The city gate is divided into three levels. It leads to the Academy, symbolizing the promotion of virtuous scholars, hence the name 'Jinxian Gate'. It is also the only remaining ancient city gate in Jieyang. • 2⃣📍Shuangfeng Temple Together with Chaozhou Kaiyuan Temple and Chaoyang Lingshan Temple, it is known as one of the 'Three Great Temples of Chao County'. The Shuangfeng Temple in Rongcheng is still under construction. In fact, the old site in Guilin Town is more grand and beautiful, but it is some distance from the city center. • 3⃣📍Chenghuang Temple With a history of more than 600 years, it is the oldest, largest, and best-preserved Chenghuang Temple ancient building in Guangdong Province known to date, and it is a national key cultural relics protection unit. • 4⃣📍Jieyang Academy Jieyang Academy, also known as Jieyang Confucius Temple, was the highest institution for worshipping Confucius and cultivating Jieyang students in ancient times. The red walls are very photogenic, and it is known as the 'Pearl of Ancient Architecture in Eastern Guangdong'. • 5⃣📍Zhongshan Road Arcade Street Zhongshan Road, together with Datong Street and Xiguan Road, forms a nearly 2km long arcade building line. It is very rare and not overly commercialized, filled with the original sense of time and weather. • 6⃣📍Green Lion Cultural Tourism Area Rongcheng is the birthplace of the green lion. There are many characteristic graffiti in the cultural area, and the big lion head in the Green Lion Culture Museum has even set a Guinness World Record. • 7⃣📍Rongjiang West Lake The landmark is the two-story lake pavilion in the middle of the lake. The nine-bend bridge extends from the pavilion to the left and right sides.
