Looking at this photo will make you want to visit Okinawa. I went to this place just based on one main photo I saw, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. The left side is an area not monitored by lifeguards, so you can snorkel in deeper waters. From the port, you can only take a bus to Aharen Beach, so if you want to visit Tokashiki Beach, I recommend either staying overnight or joining a tour. Snorkeling shops on the island can take you out for a snorkeling tour 🤿. There’s also an observation deck on the mountain, which takes about an hour round trip and is great for hiking. 📒 Tips: Be sure to book the fast ferry in advance. You’ll need your reservation number to pick up tickets on-site. Without a reservation, fast ferry tickets may not be available, and the slower ferry takes over an hour. day3️⃣ Tokashiki Island ➡️ Naha Return to Naha in the morning and visit American Village in the afternoon. Don’t miss the sunset at American Village—it’s incredibly atmospheric. The entire village has a Hawaiian vibe, with hidden Pokémon-themed spots and a variety of American and Korean cuisine. [Nagannu Island], about 20 minutes by ferry from Naha I didn't even know the name of this island until I went on this trip, but it was so amazing that I decided to go there every year, so I'd like to share it with you! It's easily accessible from Naha, so I highly recommend it for those who want to enjoy both city sightseeing and the sea!✨ It takes about 20 minutes by ferry from Naha to the island in no time. I was really moved the moment I saw the crystal clear emerald blue sea, which is incomparable to Naha 🥺 Food and drinks are not allowed, but there are beach huts so you can feel safe 😋 I went there at the beginning of July, and it was really really hot, so I took good care of UV protection, but if you're in the sea, your body will cool down, so you can stay in as much as you want! There are many activities, but fish often come to the shallows, so I put my iPhone in a case and took a lot of pictures in the sea 🐠✨ I tried [parasailing 🪂] for the first time, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. Nagannu Island in Chibishi Atoll A resort island 20 minutes from Naha. The island is characterized by its pure white sand and long, narrow shape🏝️ There is also a pier for boats to arrive and depart. I stayed in a cottage✨ Not only can you enjoy the beautiful sea to your heart's content, but it is originally an uninhabited island, so when the last boat leaves at 4:10 p.m., only guests are left. It suddenly becomes quiet, and the sunset is beautiful✨ We had a barbecue at night🥩 What! You can buy beer from a vending machine🍺 Breakfast was brought to us by the boat⭐️ The rooms are simple, but there is air conditioning, and the shared showers have hot water. The luxury of nothing✨ It feels like standing on the crystal clear Kerama blue sea✨ Kuefu Island in the Chibishi Islands is a flat island made of coral and shells, and is so small that you can easily see the whole island. The shape of the island changes with the tides. The coral shelves are amazing! You can swim with lots of sparkling fish✨ 20 minutes by high-speed boat from Tomari Port in Naha! There is no pier for the boat to dock, so we moved to a banana boat and landed⭐️ The beautiful sea is so close that it makes you feel excited♫ There are no regular boats to the island, so we took a deserted island landing tour. You can rent snorkeling equipment and wetsuits, and change on the boat. There are no toilets, so the boat is very useful. Actually, you can also enjoy the beautiful seascape of Okinawa's northern glass sea right in Naha by island hopping! We chose the well-developed Tokashiki Island, which is about 2km away from Tomari Port and International Street. ✅【Ferry Terminal】 ⭕️Tomari Port is an important port connecting the main island of Okinawa and several small islands nearby; ⭕️The ferry terminal is not large, and inside there are a few windows marked with different island names (Zamami Village, Kume Island, Tokashiki Island, etc.); ⭕️The Tokashiki Island window only accepts cash and credit card payments, electronic payments are not accepted. Next to it, Zamami Village can use online payment methods; ⭕️You must reserve the ferry from Tomari Port in advance on the official website; ⭕️The fast ferry takes 40 minutes, and the slow ferry takes 70 minutes. We booked the slow ferry for the whole journey, which costs 3310 Japanese yen, including a 100 yen environmental tax; ⭕️The slow ferry is quite stable, with a flat layer on 1F, which is highly recommended for friends who get seasick easily to sleep on the flat layer. I went to Tokashiki Island, about an hour by ferry from Tomari Port in Naha. The sea was crystal blue and really beautiful. The weather was great and the sun was strong, so I got a lot of sunburn. Reservations can be made by phone, online, or at the counter. *It was the high season in summer, so if you make a reservation a few days in advance it may be sold out, so I recommend making a reservation early! Prices: High-speed boat: ¥2,490, Ferry: ¥1,660 (both for adults/one-way) The ferry runs one round trip per day, and the high-speed boat runs two round trips per day in the morning and afternoon, but the number of round trips is increased to three round trips per day during Golden Week and weekends from July to September. Details can be found easily on the internet! Impressions: The ferry was crowded because so many people were boarding! If you get on early you can get a seat inside, but I got on just in time, so I relaxed on a chair outside with a roof! It wasn't a long ride, so some people sat on the floor and others stood and enjoyed the view. If you don't like boats, it's better to secure a seat early. You'll arrive at the island in no time! There's also a tunnel rock next to the beach, which is like a bouldering experience? It was a rock that looked like it could be made into a jellyfish, lol. Recommendation #3: Chicken Parlor It's no exaggeration to say that this place is a tropical paradise! ✨ Their specialty is garlic chicken, but they recommend something cold in the summer, so I ordered a smoothie!
