water shine! Kissing Point isn't very large, but it's charming and picturesque, with boundless scenic appeal. It has beaches, unique character, old European-style houses, lush forests, and shaded paths.

#newyearnewtrip If you visit top ryde city shopping centre in Sydney, be sure to visit top ryde baker’s house which is located beside woolworths! They often have long queue getting their bahn mi so do check them out if you are there! They serve a wide variety of bahn mi there ranging from classic pork, lemon grass beef, slow cooked warm pork, cold chicken to bbq chicken! It sure is one of the locals favourite there!

Top Ryde (NSW) is EPIC !!

Big portions and the pizza is outstanding. Parma was a bit salty but overall it's worth to go. #deliciousfood
