Amazing animals in Chiang Mai

The Chiang Mai Zoo is surprisingly interesting, even if it isn't the first thing that comes to mind when most people think of the city. Chiang Mai Zoo is well worth a visit, especially if you've had your fill of temples, as it spans 200 acres in the foothills of Doi Suthep and offers excellent views of the city as well as exciting wildlife exhibits. Elephants, tigers, chimps, hippopotami, and rhinoceroses are among the over 400 animal species preserved at the Chiang Mai Zoo.
