Yunnan Kunming Jindian Butterfly Park

Jindian Butterfly Park is located in the northeast corner of Kunming City, Mingfeng Mountain (also known as Parrot Mountain), known as "Parrot Spring Deep" in the Ming Dynasty, and praised as "Mingfeng Scenic Spot" in the Qing Dynasty. It is a comprehensive park that combines cultural relics and garden plant displays. There are many cultural relics in the park. Among them, Taihe Palace Jindian was built in the 30th year of Ming Wanli (1602) and rebuilt in the 10th year of Qing Kangxi (1671). It is the largest and most complete copper cast building in China. It was announced as a national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council in 1982. The park has a rich variety of plants and beautiful natural scenery, especially the colorful "Mingfeng Mountain Tea" and the dense and lush ancient trees. Walking among them, Yunnan Cunninghamia, Crape Myrtle, Yunnan Camellia, Quercus variabilis and other ancient trees and cultural relics shine together, reflecting each other. Because of its deep and long-standing cultural connotation and colorful four-season plant seasons, Jindian Scenic Area was rated as a national AAAA tourist attraction in 2001.
