Leshan_Emei Mountain May Day holiday third stop: Emei Mountain ➊ Tickets for the entrance, sightseeing bus (round trip), Jinding cable car (upward), and Jinding cable car (downward) all need to be purchased separately. ❷ There are two entrances for the Jinding cable car, the circulating type and the reciprocating type. Both can go downward. The circulating type fits 6 people per car, and the reciprocating type fits 100 people per car. The former is boarded at the upward station, while the latter is boarded at the tourist center after visiting the Golden Summit. Both are called Jinding cable car [Be sure not to buy the Wannian cable car by mistake, the Wannian cable car is halfway up the mountain). ❸ The uphill boarding point at Baoguo Temple Passenger Center is next to the food street, with a total duration of 2 hours, no stops in between. If you get carsick, be sure to sit in the front row. The downhill trip only goes to and you need to transfer to the scenic area bus to get to Baoguo Temple--Baoguo Temple Passenger Center-Emei Mountain High-speed Train Station. The last bus from Leidongping returns at 5:30 pm, be sure to catch it, otherwise, you can only stay at Leidongping. ❹ Inside the Leidongping Passenger Center, there are free QR code-scannable walking sticks available for use. If you miss it, be sure to buy a bamboo pole to assist with climbing. It's very, very tiring to walk to the cable car. ❺ There are human-powered sedans for climbing at Leidongping, costing 480/person for going up the mountain, and 380/person for going down. ❻ We were 2 adults and 1 child, arriving at Baoguo Temple Passenger Station at 9 am, and returning to the starting point at 6 pm. The total time for ascending and descending the mountain was 4 hours, climbing for 1.5 hours, queuing for the cable car for 1.5 hours, and playing at the Golden Summit for 2 hours. ⑦ The postcards in the Jinding cultural and creative store are very beautiful, and there is a mailbox where you can affix stamps and mail them out.
