Sarasin Bridge - a place of tragic love

Sarasin Bridge was the first bridge that connected Phuket Island with mainland Thailand. It was opened in 1967. And on February 22, 1973, a tragedy occurred on it: lovers Am Satan and Kanchana "Gew" Sae-go jumped into the water from the bridge together and drowned. Dam was a poor bus driver that Gyu took to college. They met on this bus and started dating, but Hugh's rich father had already looked for a profitable match for her and did everything to end their relationship. As a result, the lovers decided to take their own lives. In 2011, two new bridges were opened and the Sarasin Bridge was no longer needed.
