Chiang Mai was Teresa Teng's favorite city, and it is also where her spirit returned. She passed away at the Mei Ping Hotel, and many Chinese people visit there to pay their respects. Chiang Mai is in the northern part of Thailand, and compared to Bangkok, the girls in the north have fairer skin and are taller, almost similar to Chinese people. At the Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, locals enter for free, and when we visited the temple, they didn't recognize that we were not locals, so they let us in to visit for free. Chiang Mai is not big, but it has a lot of temples; there is one every ten steps. After visiting so many temples, my favorites are the Wat Chedi Luang and Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. Wat Chedi Luang is in the city area, with an ancient and simple style. Picture four is a huge stupa at Wat Chedi Luang, which is very spectacular. Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is on a mountain on the outskirts of the city, with a temple that is glittering with gold, dazzling to the eyes. Transportation in Chiang Mai is quite convenient, with the main mode of transport being the songthaew. You can take a songthaew to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. Within the city, it's best to rent a motorcycle for yourself, allowing you to stop and go as you please, and visit any temple you like at any time.
