Analayo Thipayaram Temple: A Blend of Art and Architecture

🙏 Located on Doi Busarakam, 20 kilometers from the provincial capital, the area of Doi Busarakam and Mon Phra Non is where Analayo Thipayaram Temple is situated. 🏰 Built by a senior monk of Phayao, the temple is distinguished by its art and architecture, which is a blend of Lanna, Burmese, and Tai cultures. 🌄 The origin of the temple's construction is linked to a legend. While the monk was at Wat Rattanawanaram in Phayao, he envisioned golden sand flowing towards the temple in streams. The radiant golden sand seemed to bathe the entire temple, almost turning it into a golden temple. Following the golden light, he saw a hill on the other side of Kwan Phayao. 🏡 Later, someone invited the monk to visit a significant and mysterious place to establish a monastery for the villagers to practice merit-making. The locals often saw bright, circular lights floating over the high hill. Sometimes the light was so bright and yellow, it seemed to cover the entire hill, turning it into a golden hill. These phenomena usually appeared on important Buddhist days, such as the 8th or 15th of the lunar month. 🏰 For these reasons, the revered monk led the construction of this temple, which is a peaceful place suitable for meditation.
