Spring at Toyama Castle

#cherryblossom2024 Toyama Castle Park is the grounds of the former Toyama Castle initially constructed in 1543, belongs to a lord whose clan ruled over Toyama and Kaga province during the Edo Period. The Castle keep was dismantled during the Meiji period. Today, it consists of a garden and several keep housing the treasures and lacquerwares. During Spring time, there is also a Tulip festival where thousands of tulips were planted and full bloomed during mid of April. There are also a stream where you can take the boat to view the Cherry Blossoms when it is fully bloomed. A very nice place to visit indeed.
