Taco Bell in BKK!

Ding ding ding! Taco Bell’s calling! Situated in the first level of Samyan Mirtrtown. It was quite empty when I came in - either it was off-peak or not that popular amongst the thais. Had the hard shell tacos set (you gotta add 30baht if you want beef) and it doesn’t come with the dips (nacho cheese) so if you want, do add that in for 20baht. Now it's almost the 2023 New Year's celebration so these cute decorative elements ranging from a transparent snow globe to a huge Christmas tree can be found here. this is a really lovely and nice shopping mall that located right next to the best university in Thailand. there are always lots of students coming to the mall to get food. there are different cuisines, healthy food, Thai food, Japanese food and supermarkets downstairs. there are also food court that you can get some cheap eats. it’s a nice mall where you can relax and go shopping with your friends

#celebratewithtrip Welcome to the well known Shopping center that is a little town itself. The Building is very unique and can be recognized from far away. Samyan is strategically located in the center of Bangkok next to the prestigious Chulalongkorn University. Many students go here to eat chill study or even sleep since there is a condominium in the top of Samyan called triple Y with an amazing view over the city, since it is one of the tallest buildings in bangkok. Furthermore there are great restaurants in this shoppingmall. This is definitely one of the places that have to be checked out when you are here #tripblazers

Originated from Trang Province in the south of Thailand, Moo Yang Trang or Trang's roasted pork is a special kind of pork menu well-known to local tourists and Thai people. Now, you don't need to travel to Trang to enjoy this menu. You can simply go to the underground food hub of Samyan Mitrtown Department Store. You can choose many menus made from Moo Yang Trang such as rice and egg noodle with the delicious roasted pork as the topping. This food stall is called Dr. Moo Yang Trang and it sells takeaways only. But you can find some seats around the area. At Samyan Mitrtown, you can find many restaurants and food stalls on the underground floor. I came across an interesting chicken and rice stall which sells Shanghai style chicken rice. I've only eaten Thai style and Hainan style in Singapore, but I've never heard of Shanghai style before. So I gave it a try. Actually, Shanghai Chicken Rice has many branches throughout Bangkok. What special about it is the rice. It is mixed with seaweed so it has a sweeter taste than normal chicken rice. It also comes with a typical Thai style sauce and a Shanghai style sauce. There are a few restaurants and cafés that serve healthy soups, salad, poke bowls, or steaks in the heart of Bangkok . Getfresh at Samyan Mitrtown Department Store is one of these restaurants that you can find fresh vegetable salad, different kinds of soups, and healthy breakfast sets. This restaurant is located on the first floor of the store. It's large and can seat many people. As I was not feeling well on the day of my visit, I ordered the chicken Cesar salad and pumpkin soup hoping to feel better. You can choose from 3 different sizes of salad. The smallest bowl is around 160 baht. The pumpkin soup is around 100 baht. Lhong Tou Cafe is one of the most beautiful Chinese restaurants in Bangkok I've ever seen. This Chinese restaurant offers lunch sets and dim sum. It's on the first floor of Samyan Mitrtown Department Store. You can get here by the subway. Get off at MRT Samyan Station. I really like the interior and design of this restaurant. There are two floors for seating eventhough it's a one storey high restaurant. I tried some congee and side dishes. The red pork belly was a bit pricey but very delicious. Dim sum here is okay and you can ask for extra Chinese sour sauce for it which I really recommend you do. #passionpassport #urbanexplorer #bangkok
