The former site of the British Consulate in Wuhu

The former residence of the British Consul in Wuhu is located at the top of Yugu Mountain, which was started in 1887 and completed in 1889. It is an external corridor-style building with a two-story brick and wood structure, a square plan, and a construction area of 713 square meters. The walls are built with clean-jointed blue bricks, and it has a four-sloped corrugated iron roof. Originally the residence of the British Consul, it later became the office building of the Neisi Senior Industrial Vocational School. In May 2013, the former residence of the British Consul in Wuhu, along with the former site of the British Consulate in Wuhu, the former site of the Commissioner of Customs, and the former site of the Foreign Staff Assistance Building, were collectively announced by the State Council as the seventh batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.
