Sembalun village is renowned as the first stop for taking rest after a long ride or drive from the city. The hikers usually stay a night or even more to first enjoy the vibes of the village, mingle with locals and do locals things here such as strawberry harvesting and take a sip of local's coffee. How to get there: Either you take a plane or boat, you will need to arrive at Mataram City, the capital city of West Nusa Tenggara province. You may take a rest for a while or stay a night in the city. After, you will need to drive a car or ride a hike to the village which will take about two hours trip. If you are not going to do hiking activity to the Rinjani Mountain, then I suggest you to spend more than a night here. The vibe here is so quiet, peaceful, relaxing and calm which will lead you to the nature admiring. Anywhere you stay, you will be greeted by the mountains. Kedai Sawah Sembalun terletak di Sembalun, Nusa Tenggara Barat, Indonesia. Masuk dalam kawasan Taman Nasional Rinjani. Kedai ini di kelilingi oleh pemandangan alam yang sangat menyejukkan mata. Perjalanan menuju lokasi sekitar 2 jam dari kota Mataram. Terdapat banyak penginapan di sekitar area. Kalau punya cukup banyak waktu, lebih baik menginap di area ini. #fallishere As Indonesia has no 4 season, but visiting Sembalun, Lombok on November is the best month for Strawberry harvesting. During your visit, you will see a lot of Strawberry field which can be harvesting by ourself with the permission. I was quite excited to have this kind of experience as I live in a city there is no way to get this opportunity. The strawberries here is fresh and ready-to-pick with small amount of price aka is cheap. The area is surrounded by mountains and exactly located at the foot of the Rinjani Mountain. If you are looking for hiking, you could try that Rinjani route and be on the top of it. I'm afraid there is no public transportation to get there, so it would be better to rent a car/motorbike as this will also facilitate you to take places around.

anak dara is a favorite destination for people who like scenery and mountains where people are very welcoming and the rice terraces are the most beautiful around Lombok. Nice people always smiling throughout the village trip which gives you a warm feeling while enjoying the green plantation. It is as natural as natural can be. Absolutely wonderful with a wonderful guide and community. Not very touristy but that's a good thing, good opportunity to see local village life. Be sure to get in touch with a local guide!
