Visit Shuixi Park again

The address of Shuixi Park is No. 63, Wenfeng Road, Qianxi City, Bijie City, Guizhou Province. Based on the Guanyin Pavilion built during the Zhengde era of Emperor Wuzong of the Ming Dynasty, it was rebuilt into Shuixi Park in the early years of the Republic of China. Located at the foot of Lion Mountain in the east of Qianxi urban area, the park houses the tomb of the Yi heroine She Jie's clothing and crown. The long history has left behind cultural relics such as the Guanyin Pavilion, the remnants of the Zhengde Bell, the Guanwen Tower, the Qianlong Emperor's bestowed Shangshu Fang, the Wu Songliang Temple Stele from the Daoguang era, the Guanyin Pavilion Stele, and the Dongshan Temple Poetry Stele. The Guanyin Pavilion was originally built during the Ming Dynasty, suffered several military disasters, was destroyed by fire, and was repeatedly repaired. The last restoration took place in the early years of the Republic of China, handled by Mr. Jiang Panxi, a follower of Sun Yat-sen's revolution from the county, and opened for public viewing, attracting many visitors. Inside Shuixi Park, there is a sculpture of Li Shijie. Li Shijie (1716—1794), styled Hanshan, also known as Yunyan, was born in a scholarly family at Yinzerba, Qianxi, in the 55th year of Emperor Kangxi's reign. From a young age, he was eager to learn, widely read, and well-versed in the art of governance and military strategy, with both integrity and talent. During the Qianlong era, he rose to the position of Minister of War.
