A Gem in Chongqing - Xiahao Street

Xiahao, connected to Longmen Hao pier, a hundred years ago was busy and prosperous. Today, there is a local market here once in a while that even many natives have never seen before. The life here has nothing to do with all the bustling, and all you can see here is the vicissitudes of the time. When I visited there, locals told me that the history of Xiahao Old Street can be traced back to Qing Emperor Qianlong's time. And at the time, there was already a market here and it was very lively. The noisy cars are far away from here, the streets are progressively sparsely populated these days, and now this place is no longer a traffic arteries, leaving only a small number of residents and hunters to come and visit.
