Cloud-topped Wawu Mountain, the most beautiful mesa, azaleas bloom again!

In early May, the Lanxi Cliff Plank Road in the Wawu Mountain Scenic Area, located within Hongya County, Meishan City, Sichuan Province, opens to tourists, attracting many to experience it. Since 2022, the scenic area has been constructing a 'Z'-shaped plank road on the basalt cliffs, connecting the Lanxi Waterfall with the Mid-Mountain Gallery, creating a tourism loop in the mid-to-high mountain area. The total length of the Lanxi Cliff Plank Road and the Mid-Mountain Gallery Plank Road is about 4.5 kilometers, with an altitude difference of about 310 meters. One side is a sheer cliff, and the other is an abyss, offering the best route to appreciate the geological wonder of the great cliff of 'mesa' Wawu Mountain. Wawu Mountain has a nearly 11 square kilometer tabletop-like mountain plateau, earning it the reputation of 'Cloud-topped Wawu, the most beautiful mesa.'
