Recommended sightseeing time:
2-4 hours
Phuket 5 Days 4 Nights Free and Easy Trip, let's plan it
Preparations for advance booking:
1. Telephone card Happy Card (with data);
2. Exchange Thai Baht (13,000 Baht should be enough for two people's three to four days itinerary), bring some RMB for temporary exchange;
3. Book airport transfer service, around ¥120 per trip;
4. Book island hopping day trip.
🏨Accommodation
KK Karon Kata Boutique Hotel
A deposit of 2000 is required, a few minutes' walk to Karon Beach & 7-Eleven🏪, the hotel facilities are very new, mostly European and American guests, and it's relatively quiet around.
🏍️Transport
Rent a motorcycle: 250 Baht/day, no passport required, 2000 Baht deposit;
Taxi: Take bolt: around 200 Baht (Patong-Karon), the same distance by grab is 380-400 Baht;
🚶Itinerary
Day1: Arrival
Day2: Phuket Town - Chalong Temple - Promthep Cape for sunset - Rawai Seafood Market
Day3: Similan Islands island hopping day trip - Banzaan Seafood Market
Day4: Patong bigC - Kata coffee shop - Kata Beach - Massage
Day5: Return trip
🏖Island Hopping
1. Booked the Lightning No. 7 boat type, pick up from the hotel, and can also drop off at a designated place on the return trip;
2. The snorkeling mask comes with a disposable mouthpiece, and beach socks are also provided (shoes are not allowed on the boat and the islands);
3. First go to the island for fun and photos, then snorkel🤿 without getting your hair wet for photos;
4. Snorkeling is so much fun, saw various fish🐠, corals, and even turtles. It was said there are three snorkeling sessions, we didn't go into the water the first time without a guide, went down twice, time flies when snorkeling, was a bit scared of water at first, but the life jacket is very safe, got used to it and wasn't afraid anymore.
🦞Banzaan Seafood Market
🔸More cost-effective than Rawai Seafood Market, pick a few types of seafood and ask the seller for a package price, be sure to bargain❗️ If you can't bargain down, ask them to give something for free: bought 1 grouper, 2 big mantis shrimps, 1 Australian lobster, got 2 blue crabs, 2 squids, 4 scallops for free, a total of 2500 Baht;
🔸Seafood market second floor processing, at a stall called 'Guangdong Family', charged 600 Baht processing fee, couldn't bargain down, only got a plate of water spinach for free (be sure to ask for it! saw others getting fried rice) the taste is not bad, but it's very crowded and have to wait more than half an hour for the dishes.
🍴☕️Dining & Coffee Shops
🍜Noodles: Khai Waan Restaurant
Tom Yum Goong noodle soup and Thai milk tea are delicious! Have to queue, no Alipay, only cash accepted
☕️Cafe: On the hill
Cliff coffee shop, can see Karon Beach from a high place
☕️Cafe: A blanket & a pillow
Also a cliff coffee shop, this one is bigger, closer to the sea, even the seats can go all the way to the seaside, the scenery is beautiful but it's very crowded, can see the complete sunset
🌄Promthep Cape Sunset
Location: Cape Phrom Thep, follow the crowd to the viewing platform, there is a small path down that leads near the cape

Phuket Accommodation Guide, How to Choose from 4 Popular Areas?
Phuket's 4 popular accommodation areas:
⭐ Patong Beach: Phuket's Center | Lively Nightlife | Rich Entertainment Life
A mature tourist gathering place, with a row of hotels along the coastline, which is quite convenient. There are many spa massage shops, restaurants, cabaret shows, Muay Thai performances, and night markets, etc. The commercial atmosphere is very strong, and the beach is average.
⭐ Karon Beach: Surfer's First Choice | Blue Water and White Sand | Long Beach
The coastline is long and is one of the longest beaches in Phuket. The sea is azure and has fine white sandy beaches. There are not many water activities, and the atmosphere is more relaxed. The popular cliff cafes and cliff restaurants are built on the mountains of Karon Beach, where you can overlook the entire long coastline of Karon.
⭐ Kata Beach: Beautiful Sunset | Scenery | Surfing Spot
One of the best spots in Phuket to watch the sunset, with many entertainment options, close to Kata Night Market. Right at the entrance is the smart bus, adjacent to Karon Beach, about a 5-minute drive.
⭐ Phuket Town: Old Town | Michelin Food | Colorful Buildings
Various South Asian style colorful buildings, great for photography! Very suitable for shopping, check-in the same store as in the drama 'In Love'. There are also many Michelin-recommended restaurants in town, you can go to the night market and slowly experience the local culture here.

Phuket, Thailand: A travel experience that leaves you speechless
Phuket Island·Phuket Province is the only island in Thailand that has been granted provincial status, enjoying a reputation as a pleasant holiday destination. The island has a pure environment, with a total area of 576 square kilometers, and a tropical monsoon climate.
🌲Attraction Information:
November to April each year is the best time to visit Phuket.
🌸Recommended Travel Time:
🎀DAY1: Airport➡Karon Beach
When you come to Phuket, go to the beach to sunbathe! Rent an umbrella and two beach chairs for 200 baht! Then you can take beautiful photos. In the evening, we strolled around the streets near the beach and found a lot of delicious food.
🎀DAY2: Phuket Town ➡Patong Beach·Phuket Island
Patong is more lively, with a bustling bar street. There are also many good shops and delicious snacks.
🎀DAY3: Out to sea
On the third day, we went to Emperor Island and Coral Island, and booked the Silver Soul, the experience was very good! The space on the boat is very large, the tour guide takes good care of people, and the snorkeling coach treats each person very carefully.
🎀DAY4: Return
DAY4 is the return journey, before leaving, we bought a lot of Thai snacks at 711 to take away~ Super reluctant to leave, will definitely come to Thailand again!
✨Travel Tips:
❶ ✈️Preparation before departure: passport, print machine wine order, phone card, UnionPay savings card, carry cash 2000 rmb per person or 10,000 baht per person
❷🌊Going out to sea, it is recommended that everyone prepare a waterproof phone bag in advance, do not buy it in Thailand, bring it from China, the waterproof bag in Thailand is just a plastic bag, completely not waterproof.
❸🏠 Accommodation: We chose to stay near Patong Beach, convenient for travel, and there are many things to eat and play. Very satisfied with the hotel, less than a hundred meters away from the door there are two 711s, the right side of the hotel is the net red small hot pot.
❹🚗Taxi: grab, bolt app, taxi is really cheap, bind payment method in advance at home
🍀Experience Review:
✅Coral Island and Emperor Island: There are many sea projects, many swings for taking pictures, very good, can go together
✅Patong Beach/Karon Beach/Kata Beach: Free, the three are not very far apart, basically strolled together, suitable for taking pictures, looking at the scenery, finding a small shop to have a drink and chat is very comfortable
⭐️Travel Feelings:
It's really suitable for leisurely lying here, waking up naturally to eat a meal, then riding a motorcycle to the beach or a nice coffee shop, swimming for a while, watching the sunset in the evening.

Watching the sunset at Karon Beach, feeling the tranquility and beauty
Today, I finally came to Karon Beach. I heard that the sunset here is particularly beautiful, so I have been looking forward to it. Unlike Patong Beach, the atmosphere here is quieter, like a gentle girl. As the sun slowly sinks into the sea, the sky gradually dyes a layer of orange, and the waves gently slap the beach, as if whispering to me. At this moment, I feel that my soul has been purified, and all the troubles have been blown away by the sea breeze.
The sun has completely fallen into the horizon, and the sky is gradually darkening. I know it's time to leave. But my heart is full of satisfaction and gratitude, because this sunset is really too beautiful, making me feel the magic of nature. Next time I come to Karon Beach, I will definitely choose to watch the sunset quietly here.

Thai food in Phuket
Bai Toey is a small restaurant on a lovely little street in Karon beach serving traditional Thai food.
Most of the restaurant is outside and covered with lots of fans to keep you cool. The staff are very attentive and the seafood in the restaurant was my personal favourite. Phad Thai was also another popular dish which I would recommend. They also have free wifi along with special deals on the alcohol drinks #food

Nice Thai food in Phuket
Along the resort of Karon Beach there is a small street that has a few restaurants on. Butterfly Bistro is one of those restaurants that has a mix of Thai food along with some international dishes too.
The interior of the restaurant is very big, with wooden structures and fake motorbikes, with very welcoming staff. I would personally recommend any of the seafood dishes as they were the nicest ones that I tried. There is also free wifi in the restaurant

Karon Beach, Phuket 🏖️
#beachvacation
Karon Beach is situated on the western coast of Phuket and is a nice resort that is not as busy as some of the other resorts in Phuket. To get there, it is best to fly to Phuket International airport, which is about 1 by car and has many flights to other destinations in Thailand and Asia.
On the side of the beach there are many bars and restaurants that offer different types of cuisine and there are also some smaller bars on the beach itself. We stayed at a hotel that is a 2 minute walk from the beach which was fine because the beach is very accessible. The beach is also clean with lots of safety warnings as well as opportunities to do some water sports too #mytripvlog

beach side paradise in Phuket
#freehotelstay
Karon beach is a resort in Phuket, Thailand and there are lots of different hotels to stay at. We visited Karanburt Resort which was great!
Even though we arrived late, the receptionist were very happy to see us with a welcome drink. The reception area is quite a large wooden structure with a nice reading room for travellers. The bedrooms are a good size with a bath, shower and free amenities too. The swimming pool is also very big with a bar inside in it too. The beach is just across the road from the hotel and we were lucky enough to be able to see the waves from our private balcony #mytripvlog

Karon Beach
#exploreasia
Karon Beach is located at the West Coast of Phuket Island. The beach is a popular destination for tourists, basically this beach is quieter than the neighbouring Patong.
We like the quiet and peaceful environment here in the Karon Beach. This is a lovely place to walk on during sunset, away from the crowded and noisy beaches in Phuket, suitable for the couple and family travelling.

Authentic Phuket Cooking Class with Ms Chel
One of the thing we love to do as a couple is to attend local cooking class whenever we travel around. We were fortunate to meet a really friendly and experience local cooking teacher at Karon Breach.
Ms Chel taught us how to cook 4 authentic Thai dishes which we were surprise it was really easy and straight forward.
We highly recommend anyone that dropby Karon beach to pay her a visit at her hillside kitchen and she do offer free pickup if you’re accommodation is nearby.

Recommended 5 must-visit attractions in Phuket for travel enthusiasts.
It's great to have a friend who loves traveling and recommends the top 5 must-visit attractions in Phuket for me without any worries.
✅Smirnoff Island
Located on the northwest island of Phuket, with crystal clear blue waters, it is both a diving paradise and a popular spot for taking photos. Sitting on the rocks, I could gaze at the sea all day.
ℹ️Attention:
Limited opening, only 150 days per year, from December to April of the following year.
Drawback: A bit far, recommended for a one-day trip.
✅Kamala Beach
Once a quiet fishing village, it is still relatively primitive now. If Dongba Beach is like Sanya Bay, then here is a bit like Dadonghai, at least there won't be too many people.
ℹ️Tip
It takes about 10-15 minutes by taxi or TUK-TUK to get to Patong Beach, and there are many scenic hotels on the beach. Consider staying here.
✅Karen Beach
The water in Shimei is blue, and the coastline is so long, just like Yalong Bay in Sanya. The sand is finer and feels comfortable to walk on. Surfing in the afternoon and watching the sunset in the evening is so enjoyable.
ℹ️Note: From May to October, the waves are particularly strong, so please be careful and stay safe.
✅Phuket Big Buddha
The Thai version of Guanyin in the South China Sea is a landmark building in Phuket, but personally I think our Guanyin is more beautiful. However, standing under the 45-meter-high statue and looking up is still very shocking~
✅Cha Long Temple
The largest Buddhist temple on Phuket Island, of course, must be checked in. There are 108 golden Buddhas enshrined in the temple, and the incense is flourishing. I also think the appearance of the temple is very beautiful.
ℹ️Located in the southern part of Phuket Island, 8 kilometers away from the southern part of Phuket City.
Address: Luang Pho Chaem, Chalong, Mueang Phuket, Phuket 83130.
Opening hours: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Observant friends may have noticed that all the attractions are on the west side. If planned well from top to bottom, next time we can visit the attractions on the other side.
As for how to get there? Hahaha, I'm a bit timid and dare not go alone. I'll just join my friends' group. If we come across good scenic spots, we can stay and play for a while longer. It's more convenient that way.

Spent 5D4N on this gorgeous island with family & friends. Had plenty of Thai food, especially seafood & great hospitality by the locals. Stayed at Phuket Orchid Resort and Spa in Karon. Took a sunset cruise to Phrom Thep cove. Great fun.

Zippy Day Club 😎
The check-in point at Karon area is absolutely adorable. It's a combination of a beach club, bar, and café. The décor is designed in a pink style that resembles "My Ami" with plenty of photo opportunities 💖💗💕✨
Here, they serve food and drinks, including appetizers, main dishes, cocktails, and mocktails. Currently, they have a Happy Hour promotion. I highly recommend ordering the Sex on the Beach 🍹🍒 and Seafood Pizza 🍕, which are delightful and located on the beautiful Phra Ram VIII Road 😋
Additionally, on Saturdays and Sundays, there are DJs playing music by the lakeside 🎶
⏰ Open from 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm (Closed on Tuesdays)

Karon Beach 🏖 Phuket, Thailand
Not the best choice, there is nothing, just nothing, only ocean and beach, and as locals said it's not safe to swim there. so, I don't suggest to go there🤷🏻♀️but if you go you can take some pictures, like me 😁#gooutside #beachlife #summervacation #thailand #phuket

Quiet and calm
Lovely quiet stretch of beach. Lots of sun loungers available or you can just lay wherever you like. Water is swimmable.
It's nice to walk and can go for around 30 minutes end to end. Several little coffeeshops and restaurants just around the corner.
You can surf here, either bring your own board or you can rent. Can get classes too.
It's also dog friendly.

Escape to Karon
The beach in Karon is long, wide, and beautiful. It's the third longest and most popular beach on the island, sandwiched between Patong (to the north) and Kata (to the south). Karon Beach has the fine, golden sand that this region is known for, as well as a blue water that screams "vacation."
This beach is more quieter than its sandy neighbors, providing tourists with a more relaxed atmosphere. There will still be enough to do (such as parasailing, swimming, and jet skiing), but Karon makes relaxation a simple "sport."
If you're traveling on a tight budget, there are many of great guest homes to pick from. You'll discover everything from wonderful family resorts to luxurious resorts. Just give it a name.#christmasgiveaway #skiing #nationalpark
Sweet Talk on Phuket Island - Sweet Talk is a cute ice cream shop near Karon Beach. You'll find plenty of photo spots in the alleys around here. If you can, chill out and stay for a few more days. I bet you'll grow quite fond of the place!
Vivian..
last weel I spent time with my family here and I really love this place, it's so beautiful! My feelings and excitement can't be expressed in words. Just enjoy the the sunbath on the beach and feel like living in a paradise. Highly recommended, very nice! 🌊

Great beach, white soft sand turquoise clear waters, the waves added some fun.
The beach has beach bars to buy drinks and snacks and obviously you have sellers on the beach selling items, however it's quite a lot less sellers than patong beach
It has a toilet and shower block to use for a small charge.
Just of the beach is numerous bars shops and restaurants also local taxis and tuktuk service to take you back to your hotel.
Visited the beach a few times during our stay as it was so nice.
At the seas edge you can see big Buddha in the hills and kata view point over the other islands, its so relaxing and beautiful

Karon Beach in Phuket, in the south-central southwest of Phuket, is only a dozen kilometers away from the most popular and lively Patong Beach. Most of the tourists' understanding of Phuket is concentrated in the most popular Patong Beach. However, for me, it is more like Karen Beach under Patong Beach. The coastline here is long and wide, because there are not many tourists, and it is scattered on the four-kilometer-long beach. It doesn't feel crowded at all, giving a quiet and laid-back feeling. The waters of Karon Beach are very clear and clean, and the sand is very soft. Compared to the lively Patong Beach, it is definitely the holiday destination of people who like quiet people.

Phuket! Relaxing sunset cafe.
Wuwuwuwuwuwuwu
This cafe is so beautiful it made me cry 😭
The sunset view from this beautiful cliffside cafe is amazing!!
Drinking, chatting, watching the sunset and the sea is so relaxing~~
🧭[Navigation] Hidden Cafe Phuket
You can overlook the whole Karon Beach from here
There is a girl in the store who can speak Chinese, and the waiters are very nice
Remember to come here to take pictures at sunset
The sunset turns the sky orange, it's so beautiful!!
The electric swing is very photogenic
There are also pink balloons 🎈 and wing decorations for you to choose from, and the photos are amazing.
There is no minimum spend, but since I was already here, I had dinner here haha
The roast chicken and pizza are both good, and the drinks are also very good

Magical Sunsets at Karon Beach
#bestsunset
Karon Beach, located on the west coast of Phuket, Thailand, is renowned for its stunning sunsets. As the sun descends towards the horizon, the sky transforms into a vibrant palette of orange, pink, and purple, creating a breathtaking backdrop against the gentle waves of the Andaman Sea. Visitors flock to the beach, setting up their spots on the soft, golden sand to witness this daily spectacle. The atmosphere is tranquil, with the sound of the waves lapping against the shore enhancing the serene experience. Beachfront bars and restaurants provide the perfect setting to sip on cocktails or enjoy a meal while soaking in the view. As twilight approaches, the silhouettes of palm trees and distant boats add to the picturesque scenery. Karon Beach at sunset is a magical experience that captures the essence of a tropical paradise, making it a must-see for anyone visiting Phuket

Wonderful Karon Beach in Thailand
One of the most beautiful beaches i have seen in Phuket. Located 15 minutes away from Patong beach.
Two beds and umbrella for 200baht or you can just lay on the top of the sand bank with your towels, an absolute perfect place to catch the sunset.
The beach front is natural and dotted with tree lines giving much needed shade and cover to the beach area. There is also a massage shop, and the massage you get while listening to the sound of the waves is the best. There is a part of the beach where you play beach volleyball.

Karon Beach in Phuket is ideal for surfing
Karon Beach is the longest beach in Phuket, with higher waves, making it perfect for surfing. The water quality is slightly better than Kata Beach. Karon Beach also has a viewpoint that offers a panoramic view of the island's three major beaches. It is also close to the cliffside café. Surfing enthusiasts and beach vacationers can choose to stay in nearby guesthouses. Note that the rainy season is from May to October, so plan your trip according to the weather.
