Third stop in France - Lyon After the graduation ceremony, I took the train to Paris and took some time to sort out my impressions of Lyon. Lyon is a city of mountains and rivers. The Saône and Rhône rivers converge here. A river flows around the highest mountain here - Fourvière, and Lyon is set between the mountains and rivers. Lyon also has a long history. The ancient Roman ruins tell of its past glory. Lyon is also an important cultural and art center in France and even Europe. It is famous for its silk trade and was very prosperous in the Roman era. In 1998, the old city of Lyon was listed as a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. It is also the birthplace of world cinema and The Little Prince...
