#timetotravel One afternoon, I embarked on a motorcycle ride to Wat Na Mueang in Surat Thani. As I entered the temple grounds, my gaze was drawn to a majestic golden Buddha statue, flanked by black deity figures. Adjacent to this, a small building housed a revered Buddhist sculpture, adorned with fresh flowers. A tranquil pathway lined with trees led me deeper into the temple grounds, where several golden Buddha statues stood sentinel. Towards the rear of the temple, a grand and beautifully designed Buddhist structure awaited. Its sacred ambiance was palpable. I took a leisurely stroll and engaged in conversation with the locals, savoring the serene atmosphere before eventually bidding farewell to Wat Na Mueang.
