Qingjiang Gallery in Yichang, Hubei

The Qingjiang Gallery scenic area is located within the territory of Changyang Tujia Autonomous County in Yichang City, Hubei Province. In December 2012, it became a national 5A-level tourist attraction and is also a national geological park. The Qingjiang River is a pearl of the Yangtze River. It originates from Longdonggou in Lichuan City, western Hubei, flows through Enshi, Changyang, and Badong, and joins the Yangtze River in Yidu City, with a total length of 423 kilometers. It is renowned for the saying 'The 800-li Qingjiang River is as picturesque as a painting'. Through various verifications, it has been confirmed that the Qingjiang Gallery · Wuluo Zhongli Mountain is the birthplace of the Tujia people, and the story of the 'people from the lower reaches' that dates back more than two thousand years originated from here.
