Compared to Lijiang and Dali, my child prefers this small city—Mile

🌳Hello everyone, I am Xiaobei Mama, a mother traveling and residing in Yunnan with my child. We have visited 5 cities and 5 autonomous prefectures in Yunnan, and I'm falling in love with it more and more. A few days ago, we arrived in Mile, which is directly accessible by high-speed rail. Unexpectedly, my child loved it here so much that we changed our planned three-day, two-night trip to a full ten days. This small city is really more suitable for residing. 🚄Transportation: Direct access to Mile by high-speed rail, which only takes 30 minutes. It's really so convenient. 👣Three-day, two-night recommended itinerary Day ① 📍Visit Taiping Lake Park during the day The scenery here is like something out of a Miyazaki Hayao film, picturesque all year round, and there are also a few karst landscapes. The small train and feeding pigeons are the children's favorites. The scenic area is large; you can really play for a whole day. 📍Quanhu Ecological Park in the evening Mile is like a mini Sanya. Almost every evening after dinner, Xiaobei comes to play for 2 hours. You can ride bikes, catch fish, and play in the sand. We don't want to go home even when it gets dark. Day ② 📍Jinping Mountain Mile Temple This place has the world's largest seated Maitreya Buddha statue, standing at 19.99 meters tall amidst the lush trees of Jinping Mountain. You can take a sightseeing car or walk up 1999 steps. A four-year-old child can climb 1999 steps without any problem. 📍Keyi Town An ancient Yi ethnic town with more than 300 years of history, well-preserved, and mostly inhabited by locals. There are performances, and it's quite convenient to get there by bus from the city. Those who like to visit ancient villages should definitely go. 📍Buddha Capital Mall This place has a wide range of goods, and they are very cheap. If you're residing here and need any daily necessities, you can find them all here. The most attractive part is the fruit store on the first floor, fresh and delicious. Day ③ 📍Dongfeng Charm The red brick buildings here were built without a single steel bar, using only local red bricks to construct castles. It's great for taking photos, but there's not much for children to play with. It's very close to the high-speed rail station, so it's arranged on the last day. After visiting, you can go directly to the high-speed rail station. 🏠Accommodation Lake Quan Tianyi Hotel, all independent villas, located within the Quanhu Ecological Park. It has a Bali vibe, and you can swim or soak in hot springs in the villa. In the evening after dinner, we rowed boats and walked black swans in the park. The environment is fantastic, and you can play for a whole day without going out.
