Belek - Turkey

Belek is a small but dynamically developing resort town on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey. This marvelous town is known for its beautiful pine, cedar and eucalyptus groves, luxury hotels and beautiful sandy beaches. Belek is one of the most famous golf centers in the world. This is where the National Golf Club is located! The town was opened for tourists only in the mid-80s and now it has become the most respectable and, as a result, expensive Turkish resort with a developed infrastructure. Being a young city, there’s no historical sights in Belek, but its geographical position allows you to make excursions throughout the Antalya province. There are 3 ways to get from Belek to Antalya by bus (40 mins), taxi or car (30 mins). I stayed in two different hotels in Belek and they were just perfect! As for excursions I was going to Antalya by taxi. The swimming season, and, therefore, the best time to visit the Belek begins in April - May and lasts until October. #staycation
