Snorkeling and diving in Koh Samui usually start in the morning, as the daytime sun and sea breeze are particularly comfortable. Departing at around 8:00 in the morning, you can enjoy a whole day at sea. In the evening, the yacht slowly returns, and you can choose to watch the beautiful sunset of Koh Samui on the deck, where the sea and sky blend into one, a sight that will take your breath away. Koh Samui is a vibrant diving destination suitable for divers of all levels. The warm and pleasant waters are home to impressive diverse marine habitats, from dense coral reefs to historic shipwrecks. Whether you are just starting your diving journey or an experienced diver seeking new challenges, Koh Samui allows you to enter some of the most fascinating marine environments in the bay. Koh Samui has many diving centers, and the surrounding islands are also suitable for snorkeling and diving. Here are a few of my favorite areas: Koh Tao + Koh Nang Yuan Snorkeling: This route is a paradise for diving enthusiasts. The water is crystal clear, the coral reefs are colorful, and you can see various tropical fish swimming among them. Ang Thong National Marine Park: This is one of the larger national parks in Thailand. Along the way, you can enjoy the peculiar marine erosion landforms and dense tropical rainforests. You may also encounter dolphins, and snorkeling is also great! Sail Rock Divers, Koh Phangan: This 30-meter underwater rock pinnacle is often considered the best diving spot in the Gulf of Thailand and one of the easiest places to encounter whale sharks! Since there are almost no other pinnacles nearby, Sail Rock is a huge temptation for fish. On sunny days, the light will penetrate into the depths of the ocean, and the coral on the surface of Sail Rock will sway gently, which is an awe-inspiring sight!
