CHECK IN EARLY AS SCHIPHOL IS IN CRISIS MODE

Due to labour shortages in the Netherlands, the Schiphol airport is unable to cope with the usual passenger numbers. The three main problem areas are the security check, the immigration and the baggage handling. If you must depart from Schiphol airport near Amsterdam in the Netherlands make sure to check in early. You are allowed inside the terminal building not more than 4 hours before the flight. It can take up to 3 hours to pass the above mentioned bottlenecks. So make sure you plan your trip accordingly.
