Bed and pillows extremely comfortable and the room and neighborhood exceptionally quiet. Forgot I was on such a busy street. Have stayed multiple times in last year and never been disappointed.

Although the room wad a little ‘tired’ and could do with a make-over, it was clean and comfortable. Very good value for money.

Oh my stars! What a nightmare!!!. When we arrived we walked towards our room. The key wouldn’t work. That should have been our 1st red flag. A very nice maintenance man came to open our door. 2nd red flag. He couldn’t open room 2. On to room 3. Another red flag.He was able to open the door. But he had to return to the office to get our keys reprogrammed. As we entered he told us that the tv didn’t work. Ok. We had a door to an adjoining room. Near the door was mold and part of the wall coming off. As I looked at the bed there were 2 small bugs and 1 small bug leg. Ok ask my husband if he is ready to leave. He said no. Since the tv didn’t work we sat and talked. The next thing I see isa roach on his cup. That confirmed his problem. I felt like I was at Bate’s motel. Next morning up and gone by 8. I have never left a hotel that early. So be prepared……

The service was great and the night worker did everything to make things right. He moved us to another room because the television didn't work. The other room half of the lights worked but told the worker and he wanted to move us again but we told him that was okay. We were told that they were getting ready to do rentalvaction that is why we were without clock and phone. The stay was okay beside the problems we didn't do the breakfast.

Charming hotel, excellent staff and delicious breakfast. The room was very quiet and clean upon arrival. It is very close to the interstate and close to some great restaurants. I enjoyed the proximity to Avery Island and other attractions that I enjoy.
