Cuihu Park is one of the most beautiful parks in downtown Kunming. It used to be a lake in Dianchi Lake, and later became a clear lake due to the drop in the water level. Every winter, a large number of red-billed gulls fly here to spend the winter. I had received a red-billed gull from a college roommate in the winter. It was very cute. We didn’t get to see the cute red-billed gull. Cuihu Park is not big, it can be toured for an hour or so. No tickets, free entry and exit, direct bus from the train station. It takes only ten minutes to walk from Cuihu Park and follow the navigation to Yunnan University.
