🚋 The Holmenkollen Metro Line (L1) in Oslo is just one of a kind in the world... From the harbour front near Oslo Central Station, it takes only 40 minutes for you to reach the western terminus - Frognerseteren, which is 469m above sea level! 🏞️☃️ #urbanexplorer The metro climbs uphill slowly with lots of twists and turns. What's more, ❄️ snow will gradually appear as you go towards the top of the line 😍 🥾 When you reach the terminus - walk around! There are plenty of natural trails around for you to explore the amazing countryside of oslo. And you can also enjoy the grand panoramic view of the city - straight from the station platform~ 📸 ☃️ In winter, if the weather is good, you can ride here to catch the sunrise as the station is facing east. ☀️ You don't have to wake too early as the sun rises at 9am, but note that the metro only provide half-hourly services in early morning... 🕣 If you have more time, go to Roseslottet 🎨, which is just next to the station~ It's an art museum dedicated to the second world war.
